They will only allocate minutes to planning a project with you otherwise they want a deposit to even help. I lost a 1k deposit with them even though they didn't have a written terms agreement the employee that was initially helping us quit and we didn't like anyone else's customer service (Very rude and rushed). I wanted my deposit back and they refused Ali, which is the owner is on a high horse and money hungry. I'm surprise he's not part of Trumps cabinet, since he fits the characteristics needed to fit right in there. Anyways....Places I recommend that help you and like any good business "risk" not possibly getting the customer even if time is allocated consulting. I had to replace the gas valve, chamber and the pilot was last (after the first two parts did not do the job), even though the faulty part was explicitly due to a gas valve malfunction. This is the only place within a 25 mile radius that carried the part. Old school type of hardware/ plumbing store, did not disappoint. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and the price for the part would've been cheaper at the store than even Amazon. Rheem reimbursed me, but for future reference this place has better prices. My husband is in charge of this project so he mostly deals with the contractor, our vendors, etc There's plenty of variety to choose from and besides Ana, we had been helped by others when she's not there. They were one of the few places I found that carried prefabricated quartz countertops within my budget. That's where the positive experience ended though. The countertops that came in looked like a watered down version of the floor sample, much more plain and washed out. I understand these are manufactured items and won't be identical, but they should still be in the same range as what is displayed. We even reordered with a different style, thinking that might solve the issue, but the second set had the same problem. After two failed attempts, I tried to cancel the order altogether. The items never left the facility, but Bodega would not allow a return. My contractor even tried to convert the order into store credit to use for another client, and that request was also refused. Customer service only added to the frustration. I came in right at opening one day because I needed to get in and out quickly before work. Despite that, I was passed over while staff handled a large tile delivery, which could have easily been done before opening or at a less busy time. I understand waiting my turn, but this felt poorly managed and inconsiderate, and it nearly made me late. Overall, this was a disappointing experience on multiple levels. Between the product issues, lack of flexibility, and poor service, I would not recommend coming here.
