Outstanding STEAK Quesadilla!!!!!! CB is my place to go for steak anything. Happy to see they are open again after the kitchen fire!

Finally back into service after a kitchen fire, we thought we would give CB a try again. It had been a few years since we were last here. I remember having an excellent torta (which does not seem to be on the menu now) but most other things needed some seasoning. CB has not changed. We were quickly greeted and shown to a table. Also the chips came quickly. The menu is far too large so it took me some time to settle on what I wanted, which was the Tuesday Taco special. Megan ordered steak fajitas. The food came fast enough. I had two carnitas and an asada street tacos with a side of beans. The food was not bad, it all just needed seasoning. Any kind of seasoning. Same with Megan's fajitas. Also needed seasoning and she even put salt on her beans. When is the last time you salted your food at a Mexican restaurant? I watched the fajitas for the first time in my life today. It seems like they cook the meat and veggies to a good doneness then put it on the hot cast iron to bring it sizzling to your table. They brought over the food pretty quickly so that was the first time I've seen the food burn at the table. Many workers came and checked on us, offering us more refills and making sure we had all we need. The fellow I think is the owner came by a few times too. Service here is very good! read more

I ordered for takeout the tacos carne asada with beans and rice, queso dip, and fried banana. The meal arrived quickly and solidly packaged. Every item was delicious. The service was helpful and friendly. I would look forward to eating here again if I was in town again. read more

We are from out of town, so, after the two hour "where do we eat routine" and perusing Yelp-we landed on this establishment. I will say this is a small town. It's cute, and has live music on Friday apparently. The hostess couldn't tell us what was in what appeared to be a regular special. That's a little concerning, but didn't bother too much. We ordered cheese dip because we always do, and the menu had different add ons including jalapeños for free. I asked if they would come on the side, and she told me that we would be charged. I told her the menu said free add on, she informed me that they needed to change it or put it on the sign...slight pet peeve. The salsa is a little spicier than the ordinary Tex-Mex in a totally good way. So, food...I ordered a steak quesadilla fajita, my husband ordered some steak and cactus dish-right up his ally, and little but went with the kids meal, although he sucked down the cheese dip like no body's business. The server was polite, and kept our glasses full, and our chips warm. My husband's dish was pretty wow, my quesadilla was good, but the fajita veggies were still a little raw. I like those veggies, but they should have been cooked fully. The bell pepper did not have a consistent fajita flavor. I will give our server a 5-Hub's food a 5, and my food a 3. So, I guess a 4 is a good even number here. read more

Upon entry, we were seated right away. The food was pretty decent. I was especially fond of the Guacamole which was very fresh and chunky! My mother had the Texas Margarita and she was very fond of the drink! The burrito was pretty good and complimented well with the queso. Unfortunately the desert was pretty Mediocre and tasted more like Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal (which, I love btw! So I ate it) but nothing to write home about. I love that they had very clean bathrooms, which is something I often pay attention to especially right now during the pandemic. I rated this facility a 3, because I noticed the booth seating was very dated with torn up cushions that scraped my pants when I sat and stuck to my pants when I rose. I often order ice water with lemon every place I visit and their water tasted like dirty pipes, so I'm assuming it was tap water. The waitress assured me it wasn't, but a dirty aftertaste was in both our ice waters. They advertised that they were practicing COVID standards, however our waitress often pulled her mask down and hovered over us forgetting it was lowered. We had to mention it to her a few times to please raise her mask. Her service was also just "okay" she wasn't very attentive. Even though the food was decent, we can do better. I'd highly recommend a new water system and make sure masks are always up with staff. read more

I've had both 4 & 2 star experiences here, so splitting with a 3. Overall I think this is a decent establishment, just some inconsistencies when when it comes to certain signature items. They feature their mole in multiple dishes, so naturally being a fan of mole I ordered it and enjoyed it. The next time I had the mole it was broken..raw spices.. and completely overpowered with cinnamon. So just want to throw that out there, and good luck! The chips and salsa are standard, I would say the salsa has excess oregano, which I don't mind, but my wife feels it is too overpowering, so another heads up there if you are not a fan of oregano. The service is pleasant, and very busy. The overall restaurant is clean, with exception to the patio which could use some love. This California burrito is massive, and filled graciously w steak and or chicken, and food service is pretty quick here as well. The margaritas are straight out of a pre mix bottle, and the burrito challenge is wrapped with 7-9 flour tortillas , so heads up there as well. read more

Really nice little place. I don't know that it warrants a 4.5 total star average but I can't hardly give it a 3 since it was actually really good, services was nice, interior is clean and the food itself was above average. I have been here twice and the first time I ordered the fajitas and the second time ordered the steak/chorizo tacos. Both were fresh, hot and tasty. I would definitely reorder either on the return - both made excellent leftovers as the portions were generous. Know this place is a cut above your average Mexican - but it probably isn't a perfect 5 star either. read more

This place is great! Best authentic Mexican restaurant In the area. They have some of the best chorizo 10/10 recommend. I come here quite often and I have had a wide variety of things on their menu. We stopped in for lunch while spending a few days in Clarksville. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We settled into a booth and was immediately served warm tortilla chips and salsa. The chips were thin and crisp, just the way I liked them. I would have loved some spice in the salsa but it was still tasty. We were in the mood for authentic Mexican food and that's what we received. The lunch prices ranged from $3-$9. There was plenty to choose from. I ordered the chicken and shrimp fajitas ($8). Man, it was seasoned to perfection! I don't usually want refried beans, but they were delicious, too. My mom ordered the half portion of chicken soup ($3) and taco salad ($6). The soup was piping hot and had a nice portion of chicken and avocado. Yum! She ordered the taco salad mixed with beef and chicken. We forgot to ask for no cheese, so it was filled with melted cheese and shredded cheese on top. Although there is a full bar, we didn't have drinks. We saw a sign out front displaying drink specials. Service was excellent! I'll return when I'm in the area again. read more

Delicoso !!!!! I was on a work trip in Cornelia and have visited this awesome restaurant 5 times in 5 days. Can never get over it... Just love it. One of the waiter introduced us to this Corona 'Familiar' beer... it's 32 oz... 1 freaking quart. Me and my colleagues are hooked with this beer. Must must try !! I'm a vegetarian and their vegetarian options are equally flavorful. And drinks.... You can't just have one. Good selection of Margaritas. The owner and everyone in the restaurant are very friendly and treats really well. I'll be coming back every time I'm in Cornelia. read more

What an unexpected treat in the Market Centre plaza in Cornelia, GA! We were headed home from a weekend getaway and stopped here for a late lunch. We were greeted by the friendliest staff and enjoyed attentive service. We had a large party of 9, and had very little wait time, even though the restaurant was hopping! The soft drinks are huge and the hot chips are unlimited. Our server refilled our chip baskets and salsa so many times that we had to kindly ask him to stop. A huge pro for me are the chips are not overly salty. The salsa has a strong tomato sauce flavor, but is not unpleasant. Every single entree is huge and after eating so many chips, we mostly stuffed our meals into takeout boxes. I would definitely eat here again. Even though the meals are not super authentic, the friendly and welcoming environment is a huge pro. Everything we ate was tasty and freshly made and served hot. Great hidden treasure! read more

A great find! This place has the best Mexican food I have ever eaten! I love the los tres amigos and the tacos chipotle camerones! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Portions are more than generous and chips and salsa are served before the meal (per most Mexican restaurants) I have been more than three times now and have never left disappointed with a meal. read more

On Father's Day June 19th 2022 my family entered the establishment for dinner. The tone in which my family was greeted with is unacceptable. My father requested crunchy vegetables versus caramelized, the waitress ever so kindly mumbled under her breath "good luck with that". After ordering they waited an hour to still have no food. After my mother asked the waitress how much longer as every one around them was being served, the waitress said she'd check on it in a rude manner. Im not sure why the attitude or why they weren't being served as everyone else was, being that the establishment wasn't booming with business. If your servers can't be hospitable and in the very least decent to customers, maybe consider hiring better people to represent your business. Its not okay to treat innocent people like that who are just trying to enjoy a meal together. If I could give a zero Star I would, but I'll do one better and let all of North Georgia to know how your employees treat patrons. read more
