If you are in an emergency maintenance situation that is not worthy of calling 911 on a holiday or weekend...good luck, because there is not emergency maintenance number and their automated Robot that the maintenance line sends you to, is terrible and never accurate. I will say, once we did get a hold of them, they were helpful. However it did not feel like enough compared to what we had gone through. In addition- with most of the roadblocks we did face during our lease, flooding included, they were quick to indemnify us and help and I appreciate that. It felt like they did what was in their power as landlords. This was just part of my experience, but I have had immensely worse and uncaring landlords living in the SDSU area compared to Mendes. Take that with what you will. In the end, they are good landlords, just with a few frustrations.
