I have been a regular customer at Hand and Stone for the last year and I have had only pleasant…read moreexperiences. I first booked a massage here after getting a recommendation from a friend. I have had 3 massages with Jessica and have been extremely happy with the service every time. For an extra charge you can have lavender added to the massage lotion and I love leaving with the delicate smell of lavender. I have purchased the eyebrow package and Alex is the aesthetician that I have booked with. Alex is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I would recommend her to my closest friends. I have a facial booked with her next month and I can't wait! The spa is clean, beautifully decorated, they have tea in the waiting room for before and after your appointment and the front desk staff are friendly with excellent customer service. They call you in advance of your appointment and I also get email reminders. For the massages I have had to book them one month in advance and during the December it was difficult to get an appointment but now I know to book sooner. They have membership options but I have purchased the 6 massage package and the 5 eyebrow waxing package and I find the prices to be reasonable. Great business if you are looking for a one stop shop for massages, facials and waxing!

They offer couples massage in the same room ! What a nice way to spice up your love life!…read more They offered (optional)warmed/heated beds and heated blanket if needed. I am always cold, so this was such a lovely little treat! And no extra cost. 5$ extra for aromatherapy, which was nice. Was it worth 5$? Kind of. I felt the masseuse ( male) did a really good job. Thorough. I felt he was trying to fix knots as opposed to just rubbing for relaxation. Which was what I wanted! He also explained which areas need to be stretched more often etc. This was important to me; I want to know how to improve my aches. Not just pay someone and then leave . I felt more educated after I spoke to him about my problem areas. The receptionist was also very nice. Professional. Informative and helpful. I will return !

But we just went in with socks. We were greeted by a lovely attendant at the front desk. We were offered cocoa and tea. I selected a lemon ginger tea. It was lovely while we waited. The place is serene, it's big and offers all kinds of services. We met with Claudine and had a lovely experience and even my teen said she was okay - which is saying a lot. If this was closer to our house I think I would explore many of their other services. They even offer reflexology. Lots of great things. We had a fantastic experience. Thank you.

I had a cut and style, and a pedicure and couldn't be happier with my experience and the results. Amanda cut my hair and gave me the best scalp massage I've ever had! It was also interesting to see how her scissors flew through my hair, cutting, snipping and sliding through the strands to work with my greying, wavy hair. It looks great and has been easy to recreate the style with a quick blow dry and a small amount of the recommended product - which I also bought. They will even refill the bottle for a 10% discount.! Ekatarina did my pedicure and her gentle touch and attention to detail, made for a relaxing and lovely experience. I will definitely be back!

My initial appointment was for myself and my daughter to get pedicures on the afternoon of Saturday…read moreNovember 1st, 2014. Upon arriving, the pedicure was fine. We had sat waiting for our toe polish to dry for 3-dryer sequences (as we were instructed) and afterwards one of the estheticians wrapped our feet in saran wrap and brought us our socks and boots. It did seem to be a rather quick time for polish to dry, but I trusted that the esthetician would most likely know better- assuming she had done this numerous times. After making the 20 minute drive home, my daughter and I both took of our boots/shoes to check the pedicure, and unfortunately all toes were smudged with larger chips from the tops of the toe nails. It was quite unpleasing to the eye and very disappointing considering I paid $75.00 each + tip. Understanding that these things do happen, I called and explained that the situation and rescheduled a touch up on November 7th. When we arrived the second time, we were told to find our nail color and then we waited for the estheticians to become available. One came out and told us to come to the spa chairs. I had mentioned to her that I was sorry that we had to return for the second time and she muttered under her breath "well, I'm sorry it smudged", sarcastically. I was surprised at her reaction, but tried not to read too much into it. We did not have the same two estheticians, as the one my daughter had originally was with another client. I had the same one. Neither smiled once throughout the entire polish nor made any attempt to speak with us. Their demeanor and body language was extremely negative and it was obvious that they were annoyed to be doing a touch up. My daughter's esthetician did not even remove most of the polish that was on previously and merely rubbed off the smudged part and slopped a bunch more coats back on to cover. They put us under the dryer and left us there, again for 3 dry sequences. Which was surprising considering 3 dry sequences wasn't adequate time in the first appointment. We sat for over 4 dry sequences when we decided that we would leave. No one came to check on us or speak with us this entire time, but the two girls could be heard chit chatting in the hallway. We starting putting on our shoes and one girl came in to help take off the foam sandals. My daughter wanted to keep the foam sandals on to prevent any possible scuffs; however her esthetician had put the sandals on the wrong feet. My daughter told the girl this and she chuckled before leaving the room and telling her friend (the other esthetician). After this interaction, the two girls laughed hysterically in the hallway until we got up and walked by to leave. Even then, they were suppressing laughter to the point that they could hardly mutter out a "good-bye". As we grabbed our jackets and things, the two girls could still be seen watching us, talking and laughing in the hallway. No one saw us to the exit or granted us any acknowledgment of leaving. Looking back, the entire experience was extremely unprofessional, unsympathetic and a costly waste of time. Even the second time around the pedicures were mediocre at best, which makes me want to puke considering (again) I paid $75.00 each for them AND went back a second time. It only adds insult to injury that the estheticians were annoyed and unfriendly.
