Our waiter was pretty good, we had to ask twice for the queso and he only came back one time to check on drinks. The food was really good and the servings were huge. I got the enchiladas verdes with rice and beans. It was ready good. My son really liked his fajitas burrito. It was the size of a large plate! Had the worst experience here - took an hour and a half to get food and then food was not good - chicken tacos that were dry and no flavor whatsoever. Then staff makes excuse for why it took so long and then given a discount of 10%. Food should have been comped completely. read more

Out of the thousands of Mexican restaurants across this great land of ours, this is one of them. Exactly the same as every Mexican place I've been to where they serve chips and salsa and then make you wait 5 minutes to serve you something to drink. The entrees are the same combination of different shells/tortillas and meat, and you'll be served in about 6 minutes. Decorated from the same Mexican restaurant store as all of the others. Wish we would have come here on earlier visits. Our last visit to the gas city area, we stopped in on a busy friday evening. We had a party of 8 and they were happy to accomodate us. We recently had lunch here and highly recommend. Service was outstanding. Our server was pleasant and efficient. Anytime someone walked by our table they refilled our drinks. Food was great. If you like spicy (we do!) ask for the hot salsa as well. You can simply add some to your mild salsa if you don't want it too hot. Great food. read more

There's nothing OUTSTANDING about Casa BUT it's a fun place to eat and meet friends. The owners and employees are very friendly and work hard to take care of you in a quick and professional manner. The food. This is typical "Americanized" Mexican food. A plentiful menu option, sold food selection and done as you would expect. Favorite foods from my perspective: Arroz con Pollo, small ground beef taco salad, carnitas and bean dip (this is actually their queso and refried beans in the same bowl)! The drink...well, there's really on one drink. Margaritas. They offer, and we accept, a pitcher of margaritas. Make sure you ask for Patron when you choose your pitcher. We have various nicknames for this pitcher of Mexican nectar but order food with your drink or you will need to be poured into your Uber and poured out at your home!!! Menu is fairly typical as far as selection goes. Atmosphere is quite nice, certainly above average for a Mexican restaurant. It seemed clean. The service is fast and friendly. The food is not necessarily different than many other similar restaurants, but it was definitely fresh, hot, and tasty. I usually judge these kinds of restaurants by their fish tacos if available, and these are decent. Price is pretty much on part with similar places (pretty chap). I've been to several Mexican joints in the area, and this is one of the top two, I would say. If you're jonesin for Mexican fare, you can't go wrong here. 4-star generally means better than average to me. Would rate this place 3.5 stars if the option was there. read more

If you're looking for great Mexican food in the food desert of the Gas City/Upland area, this place is it. Every time I am in town to visit my alma mater I eat here mainly because I love their tacos and they have orange Fanta. I always go for the chorizo tacos and they never disappoint. The chips and salsa are great, but I always love getting some extra guacamole on the side to spice it up. The people that work there are really hard workers and can sometimes seem too direct, but if you talk to them they are truly sweet and easy-going people. When I visited with my parents (who both speak Spanish) they had a wonderful time talking with one of our waiters. They still ask about Casa and whether I've been back! The look and atmosphere of the place is not super trendy or upscale (which, come on... you're in Gas City what did you expect?), but it makes for a very laid-back and homey environment. The Mexican decorations are fun and add to the character of the place. I would recommend any of the tacos as they are my go to and are a delicious and consistent option! Also, if you've never had Fanta soda... Do yourself a favor and order it! read more

In town for business and Casa Grande was recommended . I am glad it is good will have to come back for more I has the Tacos al Pastor I eat these in Mexico. These here have a little heat with them. First time here as we met with friends coming from the opposite direction. We liked this place and the food was good. The salsa was quite nice and the chips were served warm. There is a large menu and none of our party of four had any complaints about our food. Portions are generous. While we ate many more people came in, which is always a good sign. This is a very good restaurant with popular Mexican dishes. Personally I get all sides. Poblano chili, tamale and Tostada. Unlike many Mexican places this place has different sauce for each item. Oh the other great thing is XX amber and other Mexican beers on tap. There were seven of us and all really enjoy this place. I would also recommend the fajitas. Wife loves them. Food is always good and the ingredients are fresh. They package their carryout really well. My only complaint is that the price seems to be different based on who his ringing you out. We can order the same thing everytime we go but its never the same price twice.
