I've been here quite a few times and it's been really good every single time I go. Occasionally, the cheese dip will be not as warm as I'd like, but they immediately take it back and warm it up for me but other than that, it is absolutely fantastic. the service is good and the vibe is good also. read more

We love Los Cerritos! This is our usual spot to dine in. The staff are always kind, attentive, and know us when we come in. The food is always amazing. Man I do love a good Mexican buffet. Why don't more mex restaurants get in on the buffet program?? Well I was excited to find out there was a buffet available and despite the reivews, I went for it. Now keep in mind I went there t about 3pm in the afternoon (there were like three customers in the whole place) o probably food turnover was the lowest of the day but most items were only somewhat fresh, not piping hot, and even the chips had a bit of a stale feel to them. Cheese on the buffet was very runny. I did enjoy the taquitos and make your own fajitas.... who doesn't like make your own fajitas? I might make an effort to swing back here sometime during good buffet business hours. Or... I might not. We'll see. read more

While the food was respectable, the service was not. My party of 3 entered ordered very simple meals that normally should have taken 10-15 minutes at most to prepare, but after 50 minutes of waiting in server obliviousness, we finally garnered the attention of a server who had not even realized we hadn't gotten our food, but even gave us our check before we had even received our food (while it was obvious there was nothing more than a basket of chips on our table)! Let me also mention that there were no more than 2 other tables besides us. The icing on the cake was that we had no compensation for our bad experience or waste of time, and had to pay for everything at full price. We will not be coming back. read more

We ate our meal there tonight and the food was not good. They brought the wrong food and drink several times during our meal. They left off some of the food. They served 4 of us food and 5 minutes later, the other 2 of us got our food. We waited 20 minutes for our check, and after asking for it, no amount was written on it. We went to pay and our bill was $30 more than we expected. My husband asked if he could get an itemized total and the girl ringing us up acted like she couldn't understand. This restaurant has been fully revamped. It is great authentic Mexican food, so if you're tired of Tex-Mex calling itself Mexican, this is the place to go. To add to the credibility of that statement, I went on a Saturday night and the place was packed with locals and Spanish-speaking Mexican people. The salsa is delicious. They also have a lunch buffet and karaoke till 10pm on Saturday nights. If you order a margarita, you are going to get a fish bowl that is not skimpy on the alcohol. If you're looking for somewhere fun for a birthday party or a safe place for friends to eat, drink, and relax, this is the place to go.
