These guys are amazing. We were passing through on I35 and all of a sudden was showing "low oil pressure" so we pulled off in Ardmore in our Toyota. it was Saturday and no repair shops were open. We called CC Hyundai and they said, "come on over and we will take a look". Our car had sprayed all the oil under the car and the engine had none. The great team at Carter County figured out our problem, went and bought the part, installed them and we were on our way in a couple hours with a bill that was a fraction of what we had expected ($77). Out of State buyers beware! I was told by one sales person a price (and that it was reviewed with the manager), put a deposit down, then Jeremy (Supervisor) the next day told me another price. Even if the first price was wrong, I definitely didn't appreciate how Jeremy handled. "Do you want to buy it or not!" Then I heard James make a comment that he would charge me more if I spoke with him (when I asked to speak with the manager). Had a great experience purchasing a new Santa Fe Limited from Carter County Hyundai - worth the 90 mile drive to avoid the gimicky local dealers. Came late on a Friday night and they were extremely friendly and happy to have us look without any sense of rush. Came back the next day and they had the cars we wanted to look at again pulled up and ready to go for us. The paperwork/finance portion was the most efficient and easy going that I've ever had purchasing a car. Met everyone from our great salesman to the owner of the dealership. I spent part of the day with them over the phone to get approved not pre approved so that I wouldn't have to make a trip up their and waste their time or mine . I went in specific detail on everything ahead of time and got the ok on paper work that I had , then proceeded to drive 2 1/2 hours to get their and in three minutes told me I was not approved. Thankfully I didn't actually go into the dealership. However, I did call hoping to get a few answer. The 2 women who answered the phone had great customer service. They transferred me to the manager. Whom's name is James Bowman. We asked our questions and he gave me the answers (I believe). I asked him to repeat the name of the bank that we financed through. He un-happily repeated it and with attitude began to spell the word global. I then told James I knew how to spell the word global but thank you. He responded with (and I quote) "I don't know why you're being a smart-ass to me I haven't done anything to you." Now let me first say I was in fact NOT being a smartass. Although I work in customer service and have for years. Regardless of a customers action you don't speak to or treat a customer with such disrespect. I was visiting a friend in Ardmore so decided to have my oil changed on my 2015 Santa Fe Sport. The service department told me the special was a free oil change on my next visit if I came in on Saturday. When I picked up my vehicle the service tech stated "I don't know who told you that we don't have a special". Sad part is I know I called the Carter County Hyundai and was transferred to the service department. I guess this is a new practice to mislead customers thinking they are getting a good deal but then is not such a great deal. Thank goodness I had the floor mats from the dealership I purchased my car from covering my new floor mats because someone in the service department got grease all over the drivers side floor mats. However, 2 weeks later(Christmas Eve to be exact) we found out the the TTL was not financed in the price like it is in Texas. When going over the contracts to sign that info was kinda just "glossed over". Now we have been informed to get the tags we need to come up with about $1,100.00. due to covid, I couldn't make it over to pick out a vehicle, I have a handicapp child.. but, Randy, of carter County Hyundai picked out a 2016 jeep patriot and got me finance and even brought it to me, within 3 month I had to replace the trottle body ( $845.) within 6 months the jeep will barely run, it dies on me while driving, without any warning, the windshield wiper in the back goes crazy, all the lights on the dash board comes on, I took a chance and took the jeep back over to them to check out, they wouldn't even run any test, they (Guess) that it might be the Tipm and PCM is going out. while waiting on the service guy my son had a seizure in his office and as I always do I tended to it, when the service guy return and told me they couldn't get to it today and that they needed to test it but, didnt have another vehicle for me to get home. well I dont live in ardmore and didnt have anybody I could call. in the meantimes, Randy , one of their salesman, the same one that sold me that piece of junk try to get me to trade it in with a much higher monthly payment which I couldn't afford. they claim no responsibility and I was left with a broken down jeep and a handicapp child to deal with and had to take the risk of driving it 26 miles back home, ( I dont live in ardmore). I was never treated so rudely in my life, now I sit with no vehicle to drive , cant even take my son to the doctors and paying on a piece of junk , I was taken by this company, taken advantage of and they are rudest people i've ever met, what a regret ever dealing with this company.
