Today, June 5, 2026, we went to Grimaldi's Pizzeria to celebrate my son's high school graduation. We ordered two 18-inch pizzas and a calzone, and everything we received was burnt and of very poor quality. This isn't the Grimaldi's my family and I used to visit. This was the perfect pick to have a nice dinner for a family of six. The place has a great warm and cozy vibe as soon as you enter. The service was friendly and very responsive throughout our entire meal. My favorite however, was the food. We had a board, salad, pizza, and dessert. The pizza was pretty spectacular. The only reasons I didn't rate this place 5 stars was because I wasn't at all impressed by their dessert menu. Plus, the prices could be a pepperoni lower or have some specials for weeknights. Found on Yelp while visiting El Paso and was pleasantly surprised. Ethan helped me out and was very helpful. I've never tried a Calzone that included ricotta and man was I surprised. So here it is in the Fountains and I'm stoked each time we go! Pizzas here are never disappointing. And the setting is so fun with all their wine glasses set up as their chandeliers. Very elegant and creative. They also have a bar that's both indoor and outdoor with no waiting if the bar stool is open. I enjoyed the outdoor one time when the weather was perfect. Their wine selection is superb as well. Even my manz enjoyed a Banfi red wine while I enjoyed pretty much everything else lol. I had to contact customer service twice because for some reason, I wouldn't get my reward points added even after I give my account number. It's better now but I tossed out my receipts those times, thinking it wouldn't have been an issue but then was. Love coming here for dinner with my manz or friends. After avoiding this establishment for over five years due to a couple of very bad experiences that I documented in a Yelp review, my wife convinced me to give it another try because she really likes their Mediterranean salad. Figuring that perhaps I was a bit too harsh in my initial reviews, I decided to indulge her request and accompany my beautiful bride to Grimaldi's Pizza at the Fountains in El Paso. She made me pinky promise that I would be more open-minded this time. So, we visited Grimaldi's Pizza on 01/27/2025 at around 4:00 p.m. We were promptly greeted with a warm smile and seated almost immediately. We requested a table at the bar and were taken to a spot close to the entrance. Our waitress was pulling double duty, bartending and taking care of food orders not only for the bar area but also for the front section of the restaurant. This seemed fine to us as, other than a small party towards the rear of the restaurant, the place was pretty empty. It took her a few minutes to notice us, but once she did, she hustled over and took our drink orders. We had already decided on what to order, so she took our food order as well. We decided on two small Mediterranean salads and a small mushroom and ham pizza. I was very leery of ordering the pizza again, but I remembered my pinky promise and went for it. Our drinks arrived promptly, as did our salads. The salads were generously sized and had everything one would expect from a Mediterranean salad. The lettuce was fresh, as were the tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, and olives. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the salad was. Just before we finished our last bite of salad, our small pizza arrived. I must be honest, the pizza did not look too good from the start, although it was steaming hot and smelled okay. Upon taking my first bite, I was reminded of my previous review and my bad experience at Grimaldi's Pizza. To heck with pinky swears, this pizza was terrible; in fact, it was a hundred times worse than the pizza I had five years earlier. This pizza was not only tasteless, but it was also swimming in sauce that I can only surmise came from an old tomato sauce bottle. The crust was limp as a result of being completely saturated with the terribly tasting sauce. Despite its popularity, my recent visit to this establishment only worsened my opinion of it. The pies were not just bad--they were terrible. The cost-to-quality ratio is shocking, leaving you feeling regretful. While the ambiance at Grimaldi's Pizza is passable, there are far better options for quality pizza in El Paso. In my opinion, skipping this place is a wise choice. read more

Honestly hate this place, probably the first time I don't like a pizza chain. First had them delivered and got a rock hard cold pizza last year. Tried them again this year and it's crazy how they can legally charge $30 for a cardboard pizza with so little cheese on it. Pizza should be nowhere the price they charge. And they charge for ranch? What pizza place does this???People just go here to flex and pretend they are eating "fine dining" high end pizza. So I feel uniquely qualified to write this review because i've eaten at the original Grimaldi's in Brooklyn, another location in Queens, and now at this location in El Paso, Texas. The wild thing is, this pie isn't very different from the others. I actually preferred this location to the one in Queens. We ordered "The Don" (which is basically their meat lovers pie) and a Margherita Pie. Figured a pretty standard way to be able to tell if this would stand up to Brooklyn's location. So, this isn't Brooklyn, but that's okay. You can't expect to get a pizza thousands of miles away and expect it to be the same. It is however, very good, and SO much better than we expected to find in El Paso. The Don has lots of meat and a great flavor. The Margherita is exactly what you'd expect to get when you order one. The crust on both was thin and crunchy which I love, and the sauce to cheese ratio is on point. If i'm ever back in El Paso and craving pizza, no doubt where i'll be getting it from. read more

Fantastic pizza. When people ask where the best pizza place in town is, there is a short list with Grimaldi's sitting at the top. This time we started with the Mediterranean salad. A small was perfect for 2 people to split. For pizza, we got a 16" traditional with pepperoni, mushroom, and extra cheese. Hard to go wrong there. Real good place to satisfy your pizza craving. Located at southern edge of "Fountains of Farrah"mall and open pretty late for El Paso. We had a 16" traditional "coal-fired" with mushrooms, bacon and pepperoni. I prefer a thin crust and this met the criteria. Before pizza we shared the small house salad and afterwards the chocolate cannoli and coffee. They have a pretty good wine list and we did a bottle of Coppola red. Service was very good. We love Grimaldi's! It's a birthday tradition to go and have a Birthday Pizza there! The pizza is good as usual. We always get the house salad, pizza and wine. I was a bit disappointed that we were given the huge glass of wine without giving us an option for the smaller one and I typically don't pay $18 for a glass of wine. This place was a surprisingly good pizza joint in El Paso! The pizza is slightly different in the fact that the tomato sauce and cheese are next to eachother, instead of on top of eachother, and the crust is nice and thin, reminiscent of NY style. Food was fantastic! I just wish everything was timed to come out at the same time, as it was awkward for my party to eat before other people. Love the jazz music though! read more
