I spoke to Griffin at the Cartridge-Network during a call-back on Feb 9, 2023 regarding toner for our brother multi function printer. After a very knowledgeable conversation about the quality and capacity types of cartridges, he stated that he had a deal for me...2 original manufacturer cartridges (TN433-BK) in damaged boxes (cosmetic only) for $68.95, I stated I would pick them up this week, Griffin said he would make a note so that others would know about the offer in the event he was not present. When I arrived at the store on February 13th with my notes, Griffin stated that he would not honor the price he quoted last week, the price would be higher but still less expensive than I could find elsewhere. If there was an honest pricing error made, he could have contacted me to let me know or at the very least apologized for the error, neither occurred. Bait and Switch comes to mind....... I needed a new printer for my home office, I went to Cartridge Network on the recommendation of a friend. They help me explore several alternative printers. Their knowledge and huge selection of printers in their store was impressive! and gave me the advantages and disadvantages of each model. I picked out a new printer at a very good price compared to Office Depot where I had gone to before going to Cartridge Network. This is the only place that really knows printers and cartridges. They're honest and have excellent prices. There's usually only one person working so you don't get bombarded with inexperienced salespeople, but that also means you may have to wait a few minutes for help; it's definitely worth it! I called for help with a printer malfunction from a printer that I bought from them. They said "It is hard for me to want to help you because you buy your ink from Amazon". He repeatedly said this despite the fact that we have bought ink from him in the past and have been a customer for 5 years+. He then went into detail that he didn't make money on printers so it is a slap in the face if I buy ink somewhere else. His technical person walked out and he doesn't know when he is coming back to work. I explained the last time I bought ink from him two of the cartridges didn't work and I was met with adversity over this as well. Unbelievably bad customer service and completely unnecessary. If you just go into the world wanting to help without looking at every conversation as a transaction not only will your customers feel better but you will be more successful. read more

AVOID the verbal abuse of customers...After 3 years and $229.75 spent as a dedicated customer, I was forced by the HORRIBLE customer service attitude to take my business elsewhere. They say three things in business: Price, Product, or Service "which 2 of 3 do you want?". Well...Service for sure NOT one (based on poor attitudes of Owner and staff), Product VERY questionable since my Toners never DID last as long as the ones bought from their competitor, so I guess we are left with just Price. Yes, may have a good price but WAY not justify the outright verbal abuse when you visit their Retail store. My advice to them? I have been a customer for about 8 years. I was having a ton of issues with the inkjet cartridges I was buying from the big online Am@zon. Every HP printer we had in the offices was giving error messages and were basically dead. Cartridge Network sold me a set of cartridges and BAM!!! the printers came back to life. Since then, I've purchased a few laser printers from them and all the cartridges for the inkjet printers. They know printers better than anyone else. They know each brand and the problems that plague that brand... the strengths and weaknesses of each brand and will only sell you the equipment that you need rather than "upsell" you something you'll never use. Cartridge Network is one of only two places I really consult about printing matter anymore, the other being the interwebs any time I need a printer driver upgrade. I wish I had known about this place before I bought my last printer, but that printer is now some ten years old and having some paper handling issues so the next time I get one it'll be here. My main contact there, Griff, is personable and very knowledgeable about the products. He is quick to pull up necessary information for making a printer or cartridge decision such as per page costs, and I have found his per page cost calculations to be pretty much spot-on. He supplies the toner and ink cartridges for my office, and the remanufactured and compatible cartridges he sells us save us quite a bit off buying OEM cartridges at the big box stores. Came in to buy a printer that was listed online (Craigslist) for 300-475 depending on what it comes with. When I asked how much the one they had out was they told me it was $450, and suggested it was bc the cartridges were virtually full. I pulled them out and none other than the black ink were even close to half way full. I then asked what the price would be without ink and they said they weren't able to do that, they include cartridges with purchase. I said ok, then I asked to see the 300$ one and they informed me all their models were 425, 450 and 475. I asked the salesman why they would have it listed at 300$ if there are none near that price range and I suggested it sounded like a bait and switch scam. The sales person smiled and said that's our price. Seemed like an extremely shady/untrustworthy business if you ask me. Would suggest not going anywhere near this place. read more

I want to say my recent experience with the clerk at Beaverton-Hillsdale Cartridge Network store was less than satisfactory. I purchased replacement black and color cartridges and took home to insert in my printer. After installing them I was unable to print anything. After several attempts and much frustration I returned after a few days for new cartridges. In my haste to return I mistakenly brought back the empty black cartridge and needed to made another trip home and back again. The clerk was very unfriendly and scolding for my damaging the cartridges during my efforts to succeed inserting. My husband and a friend tried to help too. I had an important event over the weekend for which I needed to print documents and was unable to so. His manner was condescending, sanctimonious and unfriendly. I wish I had heard 'I'm sorry you had difficulty with this, it can happen' He was clearly putting blame on me. My husband and I have purchased many cartridges over the last 5 years and never been treated so disrespectfully. I will not return to this store. read more
