The prices are about in line with other Mexican restaurants, but this one nickels and dimes you--actually dollars--for any common small things you might ask for, such as a couple of skinny lime wedges. I can't speak to the overall bar-drink quality, but there's a nice cocktail menu with some creative offerings. I tasted the tequila sunrise margarita and thought it was a bit imbalanced and light on the sour element. It's too bad. The place is really cozy and the paintings are fantastic. They're framed with ornate, painted borders and are set against a light-colored wall, giving the restaurant a warm, inviting atmosphere. The Day of the Dead theme adds a cultural touch, celebrating Mexican heritage which adds to the experience. Unfortunately, the kitchen needs to up its game to match the quality of the art.
