And he saved me a lot of money by figuring out a way that I could completely eliminate one of the Comcast internet accounts in my building and get faster service in the process. Hired Twizted Home Entertainment through Thumbtack. I thought the team was generally good to work…read morewith while the install was happening, albeit a few issues here and there. However, later found out that there was substantial damage done to one of the speakers I had installed (MSRP $999/each). I reached out to the owner and was told there was no way their team could've caused that damage and to return my products to the vendor. Pictures show this is clearly not an issue from use, as the driver is pretty much shoved in on one side. Notwithstanding, some of the work was not performed as initially discussed (i.e. ethernet cables to cameras were run outside instead of through soffits/attics), and the team was quick to make holes in the ceilings and walls (which ended up being in the wrong places). Given how things have shaken out, I cannot recommend this company for any work. Let the work speak for itself in the photos and see the other reviews online regarding damage. The free work Ron mentioned is shown below with the one ethernet cable hanging from the side of the house. I paid in full afterwards, so if I had high expectations or demands that were "met," I think the highest expectation I had was for them not to damage the very thing they're installing. I actually have texts from Mo partway into the installation where he essentially told me to install things myself because he thought they were too valuable for him to install (which was part of the services I hired them for). Also beware of some of the other positive reviews, as one just popped up that of course mentions "no holes" for similar set up and the initials match one of the employees on Yelp (Mo N.), but on Google and Thumbtack it shows two different names altogether for the same review. Seems like they're padding the reviews and photos so you won't see the work they did at my home.... They're also now threatening me via text to stop updating my reviews for calling them out. There's been a handful of 5 star reviews in the last 24 hours after posting my review used some old photos from their Thumbtack and website (which they removed and replaced).

I was highly dysregulated (AuDHD…read moreHSP) when I treked out to Oak Brook from a hour away only to find out the store was closed for Thanksgiving despite the website and the entry on Google maps showing it was open. I missed time with family and my girlfriend for nothing because Google said the Google store was open when it wasn't. I let Marv know from the beginning that I was irritated and my partner was there to help me be better at peopling because when I get irritated I am less able to understand how allistic/non-autistic people will react to simple statements of fact. I have several times wound up in an "argument" because me simply stating the truth was taken as criticism/judgement. Because of my dyslexia processing and blindness to most nonverbal social queues, I'm constantly lost when dealing with sensitive interactions. Marv was great at accepting that my quirks aren't a personal attack. He listened, was compassionate, and really committed to doing what he could to remedy the situation but more importantly to make me fell heard. I'll never understand how a company with as much "intelligence" as google could f*** up so badly but one person being genuine made it go from "f that I'm done with them completely" to "yeah that sucked and no this doesn't fix it but it makes that pill easier to bear". The store sucks but if you're lucky enough to get Marv, you'll be in good hands.
