We were looking for breakfast after we dropped our dogs off for their grooming appointment and Santana's was recommended. It was a short walk and there was lots of parking spots available around the cafe. I had the X Galinha sandwich which was very enjoyable, the soft bread was a nice contrast to the crispy chicken and vegetables.

I've been here a few times and I love this place! I gave it a 5 star because of how much food they give and its quality/ authenticity according to my Brazilian boyfriend. I always get the pão de queijo for an appetizer and the açai bowl was SO good (not too sweet). The plate is so good but I decided to get the omelette and steak this time, which was a lot of food/was worth it. The people there are always busy but super friendly especially to a non-Brazilian like me! There's a bunch of tables and it feels so local/popular within the Brazilian community so you know it's good. I would recommend this place especially for bread!

Yeahhhh that is oil, a lot of!

I normally do not do bad reviews, but this one I need! Order an pickup from this place, stop by pick up my order and my fettuccine alfredo was oil Alfredo, I try to remove most of it and still a lot on the plate! Also, the container, come on! Make it better! Little of oil is ok, but the whole can is to much!

Great food. A lot of variety and they are open pretty late, 6am to 11pm. They serve all meals of the day.

So if you wear a pink bandana And your penis is shaped like a spanner Then get your ass to Boston Cause it's weirder than Austin And it has the yum drinks at Santana! The Acai here is very Smooth, as served by the waitress (Maria Maria), who is a bit of a Black Magic Woman, especially when it's Stormy. But she often drops orders, she's a little Carlos and clumsy. This awesome Cafe makes Brazilian juices and all kinds of delicious delights. I wasn't expecting it to be so completely friendly and awesome. They also have the cheese bread - Pao de queijo - and they make it hot and warm and fresh and it could not be any more delicious. Now bear in mind there's tons of Brazilian stuff around here. Yet this is - unequivocally - one of my favorite Brazilian places in a very Brazilian area.

Worst service ever! I ordered a bday cake with white chocolate shavings and bonbon pieces on the top. One white layer with bonbon and the other one was milk chocolate layer with dark bonbon pieces as well. Guess what? It came totally different! But the worst is about to come, when I called the bakery to report it and see what's going on about it they talked with the MANAGER and said " I'm sorry, you've cut the cake already and the only thing we can do is put a 10$ dollars credit under your name so you gonna be able to spent it here!!! Bullsh** place, must be a joke! Bday cakes involve feelings, people and celebration!

I come here at least one a month and I love all the food here. Downside is that it's literally always packed. Which is expected when the food is amazing. They have a glass display of tons of pastries. I'm not familiar with Brazilian pastries so I wish that they had signs labeling what they are. It's a very casual cafe. You wait in line and order up at the counter and then you seat yourself. When your food is ready, someone will come out and call out your name. You have to listen extra carefully because the workers are all Brazilian and they will most likely butcher your name. I get their plate specials every time I come. Love their steak and chicken plate specials. The meats are seasoned really well and the plates come with a LOT of food. Meat, rice, beans, plantains, and Eggs or salad. I'm obsessed with their rice. I'm pretty sure all they do is just salt it but I'm obsessed. I could literally just eat a bowl of their rice and be happy. Their acai bowls aren't the best but they're still pretty darn good. You can pick up to 4 toppings. Any additional toppings are an extra $1

Amazing! We were lost looking for a place to eat and decided to stop! Let me tell you!!!! It's amazing! Employees are just as amazing!

Cant complain. The food is always amazing.

She was so excited when she found Cafe Bonjour because they had several gluten-free options on the menu. We took an Uber there right after we landed and were able to walk right in and get a table when they opened, which worked out perfectly because the place started to fill up! It's a cute little spot with plenty of seating inside, and they also had a nice outdoor parklet that would be great in good weather. We asked to sit at the bar so we could watch the cooks in action, which was really fun. The menu had all the classic breakfast favorites like eggs and French toast, along with some lunch options like hamburgers and chicken wraps. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the gluten-free eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I had the Bonjour omelet, and it was delicious. Overall, this is a fantastic breakfast spot with great food, a fun atmosphere, and solid gluten-free options.

However, it's close to Boston Common and the public garden so there's things to do to while you wait. The owner and staff are super nice and friendly. They're cognizant that people wait a long time to eat at their establishment and treat you with kindness when you're inside. It is very cramped and the tables are close together, but the rustic feeling makes it a great place to catch up with 1 or 2 friends. There's a wide variety of breakfast/brunch items, so there's something on the menu for everyone. The kitchen also is good about substitutions. Additionally, the portions are reasonable for the price, especially for the area. Most entrees come with a salad, which was a fun surprise. I got the Signature Scramble and liked the variety in the dish. The eggs did have caramelized onions, which I picked out, but there was a good amount of sauce and flavor on the plate. This place has been on my Boston brunch bucket list, so I'm glad that I've gone. I'd recommend this place to people who appreciate a good meal, but wouldn't take people who are impatient or claustrophobic.

The lobster sliders were a little too wet for us, but paired well with the fries. We underestimated the size of the salad, but it was a solid salad. Every search for…read morebreakfast spots mentioned Mike & Patty's as a must stop for the best breakfast sandwich you're going to get anywhere. Enough said! I'm a huge breakfast fanatic, especially a good breakfast sandwich or burrito. This is the original location that was started by two friends and has grown to multiple other locations since. We took an Uber here from our hotel. I imagine if you drive over here, parking will be a challenge. It's almost easy to miss. It sits on a corner of a brick building with just writing on the windows. In all my research I did not catch that it is the smallest restaurant in Boston at only 175 square feet. It's basically a room with most of the space taken by the tiny kitchen. There's also a little tiny ledge on the window with a couple of stools for those who may want to dine in. Customers including us took turns walking in and putting in our orders and then stepping out to make room for more people. It had a steady line the whole time we were there. Hours are limited from 7:30-2 so don't delay. Customer service was straight business, kind of the norm in Boston. Their menu is breakfast sandwiches, a couple of burritos and some lunch options like a turkey sandwich, BLT, or a Rueben. For sides, they have hashbrowns or a plain English muffin. For a small menu, they do have quite a few drink options like coffee, tea, juices, and different flavored milks including banana milk which I have never seen. For their food, they use high quality ingredients from local farms and purveyors and have their own bakery for their bread. My eyes fixated on the Breakfast Grilled Crack mainly for the name, but also all the ingredients looked tasty. It was quality eggs, bacon, four cheeses on sourdough bread. I went extra and added sausage to it as well. I also got OJ to wash it down. We realized our only option to eat comfortably was to go back to our hotel lobby to eat. Even with the travel time, the sandwich was nice and warm and the bread was still nice and crispy from the griddle. This sandwich was indeed one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I almost felt guilty eating it because of how rich and cheesy it was. I would skip the hash brown next time. It did not travel well nor did it have anything special going on with it. Hands down one of my favorite meals of the trip that I would absolutely do again if I am in the area.

It had a crunchy, sugary exterior with a soft, buttery center and a delicious streusel swirl throughout. The texture contrast was spot on -- crisp on the outside and tender in the middle. Definitely a pastry I'd order again. The iced pistachio latte, however, didn't meet expectations. Instead of a smooth pistachio flavor infused into the coffee, there were actual pieces of pistachio that settled at the bottom and repeatedly clogged my straw. It required more chewing than sipping, which wasn't what I anticipated. I was hoping for a pistachio syrup or sauce blended seamlessly into the drink for a smoother experience. Overall, the visit was okay. The pastry was a standout, but the latte fell short. Prices are on the higher side, though that's fairly expected for Boston.
