Steve and I have been to Westport plenty of times and we have also passed by Casa Limon a fair amount of times but more often than not we already made meal plans or some other situation. But on our last trip to Westport we finally made a stop here and we had a very good meal. I had one of the combinations and got a chicken enchilada with a chile relleno along with rice and beans. The food was quite good! It tasted fresh...especially the chile relleno and the rice and beans looked like some genuine tlc went into them rather spooned out of a can. Steve got a special in which he had three beef enchiladas which were very good and proved to be a very filling meal! We got dessert which was pieces of churros filled with raspberry filling which finished off a very satisfying and excellent meal. Definitely will keep Casa Limon in mind for when we are visiting Westport again! read more

I wanted Mexican food as it is as close as I could get for "rice and protein" in the same plate. I chose this place because it was about 3 minutes away from our hotel. The restaurant was understandably busy on a Saturday evening, but the wait time was not bad (30 minutes for order of 3 meals and a coke). I left the restaurant and came back to receive my order in time. The food tasted awesome. I did not have any complaints! Newly opened by new owners in the former El Rancho location. Great folks preparing the meals and giving smiling customer service. The new menu is refreshing and has some novel items. I'm not a local but I visit Westport six times a year. The Chili Colorado and Chili Verde are both complex and smack you, while not being too hot. It's complex and spicy but not pure heat just to hurt you. The taquitos rancheros appetizer is crispy and the chicken reminds me of pulled chicken that is moist and a bit spicy. The contrast is great. The guacamole is better than most. It is fresh and snappy and not tired or over ripe. Our food tasted incredibly fresh and made to order. Their takeout is very professionally wrapped. I even tripped going from the car to the hotel room and the food was still all together. I haven't eaten inside the place since the renovation, but it is freshly painted in happy colors and is clean. Yet, I'd feel ok going here after work before changing. Highly recommended. With respect to El Rancho, Limon is way better than El Rancho. read more

Best tacos I've eaten in my whole life, service was great. Met the owners they are really nice and he makes the best tacos. New owners have really made the place look really good and it does get really busy on the weekends but you can see the locals come back so that is a great sign the food is good. read more

One of the best Mole sauces I've ever had. Not sweet with some nice mild spiciness. I don't like hot. They are being crushed by the outside of the building. It desperately needs a facelift, new paint to start. Don't let the exterior fool you. Its clean and nice inside. Service can be a little slow but it's worth the wait. I visit my sister and her husband on weekends in Westport . We decided to try the Casa Limon.. Wow! Was it ever good! The food, the service and the atmosphere was beyond my expectations.. We weren't sure about trying this restaurant because it only had one yelp review, but decided to try it and are we glad we did! Some of the best Mexican food that we have had anywhere. The shredded beef in my taco salad was deliciously seasoned and the salad was fresh and included all the fixings. My husband had the chipotle chicken enchiladas and he loved them as well as the beans and rice which were very flavorful and everything was piping hot.
