They even have office chairs, which they will assemble for a fee. They have a Copy/Print Center, which I have not used. The service is friendly. This does not even count as a complaint, but the store has a very "messy" feel to it. There are too many displays of varying heights. I live 90 minutes away, and this was on my must-do list for my trip to Chicago. I'm so glad that I finally made it here! When I was a child, I was completely obsessed with the scented Sanrio markers. Overtime, I discovered that I enjoyed journaling, and have been very selective regarding pens and paper. Atlas has it all. Maybe not Hello Kitty, grape-scented markers, but literally everything else that a nerdy pen-and-paper-obsessed person could want. I brought my 13 year old, for whom most things are *eyeroll* boring and she didn't want to leave. The washi tape and sticker area had her plotting collages and teen-angst journaling for days. For me, it was the ability to check out the pens. Of course they are known for the fabulous and gorgeous selection of fountain pens and ink. But I haven't gone down that rabbit hole yet. I am talking about the regular pens. Ballpoint, felt tip, colorful, plain, all sizes of points and inks and all wonderfully curated. And you can try them all. And here is the thing: for this level of service and attention you would think it would be too pricey, but it wasn't this is part of the reason I will keep coming back. No call, no email.......no communication. I went back today to see if there was another salesperson I can speak to, unfortunately they were closed.....it was Saturday. Is it normal to wait so long for a quote? I hate that I have to write this review, but something about the sales woman's approach towards me rubbed me the wrong way. It might just be in my head, but if six days have passed and no one has contacted me to follow up.....is it really just in my head?

When it's impossible to find an associate for help you have a problem. When it takes five minutes for someone to show up from the back room to check out customers then you have a huge problem. With such bad service here I can only assume that shrinkage (theft) is a huge problem. Not a good business model and not a good place to shop.

After waiting 30mins, employee came, and attended someone else, even after manager stepped in to indicate I was here, first. Decided to take her, and design a whole business card for her. I stepped in, and instead of reasoning with me, or at least turn the machine on, she tells me it's going to be sometime before she can assist me, as the machines were still off. Manager couldn't even handle a simple task of turning all machines on, not even the employee at the register could step in and turn them on, instead just on her phone waiting To be interrupted by someone like me. As she takes 30mins to actually attend me, 1hr later, its. As if this is her first day on the job, training is horrible starting with the manager, everyone should know how to step in. Then she ruins my order, instead of finding another solution, she just tells me what would be a better solution, it took her another hour to complete 3 prints, I was there for 2 hours with continuous mistakes. She saw me cry with frustration, still trying to assist other clients, in between, why can't they wait an hour like I did?! They have to find a better solution, sign in sheet, more employees, better training, manager should be fired.

#35/2024 This is not the office Max's of what they used to…read morebe This is more along the lines of a combining Staples and FedEx copy center together While they do still have a lot of the stuff they once carried a lot of the changes over here as far as home office kind of things. Service can be sketchy here at this Orland Park location it's a small location. I was asking about a particular style of a hanging file folder and I was met with blank stairs when they walked over to the folder section said nope we don't have them. (Insert big eye roll) So I proceed to walk a few miles over to where I saw the date planners everything else and voila look what was there the hanging file folders lol. It's okay in a pinch they stay open this one only till about 7:00 p.m. no longer 8:00 or 9:00. I don't really honestly know how much longer this location will be open it was like a ghost town when I came in. Pretty much anymore unless you want super geeky kind of office stuff you can find what you need at a cheaper price at Walmart or Target. Got to be honest and practical. but I'm leaving this at 3 stars because it does offer pretty much what they say as far as office and supplies etc but nothing stood out and well for the most part I guess you can say nothing really stood back so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt it really would be two and a half Stars
