This bakery used to be a gem. The Colombian breads and treats were always fresh and the ladies…read moreworking there super nice. However, lately, I've noticed the quality of their breads decreasing. Where before I could consistently count on fresh breads, especially in the morning, now every visit feels like a gamble. Today for example, I got a cheese croissant which is a soft bread baked with cheese. For context, I came in on a Sunday morning at 9am when you'd think the breads would be fresh. The bread I received was stale, crumbly, and hard with cheese so cold it completely solid instead of stringy. The bread had either been over baked or sitting there for days. For one incident I wouldn't take the time to write a review, but this is now a more consistent occurrence. One server in particular doesn't show the customers the care and servitude most of the other, longer term servers give. She doesn't always give you everything you buy, charges for bags without asking if you want a bag, and throws the first item in the bag without attention to its quality. Additionally the cakes in the cake case is almost always dry and hard, and the desserts in the fridge taste like they've spoiled. Unfortunately, it seems like the longer they are open and the wider their selection the lower their quality.

As a convenient location to home, I decided to check it out. Sadly, the language barrier made it…read moretough to understand what their pastries even were. While I understand that is isn't an "American" bakery, it would be great if there was a better understanding of the English language for those of us who can't comprehend whatever the language is that they speak in there.

Limes were dry and almost rotten for my chorizo which I asked for the non spicy and got the spicy one. The chicken pastel was 90% potato barely any chicken in it

Overall pretty good!…read more I purchased Pan de bono - simple but yummy flat round breads Buñuelo - simple but surprisingly good, slightly sweet bread ball Juices hit - a sweet blackberry juice Pastel de pollo - standard but good, seemed to also have potato or something inside in addition to the chicken Empanada de carne - good Chorizo - delicious Chorizo con arepitas - also delicious, I highly recommend the orange sauce to go with it. I will 100% return for this Churro con arequipe - I thought I was getting a Mexican style churro so I was somewhat disappointed when I got a long donut filled with a sweetened condensed milk sauce, but it still tasted good Plantain with guava and cheese - I've never had this before and it wasn't bad, but I personally wouldn't get it again I made a pickup order through door dash and my food was ready 25 minutes early (This doesn't seem like a place that you need to order in advance and I am generally against restaurant intermediaries). I bought 10 items for $31 which isn't bad considering how long this food has lasted me. Some items were room temp by the time I got home and they all heated up nicely after about 10 mins in the toaster oven at about 320. I would highly recommend eating these items warm. I will most likely return at some point to try different items although I would reorder any of the above except for the plantain with guava and cheese. There are also plenty of baked goods and pastries at the counter that don't appear on the door dash menu.
