A unique gastronomic experience. If you can't make the trip to Italy, this is the Italian experience in South Florida. The business is run by Italians Silvia and Franco and on our night, assisted by grandson Alessandro. In the day it is a well stocked wine retail establishment with additional specialty items curated from Italy. But they offer a dining experience for up to 12 at 6:30pm The menu is set by Chef Franco and he will shop the finest local ingredients that day. Some of the shelf stable items are sourced from Italy like flour and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The entire experience feels as if you are visiting a good friend in Italy. We normally eat early and fast. At this experience we savored each course and paired it with wines suggested by Silvia and others in our party who had an interest in wine. Every bite was wonderful. We finished at 9:30pm and felt perfectly satisfied. The next morning my wife and I both noticed no reflux. One word explanation -Wow Made a reservation for lunch based upon recommendation. Arrived to meet the owners (Sylvia and Franco) in their quaint yet cozy abode. Great mixture of select wine and foods from Italy. Sylvia was so nice and informative; offering wine to pair with our orders along with detailed explanations of Italian cooking and courtier. We were the only ones dining for lunch so we had a lovely time. The food parade started with the Zucchini Blossom (filled with mozzarella cheese) - OMG was that delicious. On to the next tapa was the Summer Capri - OMG 2 with an 18yo balsamic. Next up was the Pizza Alta Pisana - hands down THE BEST pizza we've EVER had. Made with the same 72hr dough as the Focaccia and with grated parmigiana cheese instead of mozzarella. Half with capers and drizzled with EVOO. Sylvia suggested Moscato for my sweet tooth queen and me a cab blend that was hearty without the sulfates. For the grand finale, we had homemade Profiteroles with cream and dark chocolate. It is with some hesitancy I write this review. My hesitancy is based on the fact if people actually find out about this true gem in the rough of a culinary experience, it will take months to get a reservation at this amazing restaurant. I have had the privilege at eating in some of the finest restaurants around the world. They were memorable experiences. My son told me about this small restaurant in Hobe Sound, and my wife and I had one of the finest meals we have ever had. This is our new favorite restaurants, the food is simply amazing, the atmosphere is just perfect, music, service all were absolutely superb. This restaurant is worthy of a Michelin star or two. Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Four course dinner for 4. Everything was freshly prepared with local veggies. Zucchini blossom was unique and very yummy. Pasta cooked al dente and light tomato sauce very flavorful. Entree was chateubriand with a liqueur sauce. I'm very picky with meats but this entree was cooked perfectly for me. Needless to say, i ate every morsel. Started with a white chardonnay, low oak and it was excellent with the tapas and pasta. For entree had a red wine from Italy, very velvety full bodied. We enjoyed ourselves very much and the owner, Silvia, was so gracious and friendly. Was like dining in her home. Place is small and seating limited (one big table, two smaller tables) so calling ahead is a must and books quickly. Will return for future events/outings read more

This place should have a line out the door all the way to Miami!! Undoubtedly the finest food, wine, water, chocolate and anything else your Italian taste buds have been longing for! My most recent visit was spurred by a request from my girlfriend for "the best eggplant" she's ever had. I called Casa Del Vino for their thoughts: and not only did they deliver, but my girl said it may have ruined "eggplant" for her, for the rest of her life! No other would even come close! I have been coming to Casa del Vino for the last few months, and I just can't get enough of it! It seriously has everything I've been looking for in a place to hang out... good food, good wine, knowledgeable owners. The place seriously has the coolest decor I have seen! It is sophisticated, artistic and comfortable at the same time. I have been with friends and to many of their events, they are all great. In addition to wine and gourmet food, I have also made some other purchases for myself and as gifts. They have all kinds of unique items there.
