I visited last Friday (5/30) on their first week of them being at their new location on Mesa street (west El Paso). I tried the cuban sandwich and pizza to-go. The portions were very filling! The owner shared that they just moved from Airway and was friendly and welcoming when I had questions about the menu since this was my first time trying Cuban food. Great lil Puerto Rican spot! Definitely not your average one because this place has pizzas and these new things I tried called tostones rellenos! They're basically stuffed tostones and you have a few different choices of meats. Tried the ham and cheese option and it was perfect! Also got a double cheese pizza and it reminded me of pizza hut quality which was great. But WOW did they load up on that doble queso! I liked their cubano enough but I couldn't help but notice the ham was still cold even after being pressed in the sandwich. Not my favorite version but it was still delicious. Service is super friendly and fast. Its a small place that's decked out in PR pride and a TV as well for entertainment. Lots of cold bottled beverages to choose and even a lil snack station. I stayed across the street at Home2Suites. I didn't feel like going far for dinner, and this was a great choice! This is a family run establishment and well worth the visit. I ordered a Cuban Sandwich and a pizza with Ham & Onion. You'll see by the photo it was delicious!!! I'd highly recommend trying the food here. I do want to visit again, but I will not reccomend the Cuban sandwich. I got a lot of food for the price but it wasn't that good. It seems that this place wants to be a pizza place above all. So next time I'll try the pizza. Might be awhile though. So I'm used to Cuban sandwiches from Miami and South beach Florida. This place doesn't compare. I feel it does cater to the American palat and expectations. It was too big and over packed which what most ppl might like. The sandwiches I've had in FL were well balanced and didn't spill out every bite. I did take my food to go but the fries were soggy and greasy. They give you a ton. So if you're more into quantity over quality, this is your spot. I forgot what the other option I bought, it was smashed plantains with ham and cheese. I wouldn't order these again. I've eaten all sorts of plantain dishes during my travels in central and south America. This would rank at the bottom of my list. It was really hard and dense. It seems like it was premade way ahead of time and reheated in a manor that made then definitely feel reheated and not fresh. The staff which was the cashier and a cook was nice but didn't speak English and I had questions about the menu before ordering but we couldn't understand each other so I just ordered what I ordered. I wouldn't suggest this place. It could just be me but I can't seem to find anything impressive from non-chain restaurants here. Yelp suggestions affect helping either. I've been here going on 4wks living in a hotel with my company paying for meals so I've been exploring daily. I need to find a hotel with a kitchen because I've been disappointed with almost all my non-mexican meals here in El Paso. read more

Tried little Habana today, it was time for a cubano. Cubano was very good, filled with delicious pork. Just tried this place today because I had seen it on Yelp and it sounded really good. The food is very reasonably priced and everything we tried was delicious. The sandwiches are really good sized.
