Buckle has a 60 day layaway program. most layaway programs I am familiar with, are only 30 days. Of course when you participate in any layaway program, you have to pay a small percentage towards the purchase to hold the clothes, and make scheduled payments, and of course, once your done paying, you get your clothes. With buckle the same is true, but with their program, it's pay as you go. You can pay as much or as little within the 60 days your clothes are on layaway, AND, if you want to get one or two peices of clothing items early, then all you have to do is pay the full price of that particular item. As you purchase your items, you get your buckle punch card punched for every ten dollars you use to purchase buckle stuff. Great deal huh? I have been using this program over the last couple of months, when I found out about it, I tried on every single item I on that I liked, purchased what I couldn't live without, and put the rest on layaway. I didn't have to comprimise choose which item to do without so that I wouldn't blow the bank, I got everything I wanted... in increments.

I had a cashier attempt to upsell me on their promotion of the day (which is totally fine I understand it's their job to do) and I honestly wasn't interested in getting a bunch of product I didn't want even if it saved me some money. Initially I told her I wasn't interested politely but she continued to push so I conceded and decided to take a look at the promotion options which happened to be body sprays. I picked out one that I thought was decent and I brought it up to the counter and she continued to tell me that I needed two for the promotion. I again told her I wasn't interested and to just put the body spray away and that I was fine with spending the regular amount for what I actually wanted. This cashier continued to press over and over to me the promotion after I had told her I wasn't interested multiple times. A customer shouldn't have to reject a sales associate more than a couple times to get the point across. I eventually got mad and told her to stop because at that point I was mad that she wasn't listening to me. I don't appreciate pushy sales associates sometimes a no is a no and you have to respect it! I came in to do a return and they were so helpful asking what was wrong, making sure I could get the correct size in time, and helping me get my return finalized. Their shoes are pricier than the outlet, but the selection here is incredible! Especially for as small as the store is. They have the best toddler size shoe selection I've ever seen too. Plus they run promos where if you spend x-amount of money you can get x-amount off a future purchase, so there's still great deals to score here. I'd definitely come back to this location!

If you like shoes that range in color and style and are comfortable, Vans may be worth a look. They are also VERY durable (I mean, they were created for Skateboarders!). I've been wearing Vans for 8 years ... ever since I found their outlet up in the mountains. As for this store, it seems to have more style than the others. I love the Jay Howell artwork (the guy who animated the characters in Bob's Burgers). As with the other mall locations, they're a little more pricey than at the Outlet.
