While waiting in the lobby, we observed a staff member spend approximately 45 minutes with another patient while we were left unattended. After we eventually left, the office claimed they were "looking for us," which did not align with what we experienced. When I tried to explain how upsetting and stressful this situation was--especially given my mother's age--I felt my concerns were not taken seriously. Matters worsened when I later called back to request my mother's medical records and was abruptly hung up on. Upon calling again, the first response I received focused on the cost of releasing records rather than patient care. Cost is not the issue. Respect, professionalism, and trust are. We have already invested significant time and money seeking appropriate care for my mother, and this experience made it clear that this practice does not meet the standard we expect for a vulnerable elderly patient. I will be transferring my mother's care elsewhere. I would not feel comfortable entrusting this practice with a loved one's medical care, and I am concerned that this level of staff conduct is acceptable within the office. I will file a complaint with the medical board for staff conduct. I will direct them to all of the bad reviews here on Yelp. Believe them!!
