I then spent weeks trying to get updates, with multiple calls to the service department going unanswered. When I finally reached them, I was told they still didn't know what was wrong and had no timeline for when it would be fixed. I understand that problems can happen with a new vehicle, but the lack of communication and customer service was extremely frustrating. After finally getting the cart back, it was delivered with multiple issues still unresolved. After repeated attempts to get the service department to respond, I eventually gave up and took the cart to another dealer. I shouldn't have to chase a dealership for weeks to get service on a brand-new golf cart. Based on my experience, I would think twice before purchasing from Beachside Golf Cars.

Upon arrival they were working on the cart desperately trying to get it running. He presented this cart to me as used & good condition. I waited 2 hours as they changed multiple parts & did not get it running. I simply said I was not interested in the cart at this point & if he'd just refund my deposit I would just walk away. He absolutely refused to refund my deposit. It's Jagoff's like this individual that keeps ppl from trusting online transactions. Do not do business with him & absolutely DO NOT give a deposit for anything. There is really no way of forcing a refund without going to court. I'm in Atlanta, just Not feasible. This was my 2nd Tomberlin, replacing a 2008 4 passenger Emerge 4 w/ a new 2019 6 passenger Emerge 4. The new vehicle is awesome. My family loves it, and lots of positive remarks from neighbors in our community (which has a large number of golf carts). Tomberlin has really come a long way in the last 10 years (I think largely in part to having new ownership and being American made now). Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable, as I was debating between a few brands for my next vehicle. Chris shared good advice about selling my old vehicle. Even better, Chris had a great price on the new vehicle. I was a bit cautious about doing everything virtually. Chris was very responsive. The transaction went very smooth, all out of state over phone, email, and Facetime. Chris recommend how to secure cost effective transport with UShip, which solved of the friction points. Chris is a bit direct at times compared to your usual salesperson; I chalked this up to his shop is very busy with the good weather.
