I'm not sure how many stars to give. I really liked Mike, the salesman. He was very thorough and took the time to walk me through everything instead of rushing me, which I really appreciated since buying from a dealership was new to me. I decided to get the 3-year warranty, and everything went smoothly at first. A couple of days later, I had an issue with the car that turned out to be the battery. Replacing it fixed the problem, but when I told Mike, he said the battery was brand new and that he would "see" if they could split the $300 cost with me. I also mentioned that my passenger-side door doesn't lock automatically or respond to the lock/unlock buttons--it has to be done manually. He said he would talk to his supervisor and get back to me. I followed up the next week but didn't get a response. Two weeks later, I reached out again and learned that Mike no longer worked there. He gave me Aydin's number, so I texted Aydin right away but never heard back. I also reached out through the Millennium website but still haven't received a response. My husband called last week and was told someone would review the warranty, talk to their supervisor, and set up an appointment for 11/4 (today). When he followed up today, a new person said the same thing--that they'd "get back to us." At this point, I'm just really hoping for some clear communication and resolution. I do really like my car and felt the buying experience itself was great. Mike was attentive and helpful, even checking in those first few days when I had a small issue that was quickly fixed after replacing the battery. That made the later silence especially surprising. I just want my car to be working properly and safely, and to get a little follow-through after what started as a great experience. read more

Stick with your gut! I found a car here and I was pretty desperate because I was on disability, moving soon, and I needed a car. These monsters took advantage of me. Two years later I'm still screwed with the lemon they sold me. I had a bad feeling because there was a sound when I was test driving the car, but when I brought it up, they just brushed it off and I feel so stupid for not going with my gut. I bought a Subaru Forester for 10k, (which I had to borrow some of the cash for). I was moving across the country three months later and the car broke down in New Mexico. A mechanic there told me that it needed a new engine. I had to tow it to my final destination and I have been without a car. I started working a year and a half later when I got off of disability and I borrowed another $6500 (which was the estimate for a new engine) and now the local Subaru is saying literally over 10k in damages on the engine likely. I should have wrote this review sooner and potentially saved some others so pain, but here is the long awaited warning to you if you are considering getting a car here. It's no surprise this happened when you look at their response to another bad review, it's very unprofessional and immature. read more

In Arizona, trying to get it titled, the Motor Vehicles Department would not accept the California title. We recently purchased a used Jaguar from Millennium, and AJ was really easy and fair to deal with. He immediately printed out a Carfax report for me, pointed out anything noteworthy (which was not much), explained where they bought the car, and brought it out for me to test drive. It handled well, it had some cosmetic imperfections but was generally a very nice car for a fair price. He told us he was super low pressure about selling his vehicles and encouraged us to take our time and check out the car. The next day, we had it looked at by a nearby garage, and he even drove it over there for us because we live thirty minutes away -- great service. The garage report suggested a couple of minor repairs that we decided to handle and negotiate into the price. AJ was very fair and came back with his best price, which we accepted. On my way to make the purchase, he had me text him my driver's license and address so that he could prepare paperwork for a such transaction. And wow, he really was organized and had everything ready to go. He explained each document, we signed and countersigned, he took our cashier's check, and we brought home the car within fifteen minutes of arriving. We took the vehicle into a different shop the next day for those small repairs, and that shop agreed with the other shop's assessment that it was a solid car. We've been detailing it to maximize the cosmetic appearance, and it's looking really nice now. We love the car and are actually driving it as much as our "main" car. The cars at Millennium do not seem to be thoroughly inspected, and they are not detailed to maximize price. But the staff have a good eye for nice vehicles, they price fairly, and if you're looking for an honest deal and are willing to do your own detailing, then this is a great place to check out. There were no "hidden charges" like those dumped on us at the other places once we arrived. No extra $695 for door guard edge, or $795 for ETCH, or any other nonsense. One other place told us that $10,491 was the "starting point", then (he couldn't help it), but he just had to add lots of extra charges to make the now selling price more than $15 grand! I purchased an older BMW 6 series with super low mileage from Ayden at Millennium cars. It was a 20 year old one owner car. The low mileage & ownership history were confirmed through the car fax presented by Ayden. We negotiated a price & minor repairs along with a 30 dys limited warranty. A couple of days after the purchase I noticed an oil leak . I contacted Ayden & he referred to his mechanic PJ who changed a couple of gaskets at no cost to me which resolved the issue. I was hesitant to purchase a vehicle from a small dealer especially after reading a couple of negative comments in social media. Owner was rude and disrespectful. My husband and I came here to test drive some cars. We had a few we were interested in. The first one had bad brakes and made a crazy loud clicking noise on our test drive. The second was nice, but had significant wear both in and out. We got it checked out at a shop, and it needed almost 2k in repairs. We went online and checked out the other options in the area to compare prices/miles/condition. There were quite a few cheaper options around, including one that was in better shape and had lower miles- for $2.5k less. When we went in to negotiate, we went in with facts, but the owner instantly got mad about our starting price. We'd done our research on the car- gotten the Carfax, checked the Lexus maintenance reports. We knew that car, and the other options. The owner didn't know anything about the car, or the market. He claimed his 30 years in the business meant he knows everything about it. He became angry and started raising his voice. We mentioned the market value, the other options, our reason for pricing it as we did... and he dismissed us out of hand and treated us like morons. I have a simple rule. I don't give business to people who treat me with disrespect. We went to Lexus of El Cajon, and bought the IS250 we wanted, with less miles, immaculate service history, and pristine interior and exterior... All out the door for less than the asking price from millennium. Plus, we were treated with respect every step of the way, even though we were buying a used Lexus from them. We purchased a 2003 Mini Cooper with 41,000 miles on it. A few days later, we noticed a noise coming from the transmission. We took the car to our local Mini dealer and were told that the front axle was aftermarket and the transmission needed to be replaced. We paid $9000 for the car (since it was low mileage) and now we need to spend another $8000 to replace the transmission and axle. We were told that their mechanic had reviewed the car but I don't think that was true. Not happy with this group. read more

In the 40+ years I've been driving, I've purchased more than my share of vehicles. For the last 15 years I have bought cars at an auction house that was open to the public. Millennium Autos is family owned and operated by Habib, AJ and Sharveen (hope that is close to correct) and it shows. Zero BS. No add-ons. No crap of any kind!!! When I decided I wanted the car (since we already had our financing in place) it took maybe 20 minutes to do all the paperwork. Carfax report? Included. The car had new tires and had been serviced 300 miles before. I can honestly say these people run the most AWESOME dealership I have EVER been to. As a driver for a major car rental company I have spent time in a hell of a lot of dealerships - and not even luxury and high end sports car dealerships come close to the honest, friendly and fast service I received, No fancy buildings, no hype, no pressure of any kind. My husband and I were looking for a new car about a month ago. My husband first stopped by Millennium to see a car we saw online. He spoke to AJ and he was a pleasure to talk to without having the pressure of having to buy a car right then and there like other people do. We drove down to San Diego (we live in OC) one night to look at a car at a dealership, but we were unimpressed with that car. We decided to just stop by Millennium to see the outside of the car my husband had saw previously and knew they were already closed. Habib happen to stop by and asked if we wanted to take the car out for a test drive. We felt bad because there were about 10 cars that he would have to move out in order for us to take the car on the test drive. He was so kind to move the cars and we were able to take it out for a test drive. We told him that we would buy the car and would come back on the weekend. AJ called us the day before we came down to start all of the financing and get that taken care of. The online process was quick and easy. When we went back to buy the car, AJ had us out of there in less than 20 minutes. That was the fastest process we have ever had buying a car. The car we bought was in such good condition and we were so impressed with all of their cars....they really know what they are doing and get good quality cars. We liked that the pictures online were actually accurate of the car in person. We went to see so many cars that deceived us with the online pictures. Secondly, if I make a complaint on yelp it's all real and folks get scared and call the police when they do dirty deals and try to turn it into something it is not because they lie about a vehicle. Like you, for example, I didn't threaten you, but see you lie because I told you I was going to tell yelp & all of San Diego and anyone I know about your business.
