There is something for everyone, although I have to say that their liver pate is not to my taste, though it is delicious (it is too sweet and less savory than I prefer). The texture is wonderful. The Croque Monsieur is amazing. Whether under an umbrella or the pergola, El Vergel makes for a lovely, relaxed luncheon, and a nice break from the delicious Mexican food available all over SMA. It's tiny and they only accept cash in the form of pesos. It's on a hidden street near Juárez Park and near the opulent Rosewood Hotel. We happened upon this little gem after meandering through the beautiful Juárez Park. It was the perfect timing. The seating area is tiny, with 3-4 tables surrounded by plants in pots which double as the walls. Outside is a parking lot I think. Anyway if you meander by drop in and enjoy.
