Unfortunately, my most recent experience was very disappointing. I ordered lonches, but I was given tacos instead. When I pointed out the mistake, the employee was rude and unwilling to correct the order, so I had to ask for a refund instead of having my food remade. The employee claimed that all phone orders are recorded. If that is the case, customers should be informed that calls are being recorded. The recording would also confirm that I ordered lonches and that my order was repeated back incorrectly. What upset me the most was the way both my son and I were treated. We were respectful throughout the entire interaction, but the employee spoke to us in a rude and unprofessional manner. This was my last visit to Alex Taqueria. I will be removing the TikTok recommendation I made and will no longer recommend or support the business. I hope Alex sees this review and addresses the customer service issues, because one negative employee can damage the reputation of an otherwise good business.

Casa Blanca is well known all around the valley. Winter Texans are very fond of it, stopping on their way to and from the valley. Some of them refer to it as the White House, which is the gringo translation for it's name. The building is old, but the food, service and value is excellent. Sometimes in converstion with "Winter Texan's" they find out you're from Raymondville, their first question is "do you know that "White House" restaurant?" They all think it is outstanding. Casa Blanca is a Valley landmark. Its "from scratch" kitchen and hometown atmosphere can't be beat. The Winter Texans that flock there between the months of Oct. through April contribute significantly to Casa Blanca's success. The bad, were all salt issues: -The chips were cold and salt less. -The pico de gallo had little or no lime, and definitely NO SALT. -The 2 grilled onions we ordered were served cut up in bite size pieces, topped with seasoning salt, (very salty seasoning salt). I prefer you serve the whole onion, (not cut up), for me to add whatever I want, possibly just lime and a light sprinkle of salt.
