After you visit Seville cathedral, you will find this little gem when you walk up the street littered with tapas bars all the way to the end. The beer is cold and the food is great. I recommend the large size. The bartender cools the beer glass in ice water before pouring the beer. Nice! By far the best pulpo (grilled octopus) I've had The tomato burrata salad was delicious as well. Forgot to take pictures of everything we ordered.

This restaurant is definitely somewhat of a tourist-trap! It is in the heart of Seville, the chances of you walking past it are extremely high. Good things: * The atmosphere: The atmosphere was amazing, there were photos of guitars on the walls, there were cool Lamps hanging around, but it wasn't enough to convince me. * The location: Super-Central and in a nice neighborhood Bad things: * The Service: We asked for some cards in English, which apparently was a wild thing to ask for (!?), when we ordered the food and drinks, we got them and weren't asked again until we paid. The waiter left our empty plates and trash right in front of us for a good 35 minutes before taking them (and it wasn't busy!). When we wanted to pay, it took him about 10 minutes just to get the card reader! - I work in a restaurant as well and I would be ashamed if I worked like that! * The food: Very mediocre food, Mini hamburger was nice, nothing special Though. Nice salad. Again, nothing special. * The price: Very much for very few. We all felt like we payed way too much for this kind of food. All in all - stay away from this Restaurant, there are tons of nice tapas bars around, no need to eat here!

We liked it! Maybe we just knew what to order. The prices are good and the services is satisfactory. I would go back again.

Average tapas. Goat cheese and honey was superb. Skip the spinach and chickpeas. Service was okay.

Very flavoury tapas. The paella was good but it is better to eat paella in Valencia region. Lots of garlic use in the tapas, which I like.

Also, one of the servers noticed, a drunk person came in and almost fell on top of me. He made sure I was okay and that I safely walked out to the street. So sweet! Thank you for the experience!

She seemed to be only one of 2 waiters there and there were also a few tables full outside. But we were the only customers inside. So we initially overlooked her behavior as being busy. No big deal. Then the food came out and one dish after another that was a salad or came with a salad was brown. Half the salad was brown and wilted. But, we could not get her attention as we were in the back room. And when another table filled up back there she was in such a rush that we could not flag her down to tell her about the wilted salad. So we ate around the brown salads. And when we were able to get her attention we told her that the lettuce and salad were not fresh. She took a micro second to look at it as she was running out the room and repeated "La lechuga no es fresca?" While she was running out the room. And never came back to inquire if we wanted another salad or a replacement. That was it. You take it or leave it apparently. I must say there were some really good dishes that we ordered. The ox tail and pig trotters were soft and well seasoned. But the grilled Iberian pork and grilled chicken had ZERO seasoning. Just plain and rubbery. Maybe that's the way it is. Maybe not. But there was zero taste. However we were able to salvage most of the plates by dunking the meat pieces in the pork trotter sauce. And we were all hungry and just wanted to be done and out of there. We left 75% of our salad and various lettuce from other plates, as we picked our way through the brown stuff, in order to not waste more food than needed. We also hoped somebody back in the kitchen would realize that most of the greens had not been touched. But there was no word by the end of dinner and we quickly paid and left. We passed the waitress on the way out and there was not a single word out of her mouth. We even had to pay at the bar and that guy also did not say a single word. I have been an Elite Yelper for 7 years and I have only written 2 other reviews of less than 4 stars. I don't want to hurt anybody's business. I figure a bad restaurant will eventually put itself out of business. But, this is the third time in my life that I'm writing up a less than 4 star review. Bc they deserve it. The 1 star is for the wonderful decor and 1/3 of the dishes that were very good. It really is a pity. We were expecting so much more from the experience-our last meal together in Spain before going home tomorrow. Unfortunately, 2 out of 7 of us had to go hungry (they didn't touch their food and the rest of us had to eat half their plates for them) and go elsewhere for food afterwards. Really a shame. We're staying just down the street from it and were looking forward to staying at the bar and drinking afterwards. The poor service and food made us run out of there.

Tapas range from 4,50 to 16€. Many tapas focused on uncooked proteins like tartare and ceviche, and I wasn't I interested in those. The taco was mostly diced onion and red bell pepper. The shrimp tempura was nice with a spicy sweet and sour sauce. The shrimp, potatoes, and mango salad was unsurprisingly mild. The pork with gorgonzola sauce was very fatty and boring, as if they forgot the gorgonzola.

The restaurant is beautifully done with an industrial aesthetic that feels effortless yet edgy. The kitchen is elevated and open so you can watch the food being meticulously prepared by the chefs. The service was outstanding, every server was attentive to all of our needs and requests. The chef came and spoke with us at our table about dietary restrictions, and even customized a few dishes for us. The ingredients spoke for themselves: fresh and of the highest quality, the flavors in the food were top-notch. I see that some other reviewers have had some issues, but for us everything was perfect. This was not only the best food we had in Sevilla, but also ranks amongst the best food we had in over two weeks in Spain. The only complaint I have is that there is not an Umami in Los Angeles so we can enjoy this more often! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable, delicious restaurant in Sevilla. Bonus points for being so centrally located!
