On that note, let me tell you that hiring Luis to do our flooring was one of the wisest choices I made in this journey. From the first phone call, Luis has been extraordinarily adept with communication (which to me is huge!)-- he answers phone calls, returns phone calls, always responds to texts messages in a timely manner, and has always been professional and courteous (same goes for his crew). Discussing pricing was easy, and extremely reasonable. He and his crew have always been on time, and have met their timeframe deadlines (I hired them for two jobs thus far). This is not to mention how amazing their work and work ethic are! My general contractor for the bulk of our shop (separate from KR T&S) had made a comment about how in his 20+ years of being in this business has only seen one other company prep (for the floors before placing tile) as thoroughly as them. Luis was always more than willing to lend a hand in anything he could within his capacity--he introduced us to several of his own contacts for other areas of work not pertaining to tile. I was so pleased with my experience with KR T&S, that I went on to hire Luis' referral for another area of work, and I'm so happy I did. I only give this company 1 star because the workers on site were very polite and it passed…read moreinspection. Chris's contract says "proximately 60 days to complete." The whole project took 180 days to complete. Other than that, Chris has been very difficult to work with. Since day one he claimed that he would be on site overlooking the job which made me feel confident in his contractor/leader abilities. That was false. Towards the middle/end of the project he would only show up to collect checks, not checking in on any of the work his workers were doing. Now that the project is finished, he could care less about the quality of work performed which is disturbing. Being a contractor myself, I would be on site or at least checking in on their work every other day since it would ultimately be my companies name on the project. I was frustrated with the false hope and brought it up to him one day. He responded with "stay out of my business." When my clients have an issue, I am there to fix it and go to worlds end until they are satisfied. In Chris case it's far from that. Now we are at job completion and we have these minor issues (in the photos) that we'd like addressed. All he cares about is collecting the final check and could care less about performing a final walk through. Once again, mind baffling... He also has tried to put some of the inspector's corrections on me. His workers dug out for a crawlspace access and left a large pile of dirt. The inspector asked to have that removed, and Chris "tried" to get away with having us do it. Multiple times has he tried to play us like we're stupid. A very bad strategy in my opinion. Now granted he is never on site to check the work so it's possible he didn't even realize his own guys put the dirt there. At this time I can not recommend this company.

I've worked with Danny and Joe Morgan for a couple of projects. These guys are a great team to work…read morewith, they make great efforts to get you what you want and at great value. They both work in stone and tile, however it seems that Danny is a little more on the tile side, and Joe handles the granite and other slabs. Danny is a people person - he has connections throughout the tile industry and pointed us towards people that could give us outstanding deals on tile. He also is an "idea man" he'll give you a bunch of options for what you can do - you just need to pick which one will work for you! Joe is very responsive, whenever we had an issue during our projects, (and there always are some - no matter what you do!) Joe immediately had someone take care them without hesitation - and that's really the best you can ask for in a contractor. There crews are clean and professional, always asking questions to make sure everything is ok. They showed up on time and on some occasions worked late to get the job done on schedule. Our first job was a bathroom our house and it included floor tile, shower tile, and glass and stone accent strips, backsplashes, and a bunch of limestone with fossils in it for the sink, shower and tub surround area. It was a high end work and turned out exactly as expected. Our second job was a complete remodel of one of our rentals - wood look tile flooring everywhere, slabs of quartz and granite in two bathrooms and the kitchen a couple of vanities and a desk area as well - also two full shower remodels - in this case we gave Danny and Joe the opportunity to find us materials that were great deals and let us check them out - they came through with fantastic options, digging up remnants and suppliers cancelled orders to get us a high end look on a "rental fix up' price. We have received many compliments on both jobs and are very happy with both - and it's been some time since these jobs were completed - their quality materials and installation have stood up to use! Next up - I'm working on a countertop/bar for my outdoor pizza oven/smoker area - Joe and Danny will be doing the counter tops. I have several more jobs on the someday list - a new kitchen at our house and whole other rental to renovate. So I guess the best recommendation is that I will continue to work with them for years to come!

There was a lot of dust during the tear down of the old tile countertop. Good thing he enclosed the entire kitchen with zipwall to prevent dust from going to other areas of the house. I actually had our kitchen done by Joe 2 years ago and I'm only writing my review now. I wanted to see how well it was done and I honestly can say everything looks like it's still brand new. No problems whatsoever. My wife and I took months to find a contractor that have good reviews and very good price. Not only were the results flawless, his team had to work at off hours in order to keep the gym open for members. This meant extra work to set up and take down floor protection, tape off areas, etc. They painted walls, ceilings, window and door frames, doors, and some metal uprights. One of the metal surfaces to be painted didn't react well to the material we originally chose as a covering. Nico came back with a few solutions as to how it could be remedied and the results with the new material came out better than what we originally planned for. From the start, his whole entire team was thorough, attentive, customer service-oriented, and neat/clean. On the affordability spectrum, I would say that they are towards the mid-higher range, but I hired them knowing that you get what you pay for. Cheaper NEVER means better. Paintura does phenomenal work all around.

After many years of research, I finally decided 2024 is the year I'm going to get my white kitchen. Before I hired Paintura, I had gotten about 10 different quotes. I learned a lot about paint and I was also equally confused as to who I should hire. A lot of contractors seemed nice, some seemed more knowledgeable than others, some were plain expensive and out of my budget. Nevertheless, I was tired of getting quotes and decided that Friday was going to be my last appointments and I was going to make a decision that weekend. I had an appointment with the owner of Paintura (Nico) on Friday and right before our appointment, he texted me to let me know he had gotten a flat. Knowing he was traveling from Costa Mesa to Eastvale, I thought immediately he wasn't going to come. To my surprise, he showed up an hour later than the scheduled time but he still came, despite of the circumstances. Immediately, I had a good feeling about him. Nico seemed knowledgeable and friendly, and out of all the painting contractors I had met, he was the only one who brought a measuring tape and actually took measurements (!!) He said this was to ensure he didn't under or over charge me. He answered all my questions and I was also happy to hear that he was going to use Centurion 2k paint (if you don't know what this is, please check it out, it's the best paint!) He gave me a quote that was more than reasonable (no, it wasn't the cheapest but it was very reasonable if you take into account the cost of 2k paint). Because of a previous bad experience with a contractor, I made sure I looked over the contract and had him reflect changes on the contract that we had discussed in person. He was patient with me and made sure I was comfortable with the contract. I also got a discount because I was willing to wait 3 weeks. While I waited, Nico connected me with a designer from Sherwin Williams, and I had fun picking out my colors with the designer's help (I decided on doing white on the cabinets and gray on the island) Last week, Nico and his crew came out and repainted my kitchen cabinets. His crew Bailey, Martin and Oscar were courteous and respectful while inside my home and they worked efficiently to get the job done. Even though it was inconvenient to not have my kitchen for about a week, I appreciated the fact that they carefully covered and masked the area, so there wasn't too much dust. They also cleaned up before they left, so there wasn't too much I had to clean up, besides the usual vacuuming and mopping of the countertops. Throughout the process, I was always able to reach Nico via text or phone calls - I didn't feel like I was just a number to them. Now that the work is done, I'm amazed how much bigger my kitchen looks. Nico and crew are true professionals - I'm satisfied with the result. 10/10 will recommend!
