The granite was cracked in the back of the kitchen faucet. I was afraid they would just repair it and move on as so many other companies have done. Instead, to my surprise they were able to find a piece of granite that was an exact match to mine and they were able to replace the cracked portion of the granite. The sink now looks like nothing had ever happened !! For them to find the perfect match was amazing !!! Just sorry it took me so long to write this review Love this company !! Claudie F. Burbank

In return I received an utterly ridiculous, scripted and irrelevant reply from 'Maria' requesting: 1. In home visit to review project details and take 'precise' measurements. Not surprising as they want to sell more than I asked for. It's a TABLETOP, 54" diameter. How hard is that? 2. Address and phone number - evidently so they and their network can plague me with solicitations. 3. A layout or drawing of the project. It's a TABLETOP and I provided a photo. 4. If project is on ground floor or are there stairs - it's clear in the photo I provided. 5. Do I have the stone and what type- this was evident in the original request for a quote. I would at least expect them to say "in a recommended thickness of 'x', it's x-dollars for marble, y-dollars for quartz, etc Overwhelmingly pathetic first interaction.

I really want to give Fernando a good review but unfortunately that was not the experience for us…read more We called Fernando because we had 2 bathroom counter tops to fabricate since they sold out at ikea and we had difficult time finding them at HomeDepot and Lowes. We wanted to check out what slabs he had or order from a slab yard where we found a slab on sale. We were in a hurry to find a fabricator. When I first called Fernando around 6pm and surprised he picked up, he was very personable and very kind. He sent me a estimate for fabricating 2 counter tops and picking up the slab from slab yard. My bf is a contractor on the east coast and suggested we see if he had left over slabs as well since it means he can use left over pieces and wont have to pick up from slab yard. My boyfriend spoke to him about the slabs. He sent us pictures from his workshop and gave us a quote and everything seem to be going swimmingly. He said it would be completed in a week and to pick up from his workshop in Garden Grove. I checked in with him a couple times. He picked up the phone 95% of the time but didn't respond text messages. 5 days pass, I call to check and he says everything is fine and we could pick up on Wednesday. We call Tuesday night to confirm pick up time. On Wednesday we drove to the address provided for the warehouse which took us 45 minutes and we even got there earlier and in the area. Fernando called us about 30 before meet time and said he wouldnt be at his workshop. His reasoning was someone got hurt and had to go to ER. My bf says its a classic story he hears often from subcontractors. Who knows if its true. Either way he said he would deliver to us the next morning, which he never did. We never called back cause it seems clear that we were just being dragged along. We know our job is really small considering its not a kitchen and just 2 tiny pieces. It would have been fine if he just told us the job is too small or if its not possbile for XYZ. We would have understood, but dragging us along and wasting our time was a huge disappointment. We wasted 2 weeks.

The cost of installation was $850, due to…read morethe lack of a normal tool, Fernando made holes in the new wall to rest a crowbar and press on the countertop. The alignment of two countertops is also not the best, in addition, during the work he dropped the tool and broke the tile on the floor and at first denied his involvement, but after I sent before and after photos, he agreed to cover the cracks in the tile with resin. He installed the countertop not with glue as required by building codes, but with cheap $3 cocking. He never provided a receipt or warranty, wrote to him twice and did not receive an answer, so I do not recommend working with him to avoid problems later.

5+ STARS!!! Special thanks to Carlos at Corner Stone Granite Design. I met with Carlos several…read moretimes to discuss my kitchen upgrade. He was extremely patient helping me select my counters from choice of materials, layouts, prefab vs slab. Carlos is just so friendly and easy to talk to, while demonstrating his extreme expertise in everything there is to know about counters (materials, prefab vs slab, installation techniques, options). After picking out my quartz selection from his recommended supplier, Elite Stone Group, everything went like clockwork. Carlos and his team measured my kitchen, picked the counters from Elite Stone, cut to size in his warehouse, and installed to absolute perfection. Every cut, every hole, every edge was precise, and accurate. I appreciated how his team worked clean, with extreme workmanship and confidence. The end result was just absolutely stunning. I have received so many compliments on the counters from friends, family and contractors. The five star reviews Corner Stone has is for REAL. I would highly highly recommend putting complete trust in Carlos in installing your counters. As a pro tip, the counter selection is as important, if not more so, than your cabinets; recommend ALWAYs going with slab to get the least amount of seams, and matching of patterns across cuts. Doing a kitchen once and right is the approach to take. Lastly, Cornerstone pricing is excellent; comparing custom slab install prices to prefab installs offered by cabinet installers; is not apples to apples, so make sure to compare slab to slab install prices only. 5+ stars for Carlos and Corner Stone Granite Designs! I can't wait to do my wet bar with Carlos this year! Thanks Carlos for your expertise and help!
