Down home fish shack at the edge of the airport runway. We didn't see any planes land because we went at lunch time (1:30pm), knowing that the airport shuts down for siesta!
There are individual shack rooms and some open areas for seating, and we just picked a shack and sat in it. I don't speak much Spanish, and that made it more interesting to order. We ended up with two beers, octupus apetizer (pulpo is supposed to be a local specialty), a nice mixed salad, the local specialty roasted new potatoes, and fish of the day for two. We were offered a choice on how the fish would be cooked, and I chose "a la planche" (I think that's what she said!), which ended up being cooked in a hot pan with a nice crust on it. We were very satisfied and happy to see our bill was only €35. read more
