    I'm updating my yelp review, due to hopefully putting this whole situation behind us, we stood in front of a judge today, my faith & prayers were answered and this mega mind in ripping people off has been answered, Mr. Roberts has to pay for the repairs to our vehicle. People get the word out and stop this crook from staying in business DO NOT BUY CARS @ CARMART in National City,Ca. It has been a nightmare to work with this man. Thank you in advance for everyone who took the time to read & share. What could I say, I wish I was updating this review to tell you that there was a positive outcome, that Mr. Ben Roberts was willing to do the right thing. The night I wrote the first review he reached out and said to let's try to figure something out. That maybe he could get an approve to go 50/50 to have the car repaired, and I agreed to do it cause I wanted our repaired. But days went by and nothing. So I spoke to the auto repair shop where the vehicle has been and ask them to get me an estimate in writing so I could present to Mr. Roberts. So I reached out him again, and again til finally he reached out to me. I shared with him what the auto shop had given me. And they are had said they could repair the car with a used motor for $6,200 give us a year warranty on the motor and he declined and said "NO" we had to go through people he knew. The estimated he had was for $7,500, but didn't want to share where, how many mileage the motor had and won't provide nothing in writing, and he declined and starting yelling at me that I was too demanding and he was going to do it his way. ..and my response was that why we're in the situation were in because we trusted you the first time around with taking care of noise that the car had.(we didn't need in writing, we had his word) And his responded was it was out of courtesy. Lol. So I reached out to a place that would be willing to mediate between the two of us, because I could not tolerate how this person wants to continue to be disrespectful and pushy. I could not handle it anymore, along with mourning my loved ones (a niece, my grandfather and a very special family friend)...I didn't have the strength to continue basically begging him to take care of what should be done right the first time. And he declined working with them. After he declines he messages me again about the story of us racing the car home, on freeways we don't need to take to get home, shady of him and his so call call Mickey Mouse mechanics...I will definitively give you guys a update because this situation will have to be escalated to the next step...I hope people stay away from this place and hope there is a positive outcome for us like there was for them when we handed them a 14,500 check.....ty for taking the time to read.

    Super fast and great experience. I love my ol truck and we have been through a lot. Good times, bad times, fun times. Road trips, drive ins, picking up all my drunk friends being an uber driver before uber existed. Don't think my truck qualifies as an uber though. Too many band stickers on the back and it's dirty, and there's a dent on the side that I refuse to fix. Anyways, enough about my truck that nobody cares about, it's out with the old and in with the new, and this was the place to do it. I came here and got a very good price, good service and they even recommended an insurance company. The owner Ben knows what he is doing and he is very helpful, sometimes he is there, and staff is great as well. Maybe I can actually uber now that I'll have a snazzy new car :)

Great spot for an oil change and to have them keep an eye on anything else that might come up. They also have a massive lobby with a very small kids play area, which I have honestly never seen before. The attention to detail stood out, and it felt very family friendly overall. In addition to a wonderful purchasing experience, I have always had great service at Dalton. The personnel in the Service Department are terrific. They go above and beyond to make sure you're informed with what's going on and when your car will be ready. I have been coming here for 8 years now and plan on continuing to buy Subarus here and have them serviced here. I highly recommend Dalton Subaru, especially with the Costco buying service!

When she i formed me the waiter would be 3 hours with the oil change and alignment, I opted to get a ride home and not wait at the dealership. Came back 3 hours later because I had an event later than afternoon, spent money on an Uber because that was the cheapest (still not super cheap, but beggars can't be choosers), and arrived at the service department only to be told that they needed an additional 40 minutes. I said no, I needed to be somewhere. So she said they needed 15 minutes, cool. I could wait 15. 15 turned i to 30+ only to learn "hey, the machine didn't work, so you're good to go." In my head I'm like wait, so you have had my car for over 3 hours, and it took you that long to figure out your machine didn't work? I would have just stayed for the oul change, but now I dropped a pretty penny to get back here only to be told the machine was not working?! More frustrating, I keep trying to call the service department to speak to someone about getting reimbursed for the damn Uber. No luck getting through. I am definitely not happy right now.

    Within just three months of purchasing my car, it started having serious issues. The only time this…read morecompany communicates is when they want money -- otherwise, they completely ignore you. I have a warranty and followed their instructions to take the car to a specific mechanic. It's now been over a week, and I've received zero updates or communication. On top of that, the mechanic they sent me to can't even work on the vehicle. My car has been sitting in a lot uselessly, and I've had to spend $80+ per day on Ubers just to get to work. This entire situation is unacceptable. I will be filing a formal complaint with the appropriate consumer protection agencies, and I am now considering getting legal representation to handle this. Do not trust this business. Save yourself the stress, money, and time -- go somewhere reputable.
