Linguine with white clam sauce & veal parm
Judy S.

Here for the first time and so pleased! The place is small but very well set up. The food was delicious! The bread was freshly made and served with seasoned oil- yum! We had stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer ($16) which were the best we've ever had. Then we had veal parm ($33 & better than NYC's Little Italy!) and linguine with white clam sauce ($28) which was filled with clams! We both got dessert: ricotta cheese cake and lemon cello cake, which was homemade. Delicious! Our server, Joe, was professional, polite, friendly and attentive. It's BYOB and they opened our wine without a charge. We met the chef, Mike, who could not have been more personable to us. We defiantly will go back!

Side of spaghetti - delicious !

Normally I would wait for my second visit to review a new restaurant that just opened one week ago. And I rarely rate an establishment (5) stars after only one visit but here goes. Right out of the gate Casa D'Angelo is running on all cylinders. Ambience great, service impeccable, and most importantly food - delicious! Hard to believe they have gotten their act together this quickly. Please see my photos for our meal selection with comments. And, best of luck for this new fine dinning BYOB restaurant in the heart of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. We will be returning here again real soon..

Saw this under construction and thought "I'm gonna miss Miletto's deli" after it was completed we stopped by and checked out the menu. Authentic choices so boom! Made our dinner plans. We were not disappointed!! The food was delicious, the service was outstanding . Greeted by Mike the owner upon arrival and attended to by Dena. The decor is nice and clean, tables are comfortably situated and you get the feel of a nice busy restaurant. We had fried zucchini as an appetizer and it was a bushel full!! Main entre was filet of sole which my wife loved the broth and preparation . I had veal parmigiana and it was great .bread is made on site and is warm and crispy. The sauce is full of chunks of tomatoes and very tasty. In fact we started dunking our bread in the zucchini dipping sauce !! Highly recommend this fine dining place. White linen table cloths with attentive busboys and water service ..

Short rib special !! Delicious

Great little restaurant tucked in downtown Point Pleasant Beach. It was pretty packed on a week night! Service was great. And the food was excellent. I had this delicious short rib special. Would definitely come back again.

Is this the best Italian restaurant I have ever been to?…read more Actually, yes, it is. And I have been to a lot of Italian restaurants. The wait for a table was 45 minutes, but it was worth every minute. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was wonderful. We ended up being seated in a back patio room and though it was very hot outside (one of those 100 degree days last summer), it was actually very nice in there. The show started with someone asking for our drink order, then coming back with said drinks. After that she brought out some starts on the house, courtesy of chef and owner Joe. We were off to a great start! Soon after she returned to get our dinner order. After that, Chef Joe himself showed up to our table to thank us for visiting his restaurant and ask how we liked things so far. We let him know those starters were perfect...eggplant balls and a corn/tomato salad. Eventually our dinner came. Both dishes were waaaaaaaay more food than either of us expected. I had ordered chicken with mozzarella squares on top and drizzled in balsamic, which was a special created by Chef Joe's wife, according to the menu. My partner got eggplant parm...and wow, what a pile of food it was. Two huge eggplant pieces piled high with delicious sauce and served with some delectable pasta. Chef Joe came back to the dining room awhile later to ask people how their entrees were, and we let him know this was a great experience. I want to go back to Point Pleasant just to get here again. This time I will make a reservation.

However we are staying in a suite and decided to order it to go so we could dine privately on our ocean side balcony. The salmon dish was perfect if you want something light but flavorful. The salmon was melt in your mouth fresh. The appetizer was delicious. The clams and linguine was my favorite. The sauce was incredible and the noodles reminded of the ones my nana would make. If you are staying at the hotel you need to make sure to stop in! The food was the highlight of our afternoon. Update: the deserts were mind blowing! Not one of us can decide which desert was the best. They were all phenomenal! My kid and husband never like cheesecake and they devoured it. Best cannolis and tiramisu I have ever had! The desert is ten stars! Everyone SAVE ROOM FOR DESERT!! We will be talking about the deserts for years to come. Breakfast: Another amazing meal. The owner has perfected this entire menu. The eggs Benedict hollandaise sauce is light and creamy. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The crepes were so good my kid inhaled them before I could try a second bite.

When you walk in, you are standing in front of a pizza counter but there is a nice dining room attached for lunch/dinner. I have yet to try the pizza since I usually just come for dinner. At the table, they start with hot bread and olive oil to dip. The bread is super delicious and dangerously addictive. For appetizers, I have tried the Stuffed Zucchini Flowers and Calamari. Both are great options. For an entree, I usually order the Chicken Parm or Seafood Pescatore Linguine. Most recently, I tried the Spicy Garlicky Salmon, which came highly recommended by other Yelpers. It was the perfect amount of garlic flavor and came with a side of creamy mashed potatoes. Everything I have tried at Lubrano's has been amazing and the portions are huge. I usually bring home leftovers and can make another meal out of it! It's BYOB which is a great plus.
