My wife and I were bummed when the Woolrich Outlet in North Conway NH closed. THEN we found out that the long-time manager of the store opened his own shop in the village to keep the product line in town! He has a super location in the village, which makes it fun to get out on the town. The product line is also much more than just Woolrich. Names like Acorn, Royal Robbin and ArborWear completely compliment the Woolrich line of what we call "comfort clothes". In fact, the owner, Matt introduced me to Arborwear's heavy over-shirts, which are now my favorites. I also noticed that they keep their prices as low as anywhere else including the catalog. Highly recommend a visit to The Rugged Mill on Main St. in North Conway NH!

Today I was looking at kids' books and there was a clerk stocking shelves within my sight. After a minute he said hello so I turned and asked if he was speaking to me and he said no, he was speaking to the man who just walked in the door. So apparently he can see a guy 40 feet away but not an older woman 5 feet away. Sigh.... Oh and after asking another clerk I found they didn't have what I wanted anyway.

I am not kidding when the first time I did a shopping session I teared up in the dressing room because for the first time, every thing just FIT because Janet and Amanda picked out exactly what would look good on me. More importantly, they were the first to show me about SPANX... the love fest continues. They will even ship to you direct if you need it, I fell in love with a coat and they remembered, sent a personal email, and shipped it right to my office in Cambridge with no extra charge. No where can you get customer service like that.
