Tualatin store is acceptable inside and the staff is civil, sometimes friendly. But Staples is worthy of only one star due to lack of availability. I write this at 5:20 p.m. on a Sunday. I could have written it yesterday at 7:04 p.m. I was foolish enough to attempt to shop at Staples at those times. Of course, Staples is not open at 5:20 p.m. on Sunday. Staples is not open at 7:04 p.m. on Saturday. My work schedule precludes me from attemtping earlier shopping visits to Staples. It's not as if I'm expecting them to be open late at night. We went here to shred some old documents. While the staff were very nice, the price of shredding is 50% more than going to UPS where it cost a dollar a pound. Staples charges $1.50 a pound. If you have the time, and need shredding done, go to UPS instead. $20 for a brown paper bag of documents was more than we anticipated. read more

I used this service twice lately for same-day flyers. The quality was perfect, they were ready for pick up the same-day and there were no shipping or handling charges. Better yet, the price was about HALF of the quick printing companies that pay google to be at the top on searches. Those companies trick you: They may print it the same day but it will be a week or so before your order arrives and you have to pay hefty shipping charges. You don't find out when it will arrive until the very end of your purchase process. I found Staples at Jantzen Beach even had nice friendly folks. Great experience! read more

In the Tualatin, OR store at Hedges Green today. I asked if they would meet the online price for computer ink. Said yes. Since I walked over from where I live about five minutes away, all I'd brought with me was a card to pay. When I went to pay the two customer service people told me they wouldn't give me the online price unless I could prove it. "We can't just take your word for it." They were surrounded by computers and no doubt had cell phones. In the past I haven't had any problem with getting a price match. These two shrugged and acted like it wasn't their problem. I came home and ordered online from another company. Been shopping there for 6-7 years. Now I'll rethink it the next time I need anything. read more

RUDE AND DONT RESPECT THE CLIENT'S TURNS. I went to this specific Staples on Tualatin to print a poster. Despite there being no clients when I arrived, the two employees left me waiting. They assisted three other people without providing any explanation and neglected to work on the file I sent at 4:06 pm. I waited until 4:30 pm while observing them help others who arrived after me. When we attempted to speak to the manager, he was absent. The employees, particularly the person in charge, seemed unbothered and rude. I suspect they might be racist, as there's no other reason for them to act as if I were invisible, especially since it was evident I'm Latina, given that I was speaking Spanish with my family. Shame on them; I have never experienced such an uncomfortable situation. I left the store sad and very upset, and they continued unbothered; I never received an apology or nothing. I go there maybe a half dozen times a year or so, and have been going there since they opened a bunch of years ago. It's convenient and is a good place to get supplies like paper, pens, pencils, shipping supplies etc. The customer service is actually really good. I always get asked by an associate if they can help me, and when I do need help, they offer quality help, whether that be just telling me where to find something, or offer some help figuring out what will fill my needs. I'm really glad we have this store locally, and that they've "hung in there" in tough times. read more

To slow and too expensive to make the trip worth it. All I needed was a pen. Just one. Found my pen quickly and got in line. The one cashier was on the phone. So I waited and waited. Then he finally hung up and some guy cut in front of me. I left my pen and walked out. Funny thing is that three employees were just standing there watching me wait!?!? How one customer service employee can ruin you're shopping experience. I was looking for a nice home office leather chair for my husband's birthday. On my way to the chair area I was asked if I need any help. While I was trying out the chairs I was asked again by someone else. "No, not yet. Thank you." I am not and expert on office chairs and I could not get them to rock. Turning the tension the chairs would not budge. I was ready for help now. I went up front so they could call someone to assist me and answer my questions. Gentleman came within minutes. No hello, no smile. "How do I get the chair to rock?" He sat in one and giggle the lever and it rocked. Great! I was interested in three chairs and I wanted to see how easy it was to get them to do the same. He sat in the others and pulled or pushed the lever to make them move a little. He didn't bother to tell me how or what he was doing to get them to move. "How do I get these to rock like the first one?" "These just don't, that's it." he answered. Either he didn't now about the tension or it was too much trouble to show me. I wanted him to go away at this point. I felt like he had things to do and helping me with office chairs was not one of them. Like a kid told to do something and they will do it half way with attitude. I told him thank you and he left. No you're welcome, no smile, no whatever. Not really knowing what I was doing, I turned the tension on these chairs till they started rocking. Can't tell me he didn't know this. read more

Hello staples! I want to say thanks for nothing! Tonight I stopped in at 530 and waited for five minutes to see service at the copy center. The gentleman at the front called out a few times but alas it was easier to find a card holder than get the attention at the copy counter. Finally i was met by a young man who let me know they had a large job and would not be able to assist me today. Problem here is that all five copiers were not working. Having spent 15 years in the industry it was fairly easy for me to see this. I let him know I would check with kinko's who was happy to have a bigger customer walk in at the end of the day. Based on our age and pre-existing health conditions, my spouse and I were advised to avoid entering stores during Oregon's COVID-19 "stay at home" orders. We telephoned the Tualatin Staples Store on May 13th seeking advice on a variety of questions as we're preparing to host a virtual Baby Shower. We had questions regarding invitation designs, paper supplies, printing options, and shipping costs. We were referred to April, the store manager, who warmly invited us to drive by the store. Once there, she joined us outside to chat at Curbside Pick-up. She was knowlegable, creative, and efficient as she helped with each issue. I think I like Staples better than the other office supply joints that are closer. Went there yesterday to pick up a few things and they had everything I needed and were super friendly and helpful. And they take Apple Pay, which is really good because I had forgotten my wallet!! They say they fix computers but don't believe it for a second unless you know how to fix it yourself. I went in here with a virus scam saying my computer was locked by the FBI. The guy at Staples told me they would have to wipe out everything on my computer and start over for a rediculous price. When I said I didn't want to start over and lose everything, he said they couldn't do help. If I wanted to lose everything, I could have done a factory resotre myself by pressing F11 and that would be free. I was looking for someone to not do more damage than the virus. To whom it may concern, Walking into Staples today and was approached by what appeared to be the manager pushing an empty hand truck, when I asked him If I could get some printing done, he looked at his watch and told me he didn't have anyone coming in until 9am and I had to wait. Hoping to get my Resumes and cover letter printed today (its was 8:32am on Wednesday the 20th of January 2016). I WALKED TO FEDEX NEXT DOOR. Such better service, quick simple and cheap. I am not the type of person to post negative ratings, in fact I hate when people blow smoke for no reason, but this employee was definitely too busy for my business with his empty hand truck. Do yourself a favor, if you need more than just printing go to Fred Myer, Walmart or the closed Haggen 100% sure they won't just blame the schedule for lack of service. I'm giving this store 5 stars because of how they took care of a mistake they made. I took my 3 grandchildren of in to staples for back to school supplies. I like going to staples for school supplies because of their pricing and also variety. After arriving at home I realized they had charged me twice for an item. I called the store and spoke with Jake. I asked if he could refund the item over the phone. He gladly agreed and within minutes I had my refund without making the 8 mile drive back to the store in rush hour traffic! Not only that, but Jake emailed me my receipt and also added a kind note. I am overwhelmed by the quality of service from Staples. I will definitely be going back. Thank you, Staples!! read more

I brought in a pdf file on a zip drive, bought a package of card stock and she was able to get me out the door in just a few minutes. I went online and completed the job and sent it to the Tigard store only to find that Tigard's printer was down. I asked to transfer the job to Tualatin and so glad I did. Very unprofessional team in the copy and print center. Requested to get some banners made and they were not ready by the time promised. Had to wait for them to finish them and just to find out that they damaged one of them while attempting to put the grommets. The whole time they were just talking about how they avoided and cancelled other potential orders because they were too big. One of them even stated that if that order would've gone through she would call out sick. I had to wait for them to reprint and didn't even get an apology. I'm writing this review while I'm here standing just listening to how they can't wait for the day to end. I do not recommend this place. read more

Online to public, you can buy full protection for 99....if you purchase full protection thru Staples, they charge $199! Just came to purchase a thermal binder machine and it was literally dead in the place. I'm wheel chairing around looking for the machine. 6 employees walked by me or were talking to each other. Not one employee acknowledged me or said hello. And to make matters worse when leaving no one asked me at the front if I was able to find everything I was looking for. I see why this place is not busy. Very poor customer service. I could give better customer service even with being in a wheelchair. read more
