I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience, THE WORST SERVICE OF MY LIFE at Casa Beauty, and I genuinely cannot recommend this salon after the way I was treated. I came in with Gel-X nails and was told they needed to remove the entire set before doing my nails. During the removal process, the nail tech completely tore up my natural nail beds. She was so rough that one of my nails was literally BLEEDING after being ripped away from the nail bed. She also cut my cuticles terribly, leaving them sore and looking awful. Unfortunately, it only got worse from there. When she applied the new nails, several were visibly SIDEWAYS. I pointed this out and asked her to fix them, and she told me she would file them straight afterward. They still were not straight. The extensions also weren't placed close enough to my nail bed, leaving a visible line/gap that she then attempted to paint over instead of correcting. Throughout the appointment, I kept pointing out things that were wrong and asking her to fix them, but nothing was actually being corrected. Eventually, I was so frustrated and upset that I told her to just take them off because I could already see how badly they were turning out. I specifically explained that I WORK ON CAMERA selling diamonds, so my hands and nails are shown CLOSE-UP on camera for my job. Having my nails look clean and professional isn't just a preference for me - I literally need my hands to be presentable for work. I had to go to work after this appointment, which made the entire situation even more upsetting. Then, after all of this, they still expected me to pay. I told them I was not paying for work that looked like a toddler had done it, especially after I had repeatedly communicated my dissatisfaction throughout the service and had been physically hurt during the process. Instead of acknowledging what happened or trying to resolve the situation professionally, I was personally insulted and accused of having "come with the intention not to pay." That was absolutely humiliating. I had sat there repeatedly asking for things to be corrected, had my natural nails damaged to the point of BLEEDING, glue was left ALL OVER my hands, wasted my time, and was already extremely upset about having to go to work with my hands looking like this -- and somehow they turned it into an attack on my character. What an embarrassment for a business that is supposed to provide a beauty service and make its clients feel good when they leave. I genuinely left IN TEARS. I've never felt so embarrassed, frustrated, and ashamed walking out of a place that's supposed to make you feel beautiful. Between damaging my natural nails, cutting my cuticles, applying the nails incorrectly and crooked, the nails lifting off the nail bed, leaving glue all over my hands, ignoring my repeated requests to fix them, wasting my time, and then personally insulting me when I refused to pay for unacceptable work, this was easily one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had. The nail bar is very clean and since it is a fume-free nail salon, you are not overwhelmed with that chemical scent you get in typical nail bars. The paint nail bar smells like Hotel 1 in South Beach, very fresh and clean. The service is great too! My gel pedicure (about $65 although pricey, lasts me about 6 weeks.) I would like to mention this before complimenting the nail technician that beware the owner charging your card on file without consent. The location has the right to charge your card if you fail to cancel before 24 hours (based on cancellation policy), which I understand. But I do not understand how an owner can charge my account due to miscommunication between nail technician and receptionist. Due to their mistake, the owner takes upon her/himself to charge my account $40 without notifying me when prior to leaving I was told it was $132 which was paid. This is beyond distasteful because if I would have received a call, of course I would understand. Now they charged my account and I had to find out by calling because there is nowhere on their site or policy that allows the location to charge a card on file. I agreed to the cancellation policy not to be charged a cost without explanation. I would like to see how the owner will feel to be charged and not notified. I booked a gel overlay mani and regular pedi and was left injured with cuts and abrasions on half my fingers. I also experienced poor time management that led me to reschedule my pedicure for the following day. My manicure took 2 hours, one hour for dip removal that was with the tech that wounded me and another hour with a different tech to do the gel overlay. I then waited another 30 minutes for a third tech to do my pedi before going to the counter and rescheduling the last service. I was told that I was going to be charged a cancelation fee if I rescheduled, but was waived the fee after going back and forth explaining I was running late due to the long service and wait time. (For reference, I usually do dip removal, dip mani and regular pedi in 2 hours at my usual salon). I paid $110 (excluding tip) for the 2 services even after being injured because I was in a rush, flustered and figured I would be back the following day to discuss it. Unfortunately I had an emergency the day I rescheduled for but stated I could reschedule once I resolved my issue, so I was waived the cancelation fee again which I appreciated. However, I requested an accommodation for the negligence that resulted in my injuries and pain I experienced. The dip removal itself was $25 so I requested a full or partial refund for that service and was told I could only be refunded $17 but then would be charged the cancelation fee for the pedicure of $48 that they originally waved. In conclusion, the only resolution I was given was to PAY the salon $31 for my cuts and wounds. I even advised I had to cancel my plans to go to the beach because of the risk of infection and painful stinging, and was told that it was healthy to go into the ocean with open wounds and "good for the cuts". This is incorrect and could lead to health problems, as the ocean is not a sterile saline solution. I advised I was going to leave a review and was told it was unfair to do so since they waived my cancelation fee, but it is my right to share my story and I have been transparent. read more

I tried this spot three times, giving it a good chance. The quality and vibe plus service from all the girls is amazing. I was really pleased. The problem is that I was doing Sculpt Gel nails and it would not last even a whole two weeks. It was always 10 days or 12 days at best. The rave about these nails is that it can last up to 3-4 weeks. Well that never occurred. So I decided to check another spot out and it's my first set with them, the nails are going on for 2 and a half weeks now. I can probably use the set I have for another week and even cooler if I get the whole 4 weeks that they are marketed as. So, if I'm pregnant I'll come back to this spot for the vegan nails. But, it's just not in my budget to come back every 10 days to do a $70 manicure and sculpt. read more

Anyway, I found this place close to my house and I was excited that they do nail art and they use non-toxic products ( win win!). It was super easy to book and appointment online. Once I got to the salon, I was offered a beverage so I got a sparkling water. Then I was greeted by my nail tech and we started on my nails. I showed her the nail art I wanted and we started. I'm not sure who I had but she totally messed it up. I had to get back to the baby so I just said it was ok and left. Last time I called to make an appointment the owner asked me for a credit card to place on file to charge me if I don't show up at the appointment. I told her I have a gift card and I don't feel confortabile giving her my card info, I was never asked for my credit card when I have called before (6 times). She told me I don't know who you are and I need a proof of the gift card you have to make sure is true and closed the phone on me. I used to go to the salon when it first opened. I loved the beautiful salon and the Berry Mimosas. However, I had many issues with the gel manicure chipping within 10 days. I even bought a monthly membership because of the Berry Mimosas. The last encounter I had with the owner of the salon was terrible. She should not be running a business. I had a nail chip AGAIN, and I wanted it fixed. However, she was unwilling to let me come in on the 11th day, even though I emailed a pic of the chip. I had been a bi-monthly customer for at least 2 years. She started yelling at me, and hung up the phone. Avoid going to the salon! Don't pay to get a sub-par manicure and terrible customer service. Listen, I've been to nail salons throughout Texas and Miami. This Paint Nail Bar is the BEST! I refuse to get my nails done anywhere else since I started coming here, a year ago. All other nail salons I've been to are nice but wreak of chemicals and products that they use that are pretty harsh and toxic for us. I don't experience any of that here at Paint. I had a really good experience at this salon. Came in for a gel pedicure and walked out feeling satisfied. The place was really beautiful, sparkling clean, and had a professional staff. The woman who did my pedicure was really professional, classy, polite, and gentle. The customer service here is amazing, the cleanliness is awesome and they're very personable, fast and efficient. When you come in you wash your hands and sanitize your phone. All the staff wears mask or mask & face shield, and changed gloves frequently. Today is my third visit, each time I've been with Debra and she does a phenomenal job on my nails. I have naturally long nails and she does a great job giving me the coffin shape I like. My nails still look good for about 3 weeks until my next visit. The pedicures are great as well, sometime I get the quick one (Lickety Split) but when I have time I'll do the longer one. They offer water, coffee and drinks while doing your service. read more

Review: I started coming to this nail salon in November because it was recommended to me by a friend and I liked the fact that they claimed to use non toxic products. Their website uses words like "utmost perfection", "luxurious", "cleanliness" and "professional service", but these photos of fungus and my latest experience insist otherwise. I not only got fungus on one finger but two! I've been getting my nails done for over 15 years and this has never happened. The worst part was when they implied it was my fault because I didn't notice holes in my nails in which water could get inside (there were no holes in my nails) and/or I waited too long in between appointments (it had been 2 weeks which is standard). Instead of apologizing and comping my latest nail treatment (the least they could do), they charged me full price ($80+ value) and said "next time" we can offer you a free upgrade service ($20 value). I have been saying for the longest time that Aventura needs an upscale nail salon. Well, it's finally here at Paint Nail Bar. I called for a same day for an appointment- gel manicure & lickety split pedicure. The phone was picked up on the first ring & I was able to get an appointment for later on in the afternoon. You will need to put a credit card on file, which was new to me, when making an appointment to hold the reservation. When you first walk in, the ambiance is so great and welcoming. The decor is a nice mix of wood & metals, and soft Grays, whites and pinks. You check in and immediately are offered a beverage- coffee, cappuccino, mimosas. Delicious. The front desk was incredibly helpful and attentive. They do not have the brands you may be used to, OPI, Essie, etc. but that's because the ones they have are all toxic free. However, they are super helpful at finding you a match to a color you are looking for. My nail technician, Lissette was AMAZING. When I say meticulous, I mean METICULOUS in her craft. She took her time with my toes & nails, making sure that the paint job was just right. As with any light color, streaks or blemishes are easily seen and she saw them right away & worked hard to fix them. Most nail salons would overlook even the slightest imperfection- but not Lissette. She was pleasant & took pride in her work. Thank you, girl! This place is a must go for those who are ready for a luxurious experience at reasonable prices with professional staff.
