The cashiers have masks on but not covering their mouth or nose, so no point in having them on. One cashier directed everyone to use the floor markers to stay 6 feet apart, however the closest marker to the first customer is roughly 4 feet at best. 2 of the three cash registers have a barrier, and as expected the one without a barrier was the one in use. On a good note, hand sanitizer and masks are available at the entrance. read more

I came in to buy a few new sleeveless blouses for work. For some reason I've never had good luck with the rest of their stuff. I can't seem to find jeans here that fit right and their shirts seems to cut too low and too long....but their sleeveless blouses work great for work. The best of all they can be washed and lined dried. Run a steamer through them and they scream "winner" the best of all they're usually $15-$20. So you can spend $100 for 4-5 of them and still have money left over to eat out...hurray! read more

First I want to state, that I am huge on kindness and professionalism. I have worked retail before so I understand that some days may be difficult but I feel like my experience today was by far the worst experience ever. I was standing in line, one guy was ringing people up, and I noticed the line was getting pretty long. An associate (Jazlin) was doing go backs, I asked her if she was ringing up people as well and she looked at me with the rudest look and said "no" super aggressively. I said okay and left it alone. The guy next to her, whom I'm assuming was the manager asked her to hop on the registers. I said "yes please and thank you" so I go up to Jazlins register and as I'm going to put my dress down, she snatches it from me. I was so appalled. I said "oh we are snatching things from people" and she proceeded to tell me that I was rude for asking if she was ringing people up? The manager jumps in asking if there's a problem when I clearly stated that she aggressively snatched an item from my hand. He was not very helpful but I do appreciate him asking her to hop on a register. In my head, I thought it would be common sense to see a line getting long and want to jump in and help your coworker. Jazlin was rude and unprofessional. I don't care how old she is, she needs to learn some respect. I will never go into this store again. Disappointed in the lack of intelligence and professionalism. By the way, when she snatched the dress from me, all rage came out and that's when I got rude back to her, because she's at work and being rude to a customer. The associates here are nice and courteous. What I've discovered is that the promotions this location might have might be different than at the other location I frequent (Buford). Although this location is a tad smaller than the Buford one, it isn't shabby. Overall this location isn't bad. Service is friendly. The selection isn't too limited. The store isn't messy. Honestly never sure why I come in here in hopes of ever having a good experience. It's always a wreck, the checkout line takes 10 minutes (on a good day), and the workers are just absolutely miserable. Seriously, they close their dressing rooms on a Wednesday afternoon at 5pm with 0 warning whatsoever, while the workers are just sitting around in there doing nothing. And by H&M, I do *not* mean the craptastic tshirt slinging wannabe that masquerades under the same name at Atlantic Station. ::shudder:: While this location does not come close to comparing to the gorgeous two-story meccas I became accustomed to in DC, it is far and above better than anything else we've got in the Southeast. They certainly don't have everything (a men's section is notably absent), but they've got a decent mix of professional, casual, and nighttime apparel. Oh, and a TON of accessories, which is a large part of my undying love for H&Ms designers. On a recent trip I nabbed a total spring wardrobe update for about $85. You just can't beat that, even with the cost of gas to go so far OTP. read more

The buzz around this place has been amazing. Driving down 85 you see the huge billboard announcing it's arrival. Well, it's finally here! North Point Mall has opened up Atlanta's first installment of H&M. This one is a women's only store but, men, don't get too sad because a men's & women's store is opening up soon in Atlantic Station. (July, I think) The North Point location reminds me of the H&Ms in NYC. Just a little less crowded and the music isn't quite as loud. The mannequin's are dressed in the latest styles which are easy to find on the sales floor. They sell trendy dresses, shirts, and accessories. I found the cutest hat for really cheap. Now, the security is out in full force. They were at every door and throughout the store. Probably because of the grand opening. It's a cute store to shop at if you're looking for inexpensive trendy clothes. Again, the buzz is huge here so the lines are going to be pretty long for a while. Try shopping during the week to have more time and space to browse. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I had a horrible experience here. Long story short, I was returning something and the cashier messed something up so we had to get the manager involved. This whole ordeal took an hour. I get it, mistakes happen, that's not what I was frustrated about even though the process being that long was ridiculous. The manager, Mallory, was the most unprofessional retail employee I've ever interacted with. She was rolling her eyes, not looking at me, grunting/and sighing out of annoyance the whole time she was trying to fix the issue they made. It was so ironic. They mess something up, therefore the manager has an attitude with me? This didn't make any sense what so ever. As soon as the problem was resolved, she threw the receipt at me and didn't say a single word. No apology for the long mistake they created. Not to mention, I missed my appointment because of how long this took. I cannot believe she's a MANAGER let alone working in retail at all. She seemed to be 20 years old with a maturity and sass of a 10 year old. The cashier however, was nice. I'm still in such disbelief of how I was treated by the manager Mallory. She was horrible. I took Falicia's advice and went on a Thursday at around 2:30PM. Although the weekend probably looks a lot worse, it was still pretty thick on this particular Thursday afternoon. Now that the kiddies are out of school for the summer, H&M is sure to be out of control. Anyway, I was extremely focused. I went straight through Macy's without stopping to get to my beloved Hennes & Mauritz. I almost veered toward Forever 21, Bakers and Macy's shoe department on my way out, but I was strong! H&M was all I wanted and needed. I walked in and instantly lost my mind. The fitting room line was a country mile long (well, not really...but it was too long for a fitting room line) so I scoured the store TWICE for everything I wanted to try on. I love that they let you take as many items into the fitting room as you like. The prices were pretty good, they have really cute/unique pieces, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The check-out line was nowhere as long as the fitting room line. I ended up purchasing three shirts, a clutch, two hats and a dress. And I still want more! The Rush Hour traffic I got stuck in on 400 and 285 was so worth it. I will most definitely be back. read more

I needed affordable but nice clothing for work on an event team where we have to look nice but since we are moving a lot of furniture inside and outside, they have a high chance of getting ruined. I went here and found some pants that were good but when I asked an employee a question she looked at me like I was dumb and wasting her time. I had asked if something was on sale. It wasn't but everything around it was so I didn't know if I missed a sign. When I went to check out I found out that the pants on the 9.99 rack were actually 12.99 and I asked why. She said it was 9.99 and up. Even though the signs all just said "9.99" and nothing else. I still got the pants and they lasted a few work days but don't plan on shopping in store here again. read more

Most of the people that commented on this store say that they were disappointed with it because of its size and because it was so busy. The Atlantic Station store was supposed to be the first store that opened up but got set back because construction- the North Point store is supposed to be a secondary store to the Atlantic Station store. I think if you keep that in the back of your mind it makes the shopping expectations a little bit more realistic. With that in mind, yes the store is smaller. Yes it does not carry men's, children's or the designer collections (which I am personally very sad about. I was planning on getting some of the Marimekko items myself). Yes the fitting rooms are TINY, but I must admit that ever since the Atlantic Station store opened, shopping at the North Point store has been fantastic. There are no lines. The store is remarkably cleaner than it was during the first few weeks and they have much more of their clothes in stock. If you want the shopping experience that you had in NYC H&M, I would highly recommend going to the Atlantic Station store. If you are just looking for some cute, inexpensive outfits to wear to work or out on a Saturday night, H&M at North Point will be a great store for you. Also keep in mind that if North Point or Atlantic Station seem a bit far from you, they are also opening locations at Mall of Ga and Town Center. So keep your eye out! read more

My first H&M experience was in New York. It was love at first shop. Over the years, our love matured. I met H&M Spain, and our love only grew. So when I learned we were getting H&M in Atlanta, I was bouncing off the wall excited. I wanted to cry when I saw the sad little store in North Point mall that is supposedly H&M. It made Charlotte Russe look like heaven. It was SUCH a disappointment. Tiny, and clothing not what you expect of H&M. I went to New York just after it opened, and as I walked around the New York store, I only saw ONE thing that the stores had in common. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because I at least found some cute and cheap sunglasses there tonight. But I still think that it is a disgrace to put the name H&M over that store. Can I just say I was among the first 50 that walked into this Northpoint Mall store? As such, I scored a gift card and a cool, huge, black canvas bag for free that can be used as a beach bag. I also got to walk down their "red carpet". How cool is that? I love this place for their inexpensive yet hip clothes. I used to have to visit my brother in NYC to shop at H&M or worse, I'd send him txt messages with photos to get me the pieces that I want so he can ship it to me. He was so relieved to find out they're now in Atlanta and he doesn't have to shop for me. Tops and skirts for less than $20 can't be beat. And the staff here at Northpoint are the best in customer service. read more

I'm very concerned about the treatment I received on August 21,2017 at the H&M in North Point Mall in Georgia. I was originally in that Saturday prior with my daughter because we were going to a party later that evening se we decided to sop by to pick up a couple things. I stopped by the following Monday to return some items I didn't wear. The sales rep which I'm assuming was a manager, because he was training someone, was horrible. First, when I arrived I forgot my receipt in the car. So as I was telling him I needed to run back to my car to get it. His response was please take your things with you because I don't want to be held responsible for them. It wasn't what he said it was his tone and body language that I didn't like. First off I wasn't even trying to leave my things with him. I returned from my car with my receipt and he and trainee started processing my return. As he's showing a trainee how to process the return and he makes the comment "when I process a return I make them wait while I put the censors on each and every item. If they want to make a return then that have to wait." Again, he has very unprofessional and just had a bad attitude for no good reason. First off I don't mind waiting, but what about the other customers. I felt like he just had no consideration for anything or anybody. I'll never shop at that location again and really reconsidering H&M altogether. read more

The worker tried to remove the security tag from a shirt I was wanting to purchase and ripped it! She didn't even apologize for ripping the shirt I wanted to purchase and then demanded that I go grab another one and "hope that it is in my size". All in all I managed to pick up some cute tank tops and skirts( I found the tops to be a bit challenging ..ladies If you are well..mmm.. a lil more endowed in the front you might have a problem finding tops) There is also not a men's section in this store, but in the back they have a lil "teeny-bopper" type area. Spent some time in other stores desperately trying to find dress pants that fit. I just came into H&M and found not one, but three pairs in different styles. I only needed one, but decided to get all three, since finding a pair of pants that fit is really hard for me. As for the associates there, two or three men on the floor at the time, all were incredibly nice and their service/helpfulness was above and beyond what you would expect from associates nearing the end of their shift. I don't really enjoy shopping - it can be frustrating at times, but their great attitudes and kindness definitely made my night better. Thank you! read more

The sales representatives in this store apparently do not care if they make a sale. Wanted to buy a sweater from this store yesterday but could not find my size. Just so happened the mannequin is wearing the sweater I want to buy so asked if they can check if it's my size. Without actual checking, they told me it's also not my size. As I was walking out, I decided to check it myself and found the sweater is my size. Walked back to the desk and told them it's my size so can I buy it. The sales rep was not happy and told me I would have to put it on hold because they just can't take the sweater off the mannequin. Really!!!!
