And if it is, I consider it UNETHICAL. 2. DOCTOR only performs the PORTION of the exam where your eyes are dilated (considering the other cost-cutting measures, I wouldn't be surprised if EC&SC uses off-brand drops too, my eyes were uncomfortably blurry, not just dilated, for hours afterward). 3. DOCTOR dismissed my question about a part of the exam I felt was missing. My former eye doctor gives a thorough test in that area and tells you exactly what your options are. 4. They make you fill out a ridiculously long online form. 5. The staff I dealt with were indifferent. 6. The in-house optician (or maybe another assistant?) gave me a dirty look when I asked for my Rx and has a laughingly small selection of frames anyway. I am going back to my original optometrist/optician, who, despite now being 45 minutes away (I moved a year ago) and a bit quirky, at least cares about his clientele.

Through yelp, I found this place and read some positive reviews of Dr. Lee. I made an appointment for myself and two kids and we all had our eyes examined by Dr. Lee. He's friendly and I never felt rushed through our appointments. He made sure to answer all questions and concerns. When our exam is done, we have the choice to get our prescriptions written and head out to another place to shop and shop here directly. Honestly, I knew I needed the Asians fit so I browsed around to see what they have on stocked. It didn't take too long for me to fit 'the one' pair of frame. It was light weight, cute and fits my face perfectly. The best part is the frames are reasonably priced compared to my other Asian fit frame I purchased in north jersey. 20% discounts are given to customers who doesn't have insurance for frames and yes, unfortunately that applies to us. I'm happy with my glasses and so is my son. For my daughter, there were no change in her eyesight exam which is great as she can still wear her existing pair. It's not a walk in the park and the second time was more harsh than the second and yes there is aftercare -- lots of eye drops! The procedures were about a half hour each. The actual cutting was just a minute or two. It's far more strange than painful. Then it's over. However, it's been 3 years now and it still is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Dr. Wasserman is INCREDIBLY kind, steady, patient, and knowledgeable. His staff is quick to remedy any issues that come up. I've been going back for eye checkups there ever since. Office is clean. Wait times are reasonable. Location is perfect. When she wasn't cooperating (because she's just over a year old and had been waiting for over an hour) he was getting more and more frustrated, stopped the exam, told me nothing was wrong and to try again in 3-4 months the when my daughter was a bit more cooperative. From the beginning I've always been impressed by the quality of care and services rendered by all doctors and staff. The office environment is bright, clean, modern, and inviting. They used to have a Keurig coffee station in the waiting room (before COVID-19). I believe that Dr. Corbin-Simon is the owner which would make this optometry practice a M/WBE. Highly recommend the added services to screen for eye health even though these services are not traditionally covered by insurance. OptoMap ($39) looks at the back of the eye, and iWellness ($39) looks at the layers of the eye. I requested both for a discounted price of $59. I found the optomap reading to be very thorough and illuminating although, but iWellness was not so simple to understand.
