Accepted credit card for deposit but then refused to take credit card for balance. Nothing in writing states deposit is not refundable. Which he then claimed was the policy.... Nothing in writing states all sales are final. Which he then claimed was the policy... If you're buying a golf cart go to a different place that is a reputable company with clearly written policies!

This was my 2nd Tomberlin, replacing a 2008 4 passenger Emerge 4 w/ a new 2019 6 passenger Emerge 4. The new vehicle is awesome. My family loves it, and lots of positive remarks from neighbors in our community (which has a large number of golf carts). Tomberlin has really come a long way in the last 10 years (I think largely in part to having new ownership and being American made now). Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable, as I was debating between a few brands for my next vehicle. Chris shared good advice about selling my old vehicle. Even better, Chris had a great price on the new vehicle. I was a bit cautious about doing everything virtually. Chris was very responsive. The transaction went very smooth, all out of state over phone, email, and Facetime. Chris recommend how to secure cost effective transport with UShip, which solved of the friction points. Chris is a bit direct at times compared to your usual salesperson; I chalked this up to his shop is very busy with the good weather. Overall, we're very happy with the purchase and would recommend to others.

I waited 2 hours as they changed multiple parts & did not get it running. I simply said I was not interested in the cart at this point & if he'd just refund my deposit I would just walk away. He absolutely refused to refund my deposit. It's Jagoff's like this individual that keeps ppl from trusting online transactions. I simply wanted to find out when the repair would be finalized. Initially they said it might take up to two weeks. It's already been two weeks, and now they told me it might take up to three weeks, for a repair. I called them three days ago and they informed me that they will repair it that day. It's good to note that the repair on one of the mowers is for a line that they just installed and it started leaking after one use. I really did not appreciate the service experience. The owner should do a better job at training his employees in proper client service etiquette, especially for long time clients.
