Was out working in the area and was told by a friend that lives out this way. Food was typical for a Mexican restaurant. Service was fast once I ordered food was served within 10 to 15 mins. I have lived in the area 6 years, and ppl always talk about this place. I FINALLY took my family here for breakfast, and I was surprised. It was a little more upbeat and friendly, and yummier than I expected! It reminds me of a little place we go to in the middle of nowhere that we love - It's just the VIBE. Since Casa Jimenez is so close to work, we typically visit on a weekly basis. It is a large restaurant with a good size bar area. Although I have never had the opportunity to indulge at the bar, it looks very robust. There is also a Touch Tunes digital jukebox that contains all types of music. I have yet to find a blocked artist or song. The volume level depends on the time of day, but if it is too low or too high, the staff is willing to make adjustments. Regarding the food, it is pretty good. I have had the taco salads, different types of combination plates, and the fajitas. All of the food as been satisfactory. A bonus here is that if you need more than the typically 3 tortillas that comes with the fajitas, for example, they won't charge you for one more. What makes Casa Jimenez really good, is the service. The servers have all been great. They are friendly and return to your table frequently to refill drinks and the included chips and salsa. The service is what pushes Casa Jimenez over the 3.5 star range. If you work in the area, you should give Casa Jimenez a try. read more

I came here for lunch and ordered their lunch special of 2 taquitos with beans and rice. The taquitos were not crunchy at all and rather chewy when you bite into them. The beans and rice tasted good and the service was also good. The salsa had a little kick to it but very watery for my taste. read more

Hands down one of the best Mexican food restaurants in the area. Free chips and salsa came out promptly after seating. I really enjoyed my carnitas dinner. The carnitas came just how I like out, slightly crisp on the outside. The enchilada combo plate was also on point. The jukebox box (if that's what they're still called) had the place craccin! Went to eat here after my son's game. The service was crap. The only reason for the 2 star is because the food was delish. They charge for refills. They charged extra for pico de gayo (which tastes horrible). The waitress didn't tell us about the extra charges. The manager said it was on the menu. I didn't know I was suppose to examine the menu to know these things. We had to ask for everything we needed. Not to mention the long wait for everything. We will never go back to this place. They were not friendly and the manager pretty much told us it's our fault for not reading the menu. Worst experience ever. read more

Only reason didn't give the fifth star is their happy hour drinks. For $11 a pop you are not getting buzzed. Even in the slightest. Even after two. And I usually NEVER need two anyplace else. Most happy hour drinks are around $6. Especially the margs. Not here. Overpriced and alcohol you don't taste or feel. I usually don't complain about food and I don't mind paying when the food is good, but I work about 4 minutes from this place and I placed a phone order and ordered a steak picado combination with rice and beans and an extra order of tortillas and my bill was $25 and when get back to my lunch room, everything looks so good, but my steak picado was literally a few tiny pieces of steak in a big pile of onions, tomato and bell peppers, I was so disappointed, it was the most expensive rice and beans order I ever bought because it had no steak in it. read more
