Obviously, this is going to be a review from slightly limited personal experience; however I have heard quite a few details and stories surrounding this place. This is due to a few friend's having grandparents either currently living in here, or having had lived in here at some stage.
The major appeal of this nursing home is that it is local and in a residential area e.g. not off the motorway somewhere far, far away which requires a car to reach without two and a half hours on public transport. Therefore, the location of this makes it extremely easy for family living relatively close by to pop in when it suits them (to a certain extent) and without too much time and hassle spent on travelling.
The other attractive element of this that is also related to the location is the fact that it is in a nice, residential building. It has relatively large windows, eye catching timber work which is prettily painted and red stand stone.
As for the service and price for their care - the service is much as you'd expect in any nursing home with small individual rooms as well as a few communal areas for recreational actives and dinning. Meanwhile, the prices are that bit extra due to the location, building and pretty (and comfortable) interior. read more
