The salesman kept telling the people a different down payment then i was giving , a week after I bought my car the battery died, the transmission is already slipping and the took 3 months to get my tags to me. Carter county is a joke. My fiancé made a appt to look at a truck Monday 11/8/21 around 430. We get there and our salesman is just sitting there, after about 5 min he approaches us and says he is wrapping up on some things and will be with us. We walk to the back where the used cars are and you can tell by our salesman demeanor the truck isn't there. Acts as if he is calling his manager to find out where the Chevy Colorado is at , only for him to tell us that they had sold it this afternoon. He drove a hour and half away to look. The least he could have done was text and call and say hey we sold the truck FYI. The manager did try to make it right by filling our tank up with 10% ethanol gas (which I don't use in my car) so couldn't do anything to help. Thanks but no thanks! read more

The staff at Carter County Jeep are fantastic. My niece & I were on the road driving to Texas on a Saturday & had a brake light out. When we drove up to the service office the staff Bo & Marcus who are in the sales department made sure we were led to the right person Marek who helped us right away. He was very empathetic knowing we were passing through on a very long drive to Texas. The whole staff was very professional & offered us soda, snacks & coffee. The coffee was fantastic by the way. Only gave it one star because you can't give a ZERO. I had problems with them years ago when I took my dodge charge in for a repair. Gave the guy all the info via email on what exactly needed to be done. Picked up the car when it was "ready" and it BROKE DOWN on the way home. They repaired some other crap and didn't repair what was wrong- then tried to make me PAY for the crap they "fixed" the first time! after days of arguing with them I printed out the emails- went there, argued some more and got NOWHERE. they tried saying the guy I was emailing was not who his screen name said he was and was a guy they had already fired (BS). meanwhile they wouldn't release my car to me even though I had CHECK IN HAND for the quoted price of the correct repair. I had to have my lawyer write them a letter in order for them to release my car and accept the payment. fast forward 5 years and my husbands dodge ram broke down. unbeknownst to me he takes it to Carter County. I had a bad feeling but thought it's been years since my incident- let's give them a chance. they look it over and tell him it needs a $5400 repair- or $8k for a new motor- OR they offered to buy it from him and get him into something new. Under that assumption they quoted him $420.(just for diagnosing it.) tried showing him some trucks but wouldn't really work to get him into what he wanted- after deciding not to buy a vehicle from them, they up the charge to $581 on the day he comes to pick it up- with no additional work done! not to mention "Wes" was a complete Jerk to him on the phone after he wanted to know why the price went from $420 to $581. Maybe if you're buying a brand new vehicle they might treat your "well" and fluff you up but DONT come here looking for honest reliable customer service!! You wont get it! Carter county you were shady then and you're still shady. I tell people every chance I get to avoid this place at all costs! read more

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! Nick Antensia "sales manager" dragged mne along for weeks claiming the car I wanted to buy was good to go. I gave a deposit and after a couple weeks he tells me "Oh sorry sir we sent the car to auction." ??? I gave a deposit on a vehicle that they then sent to auction???? I finally got my money back but I'd recomend not wasintg you time and dealing with sleazy carter county dodge. *update: The salesman called me and repeatedly swore at me. Made the HORRIBLE mistake of contacting them to inquire about a used vehicle they had listed on Auto.com. These people will not leave me alone! I have repeatedly un-subscribed from their emails and in the NUMEROUS phone calls I have repeatedly told them I am not interested in purchasing a vehicle because I bought elsewhere and won't be buying anothet for at least six years. I have been polite until now, but no more. They call you late on a Friday evening, but their sales person Jennifer doesn't want to talk to you on her day off though she called you on her personal phone and you just want to again tell her to get your name off her list. Had my suspension serviced in a Jeep Grand Cherokee which is adjustable air ride. After 3 weeks and thousands in parts that weren't the issue being replaced I got the car back and found the fuse that is specific to the pump, that I gave them to install in the first place, left in the box. plugged into the fuse box and everything works. won't refund even though I kept all the old parts to put back in. Whoever worked on the car either can't read to follow instructions or is extremely careless. they would rather buy parts and install them until something works instead of doing any troubleshooting. read more

Would NOT recomend ! I went just to look at jeeps advertised to drive and consider for future purchase. They had none of the jeeps on the lot, only one out of my price range. They did not listen when told repeatedly I needed to wait to review my financial position and options of cars in my range. After the dealer returned from looking at my car for trade in value he said it had broke down leaving me stranded there. After a 5 min test drive in a lower priced car I still said I needed to see if I could afford it. The salesman agreed to let me demo car and return in the morning. But instead I just got the manager also trying to convince me to make a purchase. After that and hours of high pressure sales tactics I ended up signing a deal I wasn't ready for and payments I can't afford. The next morning I went back and again explained I didn't think I could afford the car. They would not allow me to cancel the contract. I was told by the salesman they would allow me to trade for a lower priced car. He said to keep the car and demo over the weekend and review my financial situation and they would hold the paperwork. When I returned monday and confirmed it was more than I could afford and asked about something cheaper I was told it was already a done deal and I could only do a regular trade in and new purchase and would only get trade in value not what I had just paid. When I confronted him about being lied to he said he did not recall making those statements. In addition I later found that the car I was sold was listed on a site for over 2k less than the top $ price they sold it to me for. I feel this dealer uses unethical hi pressure sales tactics and practices. I have purchased numerous vehicles over the years from dealerships in 2 other states and have never experienced anything like this! read more

Drove almost 2 hours one way to look at a car that was "sitting right in front" of the dealership. Sat for 2 hours while they "tried to find the vehicle", "one of the other salesmen loaned it out to a customer getting service, and we are trying to find out who has it", and "it is over at the Hyundai lot getting an oil change because our shop was too busy to handle it". After 2 hours of lying and excuses, we left. Don't ever expect these folks to have what they show on their site or state they have over the phone! read more
