Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. My wife and I have said several times that we don't know how we would've done it without Mission Movers. I know exactly who I'm hiring for any of my future moves. 10/10 experience! They provided more movers for the hourly cost than the other two companies and were available. Darlene was kind and amazing, and thorough in asking questions about furniture, packing, pets, and exercise equipment. Things I didn't even consider! Day of the move (Saturday after Thanksgiving) Ryan, Santos, Mario and Amir showed up on time, carefully wrapped all of our furniture with either blankets or plastic wrap. The asked questions about where things should go, and questions about how to assemble or disassemble things. This is our third move, and we are not as young as we were with our last move. We had to make two trips, but it was still within budget. Next move, I'll call them again, and pay for packing (which we thought we could do on our own in our 50s!) We got six to eight quotes to get our master bathroom completely redone and ended up going with EKB…read moredue to Tim's attention to detail during the initial meeting, patience, consistent (but not too much) following up, and professionalism. We stopped by their showroom about three to four times to pick out the tile, countertop, cabinets, etc. and each time Tim was very accommodating and patient. He assisted but was not overbearing at all in terms of helping us choose what would look best and gave some great tips and points. Our master bathroom was more than just a facelift, we removed a closet, extended the bathroom, fixed a leak, moved some plumbing and electrical, etc. Each crew member we interacted with was extremely professional, did the work quickly and professionally, and Sam the foreman was helpful in answering all of our questions. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the end product. Tim and his entire team are very patient, communicative, and we will likely use EKB again when we get our other bathrooms and kitchen redone.

Terrifying Moving Experience -- Stay Away…read more This was hands-down the worst move of my life. What should have taken 2-3 hours turned into a 10+ hour nightmare ending at 12:30 AM. One of the movers repeatedly pressured me for more money, invented extra fees, and even brought a child to help him move heavy furniture -- completely unsafe and unacceptable. He disappeared mid-move for over an hour, spoke down to me, and left his pants at my apartment (which he came back for late at night -- terrifying). I hired movers to make things easier, but ended up more involved and stressed than if I had done it myself. The company's response to all of this was dismissive and their refund offer insulting. Avoid this company at all costs.

Some things to point out, I shopped around and got quotes from 5 companies and clean cut movers came in as the lowest. They were super easy to work with and very responsive. From beginning to end (including drive time and a quick lunch break), they were able to pack and move majority of my home (they did more than I expected) in about 9-10 hours and the final cost was a bit lower than I expected it to be. We were so pleased with the entertainment center that we had him build a 9' buffet with 4 floating shelves. Again, we couldn't be happier. The third project was on a smaller scale. It was a shiplap wall with a 10' shelf. Although a smaller project he tackled it in the same way he does every job - with precision to detail on every aspect. Our last project was a 10' wall with lower cabinets as well as 2' upper cabinets on the left and right leaving area in the middle to accommodate a large tv. With this guy, his attention to detail and quality of workmanship are top notch. He had to figure out how to how to make the six tall shelf sections (12-1/2' high sloping down to 8') follow an unevenly sloping ceiling while dealing with a wall surface (13-1/2' long) that was not necessarily flat or square. But he did it, and from the pictures you can see that he did it with beauty and style! If you have an easy or difficult job, Steve will make sure it's done well and done right. We would never call anyone else.

I recently purchased a kitchen sink/faucet from Monica at Kohler Costa Mesa. After 3 months, the…read morefaucet began leaking. Monica worked with Customer Service to send out a cartridge to fix the faucet. When the plumber installed the cartridge and it didn't resolve the issue, she offered to call Customer Service to expedite the Letter of Replacement needed for Kohler Costa Mesa to replace the faucet. She then had the faucet delivered by courier in a little over an hour, rather than me do without a kitchen faucet over the weekend. My plumber returned the same afternoon, and I had a new faucet installed by 3 pm. Monica's initiative/coordination of all parties involved was truly an example of an employee going above and beyond to bring satisfaction to a customer. Kudos to Kohler Costa Mesa - Monica is an asset to your business!
