We're at the Caster business center in Grantville and our shop is flooding. It's ruined our vinyl plotter (it short circuited from the water pooling up). Pacific Coast Commercial doesn't take any responsibility or liability when their building isn't holding up to your machines so don't rely on them to replace your stuff when it happens. You'll have to rely on your own insurance to fix things. Also, forget getting things fixed in a timely manner, it's been about a week since we complained about flooding, and we investigated that there's a LEAKING PIPE, IN THE ELECTRICAL ROOM. How safe does that sound? absolutely not safe at all. I'm pretty sure electrical and water don't mix. So far they've been nothing helpful at all and the pipe is still leaking after 2 weeks. read more

Eastgate was recently purchased by this company (so I am told) and forgot to forward still active contracts ("Eastgate related") to the newly assigned property manager ("Kathy"), who has no idea of what's going on. Kathy is not only giving out WRONG information to relevant business leases, but she's also authorizing building door replacements (without prior owner notice or consent) and insisting the owners make building modifications not authorized under the business owner's current contract. Scum of the earth. Especially pink shirt wearing, lying to your face, Dick "Dirty Car" Chathum- you can trust him as far as you can throw him only. Taking over properties from landlords, lying to the tenants, looking for loopholes in existing leases to dishonor them and write up a new one for what they think the property is worth, not what it's actually worth and they want you to pay for all the maintenance associated with leasing the building. Then when the tenants sell due to the highly inflated rent during this pandemic, they are being forced to sign a waiver stating they won't sue Pacific Coast for any wrong doing they may have done- which seems super shady to me... The roof has been leaking for years and needs replacing- we have repeatedly told the landlord about this and all they did was patch the leak with tar. Now that it's winter time and raining again the roof is still leaking and now we are being required to pay for anything it needs. These guys are very unethical, do not work with them, you can do WAY better. read more

Only because I can't leave a -1* This review is for Jeff Davies. We've been looking for an office space for a month. We found one that looked promising, but wanted to continue seeing others as well, to ensure finding the perfect fit. A week later, I called Jeff regarding a specific ad I saw on a commercial real esate app. Jeff met us at the property 15 mintues late, I had already toured the entire office prior to his arrival. A few days later he sent over 3 other propertires via email to look at. I kindly let him know out of courtesy that we decided to put an offer in on the place we had seen a week earlier. He accused me of stealing the property off the list of three properties he sent over, even after I had told him we saw it a week ago, before even meeting him! He sent another email five minutes later telling me how important his time is. Extremely unprofessional, desperate and presumptuous. Who treats people like that? My husband sent an email letting Pacific Coast Commerical know about the terrible experience with Jeff Davies, no one has responded. Seems they don't really care. My friend owns a business in a shopping mall managed by Pacific Coast Commercial. We stopped at their office to pay rent, and if possible, talk with one of their property managers about a few matters related to my friend's lease. It was getting late on a Friday afternoon, and not having appointment, we had pretty low hopes of finding someone to talk to. Sure enough, no one was available. But then to our great surprise, Michelle Torres appears and spends several minutes talking to us and answering our questions. I've got to say that I'm pretty sure she was just as busy as her co-workers that afternoon, but she went out of her way and made the extra effort to see us. I've worked with many Commercial agents before and can say that you can do better than Pacific Coast Commercial. Though most of the agents here seem to need more experience with commercial transactions; I would say that Thomas Dechant is probably their worst agent. If you want to use Pacific Coast please use another agent. He says he has been in the industry for years however; his lack of common real estate knowledge/ law is far under what someone in his position should be. Had so many problems with him and all of them stem from his lack of knowledge in common real estate practice. Do yourself a favor and use another agent. read more

This is long, but I have included the whole story so you can see at any number of points it could have been dealt with. As for the company, I can only assume the other two reviews were written by employees of Pacific Coast, or something has seriously changed within the company. Perhaps it is just the agent(s) I was involved with, but in my 17 years as a business owner, it was the worst leasing attempt I have encountered. I can say my experience started off on the wrong foot from the get go. Using a 3rd party, I submitted an inquiry on several pieces of property. I was very specific, that I was unavailable by phone for the next few days, if the property fit my specification, would they please contact me by email, with details. Every property management company that followed up responded as I requested and emailed me, except for Pacific Coast, who called repeatedly and then only wrote me an email, 3 days later complaining that my mail box was now full. This alone is really not that big of a deal, however it was only the beginning. On my return, I called back, I was polite I didn't even mention the issue with the email, I had property to view and that was all that mattered, but showing property is not is not important to Pacific Coast. The agent I drew, had little or no time for me. His next available appointment time was 3 days later (a Thursday) and at 8:30AM. Now I had already viewed 4 properties from other agencies prior to this one, and on all 4 occasions, I saw it same day, and either the listing agent showed me the property, or they sent someone else. Now, I am someone looking to buy, and the other agencies acted like good sellers, Pacific Coast did not. I told Pacific Coast there was no way I could make an 8:30AM appointment. The agent sounding very put out, and said he would try and change another appointments and call back in an hour. 7 hours later I received a phone call leaving a message saying he couldn't change his other appointment, so we could try again on Friday at 8:30AM. I did not receive that message until late in the evening so responded with an email saying again that I was unable to make any 8:30AM meeting, I expanded this saying I did not have child care until 9AM, it had to be 9AM or later. The next day I received another email saying my voicemail box was full, it wasn't but to be safe, I really wanted to see the two properties, I gave 2 additional numbers. My business partners phone number and my personal cell phone number. The next day I was finally able to talk to the agent, (on my cell phone number), gave him the property address, and again was told he could meet me at 8:30AM I almost popped, but remained calm and advised him again I could not do 8:30AM. He said he would have to get back to me. (At this point, I had already viewed 6 other properties from other agencies without any problem or delay). The next morning, my business partner received a missed call, no message, and I received an email later that night saying he called my business partner and got no answer, and that my voicemail box was full still....STILL, I gave you a different number that you called yesterday, why did you revert back to an old number that doesn't work for you? Also, why didn't you leave a message with my partner? I know few people who call back random unrecognized missed calls. The email goes on to say he can meet me at 9:30AM, but only if I call him back this afternoon to confirm and then again at 9:00AM to reconfirm. Reconfirm, I have to call twice?? Now the time stamp on the email is 3:40PM, and it is 5:04PM when I read it, I am not a person who checks his email every 15 minutes, but I call back anyway. I get his voice mail, I say yes 9:30AM works. I also respond in the email that 9:30AM works. At 9:12AM I call and say I am at the property and that I am calling like he asked, I would wait there. His response was "you didn't contact me like I said, I will not be there I have other commitments now." 10 days of trying to see a property came down to me sitting in a parking lot staring at my phone. If I had property listed with Pacific Coast, I'd be concerned about how, when and if, they could or would lease it, They don't act like they want to lease anything, and I tried above and beyond to view property I really wanted to lease. I tired calling Pacific Coast a few minutes later, and asked for a supervisor, a head person, anyone who could help me deal with this., All the person answering the call would give me was another agent if I would like, so I said yes. What I got was another unanswered phone and please leave a message. In the end, I took another location, different leasing company, easier to work with, and wanted to lease the building. I am headed there next to write their 5 star review. read more
