Exceptional tree service! Cartwright is professional all the way. The estimate was priced a little better than 2 other bids, and they included all the insurance paperwork. No guessing if they are insured. Very pro! The tree crew worked fast! My very large tree was removed in 2.5 hours. However, they were very careful with the yard, fence, and house. Super pro! When finished, they cleaned up my yard, the neighbor's yard, and the street. My neighbor was very pleased with them. Will be hiring Cartwright next Spring for more tree work. read more

We were very happy with the crew from Cartwright Tree Care. They were professional, quick and thorough. We had two very old, large trees which have never been trimmed. They swooped through those trees in no time and cleaned up all the dead and broken branches. Trees look awesome now. Cleanup was amazing. We felt their bid was very reasonable. Felt secure with them as they are fully insured. At some point in 5 - 10 yrs, one of the trees will probably have to be taken down. Will absolutely call them again. We received an estimate to trim our tree. They came once and didn't complete the job. We called them and they came back and completed the job to my wife's satisfaction. Unbeknownst to us, our neighbors called Cartwright and wanted more branches cut off our tree. Cartwright never called us, showed up unannounced, came onto our property, and cut more branches off our tree. I suspect our tree will now likely die. I don't see how you do that without contacting the homeowner. We paid over $500 to have our tree trimmed and were happy. Now we are very unhappy. read more

We lost two very large walnut trees in our backyard. (About 30"diameter trunks.. yea that big) broke our hearts. Our stupid ass builder, Mike mackey killed them, another story... I contacted 4 tree cos, to give me estimates to take them down. Cartwright was second lowest quote, but Justin spent the most time explaining everything that was gonna happen, in taking down the trees. They were in the back yard, close to our new house, and about 30 feet tall. We weren't in a huge hurry to take them down, and in about a month later, they showed up to take down the trees. It was like an army appeared on the scene. 5 to 6 trucks, chipper, wood hauler, tree climbers, etc. In 2 hours, they were all done. And did a great clean up job. I highly recommend these guys. Cartwright Tree Service- Owner or manager of the company came out to give our neighbor an estimate on removing a large tree and trimming some of the branches from our tree that overhangs her property. He was extremely unprofessional, and antagonistic. My wife said he was extremely rude and dismissive. When she asked if he was an arborist, his response was why do you need an arborist to cut down a tree. She said because I am not cutting my tree down and need a recommendation/guidance on how to trim my tree so they (company) can clear our tree to take down the neighbor's tree. His response was I can do whatever I want to your tree because its over the neighbor's yard. While that may be true, there was no need for the rude tone and downright nastiness. He wouldn't even engage in a conversation. How do companies like this stay in business? Neighbors work together to solve issues. We don't need men like him to come in and starting issues where there were none. Would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

We have hired Cartwright twice to trim a tree and later to remove a large broken branch. They responded quickly, worked fast and left no trace of debris. We might have been able to find a lower bidder but we didn't mind paying for professionals. The prices were good in our opinion. Will be calling them again when we need more tree work. So disappointed at the service. They did get the couple of trees away from the house in the back ( ok great) but all the stuff they cut they just left, its a mess of dead limbs back there now, I dont think they carried anything away except just the few from the side. So they left it really ugly. Also on the tree in the front, they were supposed to take it off the road side but still leave the bottom to shade our view but they just took a few from under and we still have the trouble of trucks hitting the tree as they go buy. And importantly they didnt take any of the off shoots from the main part of the tree so its still has super heavy limbs. It was too much money for what they did and they were supposed to do and feel really let down. read more

Cartwright Tree, Matt and Cheryle are my go to calls when I have tree needs, either maintenance or storm damage. Latest event was large limb from oak tree onto my house on a Friday night. Saturday morning texted Matt and called and left message at office. Cheryle the owner called me before noon to explain that Matt was out of town on a family vacation to return on Tuesday, but asked if there were any emergency needs where she needed to get a crew out immediately. And, even though he was out of town on vacation, Matt called early afternoon to make sure someone had check in with me. Following week the tree cavalry showed up with 8 people, 3 large trucks and small. Full equipment needed to do the job on my 100 year old oak, and every effort made to save the tree and leave the yard spotless. I received a direct mailing advertisement for Cartwright Tree Care. Timing was good as a needed a tree specialist. I called and was told someone would call me that day or the next. I did not hear from them. I called to inquire and was told those services were sub-contracted out and they did not know why "the guy" did not call me back. I don't understand why people spend so much money on advertising only to neglect the customer. I am not crazy about the sub-contractor situation either and that not being disclosed to me. read more

We lost several big limbs in our backyard with the heavy snowfall this past weekend. We called Cartwright Tree Care and they were here within 48 hours. They arrived with a huge crew and removed all the broken limbs and another small tree in 15 min. After I accepted their bid and was on their schedule, I called regarding some additional work I wished to add. I spoke with 2 different people and was told they would notify the crew regarding my request. When I got home the work originally requested was completed, debris was picked up, overall a very good job. But the additional work requested was not done. I loved Pure Moving Company! I got an estimate on their website and scheduled an appointment. To be honest, I was a little bit nervous about my belongings getting lost or damaged, but everything arrived in great condition. Pure Movers, actually, called me early in the morning and asked if i want the crew to come earlier. That was even better for me so i agreed to 11am instead of 1pm. After the crew arrived, they got to the work immediately. The movers were super fast. I did not even have to lift a finger. The movers worked really hard and listened to what i asked them to do. I really appreciate all of their help. The movers really took care of my stuff, wrapped and secured everything safely. All in all, nothing was damaged at all! Fantastic! Pure Movers did an excellent job, packing, loading and unloading. If i ever need to hire movers i would definitely hire Pure Moving Company! No complains at all! read more

Being a tree lover it wasn't easy for me to make the decision to let someone take a saw to them. It was going to require a ridiculously steep level of trust. After a massive amount of research, I decided to have Cartwright come out, look at my trees, discuss with me their thoughts and give me an estimate. I loved that the representative listened to me, loved trees too, his job, and his company. The estimate was very reasonable for the work to be done. Not only did they complete the job as expected but other than limbs gone, I couldn't tell they had been there and this was a huge, complicated by other landscape, job. Additionally, they could see I fed the birds by the many bird feeders hanging from various branches and when the limbs were raised, reaching feeders was going to be an issue. Without my asking, small stubs of branches were left and feeders re-hung from them. A very thoughtful touch in this day and age where companies don't often consider the customer.
