This is a beautiful modern decor restaurant with views of the nearby bay. The chips are freshly made, thick and crunchy. And my Octopus tacos were savory with the right amount of chewiness. The service was great, so good I could have stayed for hours. If I'm ever in Seabrook again I'll be sure to be back.

I wanted to re do my review from last time as it seems this can be very hit or miss. However, I have had more great experiences here than negative ones so I think that speaks volumes as well! I went here for New Year's Day lunch and it definitely did not disappoint! They seated us within 15 minutes to clear tables. We got seated at a big table to start but they asked if it was ok to move us to a smaller table and they offered free chips and salsa for doing that. We definitely obliged. Their homemade chips are delicious and not greasy. The salsa is like a Roja type salsa I believe and it is so flavorful and not super spicy. The carne asada tacos were so fresh and grilled perfectly. The rice and black beans were also incredibly delicious. The steak was super tender. Our waitress was very kind, super friendly, she was very busy but always took time to see how we were. I am so glad we have such a nice place in our town!!

A very nice spot - great views of the ocean! Our server was attentive and the food was excellent. The chips and salsa were good. We shared the la tabla. It was a ton of food (forgot to snap a pic). Everything was fresh, no complaints, just know you're on vacation and you'll be paying a premium for your location.

My family and I had a great lunch here. The atmosphere, service and food were impeccable. I would definitely go again.

Best food in town with the worst service in town. Waited 20minutes after everyone in my party left the table before she came with the check. Also, asked for the Senior Brunch discount they had in the window and was told it was Sunday thru Thurs only which wasn't on the sign.

Small beach towns always have me skeptical about the quality dining. We went to Kokos with a large group while vacationing in Seabrook and honestly I was expecting average Mex/American food, and they blew my expectations out of the water. Homemade tortillas?! Poblano cashew enchiladas?! This place brings it. I had prawn tacos, and the carne asada and enchiladas were also well enjoyed by our group. Also there were 7 of us on a Monday and the hostess/server was so sweet and did a great job taking care of us despite obviously being there working on her own. Definitely recommend dining at Kokos if you are visiting Seabrook or the coast!

Mmm! So very delicious! Lovely ambiance, welcoming and friendly staff. Hubby had shrimp tacos with homemade tortillas- so fresh!! I had a delicious bowl of chicken tortilla soup and ceviche- both excellent Will look forward to returning Also a yummy jalapina margarita and the flan is the only best EVER!! Creamy and not over syrupy.

While waiting for a table, one of the workers directed us to a corner table. But a solo diner was already sitting there-apparently miscommunication between the staff. Staff had to redirect them to the bar. Once seated, we had to ask 3x for water and despite asking for a straw 3x for my salted margarita, I never got one. In fact, I directly asked the owner/waiter/manager if he had a straw on him-his response "it's probably good that I don't" ‍‍. In general, they appeared very overwhelmed and scattered. My husband stated "almost felt like we were interrupting them ". I asked twice for our check & finally walked up to the bar to pay. Thankfully, the food made up for most of the disorganized service. We both ordered the chopper steak & cheese sandwich and our daughter had a bowl of clam chowder. All of us cleaned our plates!

A much needed ocean therapy was calling my name and I drove west. Ended up in Ocean Shores. I left my town due to how crazy busy it would be with parades and a carnival, not knowing what's in store here. A pleasant surprise to see the streets lined with families. Anyway, got to shop, enjoy the festivities, and more importantly spend time walking the beach. Gorgeous day! Which led me to try something new and ended up here at the Garage. The atmosphere here was electric with Mariners on a screen over the bar and the FIFA World Cup games on the other screen. Love the open patio area, where a cooling breeze can be felt all throughout the Garage. They were a bit busy, so it took a minute to greet me, but at least I was able to find a table. I ended up ordering their Fish & Chips, and a cup of their chowda! DAMN!!! That's a mighty fine cup of chowda! And the baked buttered crips was spot on. Never had it that way (just the usual soft sourdough or oyster crackers) but them sliced crisps were perfect and I'm going to have to try serving it that way at home. I started out with the Hot Honey Old Fashioned, and surprisingly, there was some heat. Thoroughly enjoyed it! The Fish & Chips were breaded a bit differently. Reminds me of the cornmeal you'd find in the south with fried catfish and what not. The cod was flaky and perfect. It came with three pieces and it was just right. The fries complimented it well. The tarter was legit. Not the standard white sauce, but seemed to have a hint of dill in it. All in all, a great experience for my first time. The staff was busy, but they ensured I was tended to. As always, enjoy and Happy Ocean Therapy!!

The gold and art deco furnishing with the varied lighting and green-gold wallpaper, along with the unexpectedly detailed wood carvings under the bar were great. The drinks menu is a bit small (compared to other nearby bars). We got 5 drinks, one espresso one which wasn't great and the rest were alright. Nothing that made us go "Oh man, try that!" but they weren't bad either. The food, looks better than normal bar food, which I loved. We ordered "Balls of Gibralter" - North African meatballs, which were *SO GOOD*, so delicious EXCEPT the texture. The flavors were all amazing, but it was as if there was too much egg and not enough breadcrumbs because it gave the impression of being wildly undercooked, even though you could see no pink. If they were firmer, they would've been perfect. They seem to have a rotating grilled cheese special I wouldn't mind checking out next time. The ambiance-lovely. The crab and spinach benedict looked good and tasted good. The hash browns were crispy but a bit under seasoned. The eggs were perfect and had runny yolk after I bursted them. This crab/spinach/egg combo works very well. The crab tastes very good and the spinach added a good textural component. The hollandaise sauce looks a bit funny (maybe it split?) but still tastes good. I like the benedict a lot but wish it had more crab. Service wise, the only hiccups that I experienced were that I asked for ketchup but it never arrived and I was too lazy to get up to ask again. They also ran out of to-go coffee cups so they took it off my bill. Overall I had a good experience and really enjoyed the benedict.

Sadly, they had no chardonnay for me, just pinot grigio which I ordered 'cause hubby really wanted a beer by now. The bartender was nice and apologetic that she didn't have my preferred wine. I have to also mention that we were here off-season, so perhaps things are different in-season. What I don't understand is why don't these restaurants just buy a box of decent chardonnay (NOT an oxymoron) and keep it in the fridge for when someone orders it. I mean, a box stays fresh for 30 days or more, so it's not a big deal to just have that on hand when some high-maintenance Chardonnay drinker like me shows up unexpectedly! (Ha...I'm not high-maintenance) The location was pretty cool, overlooking the marina, so that was a plus. But, if they don't have your drink...well, sometimes you just can't recover from that.
