Not bad! Casa Pizza has been around since 1987! Can you believe...I've never been??! I've lived in El Paso for about 30 years now! I'm mostly a lifelong El Pasoan. I left for about 10 years but returned in 2008. I didn't even go that far! Lol. What can I say? I guess I love El Paso and the southwest part of the United States that much. Anyway... We decided to check it out on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza. I also ordered a small meatball sub. Both were pretty good. I would've liked for the sauce in the sandwich to have a little bit more spunk and flavor to it. It was a little bit bland for me but overall it was alright. It could've also been that the ground beef wasn't seasoned enough. Maybe I should've added some jalapenos to it. The pizza was pretty good. It was on the thin and crunchy side. I really liked the cheese and pepperoni on it. It had that stringy kind of cheese that feels good once it hits your throat. I'm in love with stringy cheese! If you remember this place called Mr. Gatti's Pizza from back in the 90's...this pizza tasted similar to it. I remember Mr. Gatti's Pizza being inside of Bassett Center Mall aka Bassett Place. They had a lot of games in there. I believe it was where Dave and Buster's is now. They had a few other locations around town. Oh, and the pizza sort of reminded me of Pistol Pete's Pizza. There was two locations in El Paso. One on Yarbrough (next to where Burlington Coat Factory is now) and one at Fox Plaza. Oh, how I loved both of these spots as a child! You were the coolest kid in school if you ever had your birthday party at either one of these places! I had TWO birthday parties at Pistol Pete's! It's subjective whether I was cool back then or not! Lol. Casa Pizza sort of took me back to my youth for awhile there. The hostess and our waitress were both nice. It took about 20 minutes for us to get our food. The place was clean and tables were separated by at least six feet. The employees wore masks and gloves. I would come back. I'd like to try one of their salads and lasagna. I felt like the prices were reasonable. We paid $22 and change for the pizza, sandwich and 2 drinks. read more

Pastrami sandwiches to go and a Greek plate. Really great sandwiches with no skimping on the pastrami. Only drawback was cheese sticking to the foil maybe the non stick foil should be use. The Greek plates gyro had plenty of meat and was very good. The tazik sauce had sor of a fishy taste and not anything I'd eat again. Normally I'm alright with bad service if the food is good, but I watched as 2 staff members mistreated my dad. I kept my mouth shut because I didn't want to cause any problems, but the waitress and cashier must've had a bad day because they had terrible attitudes. I'm used to rude attitudes back home on the east coast, but not in El Paso. Just straight up rude. Pizza is alright too. I recommend ordering take out to avoid the bad attitudes. read more

This is definitely a delicious little Italian spot. My mom told me about this place so we gave it a try. We came here on a Thursday for lunch and it was perfect. They have great lunch specials every day of the week. I wanted to order a pizza but the lasagna caught my attention. Even the waitress told me it was considered a customer favorite so I decided to give it a try. My mom ordered spaghetti and meatballs and her entree looked delicious. Not only did we get our meals we each individually ordered our own salads and they were HUGE. The salads were so fresh, I could've just eaten a salad alone and been full but I was dying to try the lasagna. When our meals came out they seemed like they were literally right out of the oven. You could see the steam coming off of them. This is the way food should always come out to the customers. Needless to say the lasagna was mouth watering and super delicious and the meatballs that come with the spaghetti were ginormous. My mom said the sauce was perfectly seasoned. DISAPPOINTED...I've been a longtime patron of Casa Pizza. Most of my visits have been for lunch to take advantage of their daily specials. Never have I had a bad experience until today. I took my family for an expected great experience. It was Saturday evening at 7:30 pm, and it was busy. A positive sign of a good restaurant. We sat in the back corner booth and that's when it started. It took 15 minutes for someone to come and pick up the dishes and clean the table from the previous party. We ordered our drinks and waited about 5 minutes for our server to return. She then took our order. She didn't write anything down and relied solely on her "memory "- a small cheese pizza, medium meat lovers, and a chef salad. Salad came in about 5 minutes and I thought during that time or right after we should expect our pizzas. An hour later, we're still waiting!! Now by 8:30, there were only 3 tables with people. I was about to get up when I saw our server bringing the medium pizza. When she set the pizza down, she said the small cheese would be out in 8 minutes due to a "mistake". Not sure how you can make a mistake on a plain cheese pizza. To make matters worse, our medium pizza was colder than a boxed delivery of Little Caesar's from Las Cruces to El Paso. We ate as much of our meat pizza until the small plain cheese was delivered and asked to box it because it was almost 9 pm. Nobody apologized or said anything when I went to pay at the front. A total an hour and and a half for a bad experience and cold pizza will keep us from coming back for a long while. read more

My husband has had lunch here a few times and wanted me to try the pizza. We stopped in for a late lunch on Saturday and there were only 2 or 3 tables at the time. We noticed that the take-out business NEVER stopped! By the time we were finished eating around 3:30 pm, the dining room was mostly full and the server was hustling! We had antipasto salad with Italian dressing and a medium 12" pie called the House special with ALL of the good stuff. Super cheesy deliciousness. The salad was crunchy and fresh. I would like to have had some olives & pepperoncinis but meats and dressing were delicious. The pizza was so good. Loaded with a ton of toppings under a melted cheese blanket. Every bite was loaded with plenty of meat and vegetables and did I mention the cheese blanket? The only only thing was the crust. Not the top of the crust, that part was crunchy and buttery tasting. It was the crust underneath that beautiful pile of goodness that got soggy and couldn't handle holding up the rest of his homies. Their pizza was very good, we selected the 5 ingredients we wanted and added 2 salads, antipasto and Greek. It was definitely enough for 2 meals each. I was happy they had Canadian bacon, it is hard to find a place that had it and it is my favorite. For their black olives they use Kalamata olives on their pizza that give it a special flair. Be careful with what you are charged for. It was a slow day and our waitress told the cashier-supervisor that they did not have the appetizer we had ordered so she needed to remove it from our bill. We paid and asked for a receipt. We noticed she had charged us for the appetizer she said she needed to run our credit card again to charge the new amount and that the first charged would be canceled. It wasn't. I called her when it cleared our bank and she said we had to go back to the restaurant with the same credit card so we did. We showed her the bank statement showing both charges getting cleared. I explained to her we would not be signing again another amount and we wanted a receipt showing it refunded. She refused and said we needed to call our bank to have them take care of it. I honestly hate horrible people who steal and take advantage of their customers. We will never go again! read more

The new location has some inexperienced wait staff as I had to go and get my own napkins, crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese. The pizza itself was okay; nothing to message Yelp about. The SO got a gyro which was requested with no tomato and no onion. It wasn't quite surprising that the gyro had both tomato and onion. The fear of having to wait more prevented us from saying anything. Save your money and time. Go to Ardivinos/Italian Kitchen for good pizza or go to Sinbads for good Mediterranean food. read more

Tonight I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a chef salad with blue cheese dressing for tomorrow's lunch (long project). The delivery time was on point and the food was nice and hot!!!! The styrofoam container holding the pasta was wrapped in Saran Wrap for extra protection to prevent spillage. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the meatballs were tasty. This place wants to be too many things, but cannot really make anything really right. We were originally to go to the Sushi Garden next door, but there was a wait, so we decided to give Casa Pizza a try since we never been there. The service was friendly OK, but not very professional. The food, on the other hand, is not quite OK even for a non-professional standard. The best thing about the food we got there was that there were greek olives and feta cheese in the greek salad, but that'e pretty much the only thing greek about their greek salad. Chicken Parmesan I ordered was a huge mistake. I was expecting a chicken dish, but it turned out to be a pasta dish with some chicken strips here and there and some melted cheese - no taste of parmesan either. It pass a pasta dish OK, but no, it is not Chicken Parmesan. I don't think we will come back again. read more

Ouch... I came for Greek, so I had a Greek plate - gyro, Greek salad, tiropita, and spanikopita. Service was (for this at least) fast and friendly. I MAY come back and try a sub or pizza, but it won't be for a while. Much of my dissatisfaction was mentioned by other reviewers. (which I read AFTER I'd ordered unfortunately!) So first, the positives. A/C was efficient. Hand painted table tops are fun and nicely done. Server was friendly. Parking was sufficient. But... Menu is completely lacking in details. Gyro meat was plentiful but kind of awful (Sysco frozen type, but not grilled or broiled to bring out the flavor at all), tiropita was quite good, though it tasted like it was assembled with neutral vegetable oil instead of butter? Spanikopita was offputting. I'm not sure what wasn't right about it, but the flavor and spices were just not quite right. Greek salad was a mixed affair, anothrr reviewer mentioned romaine. Mine was only iceberg. The dressing (Italian, not Greek) was quite good. Feta was decent quality and olives were good quality. Tomato wedges were huge and poorly prepped. Cucumbers were fresh and crisp, but radically uneven in the prep work. Now, gyro, part II... The tzatziki was really wrong. It lacked any semblance of freshness or the lovely yogurt/garlic tang it should have. It tasted "boiled" and thickened somehow. I'll stick up any of the other significantly better Greek places in town. I was tempted by the "musaka" but doesn't feel up to the disappointment if it wasn't good. Sad...
