Combo of Two Chicken Shish Kabob and Moroccan Shrimp Kabob. Hennessy sidecar cocktail, and hookah.

This review does not sit well with me because we LOVE Casablanca Brookfield. 1-4 the good! 5-the not so good! 1. We wanted to bring in the New Year at Casablanca. Brookfield specifically to avoid the night club atmosphere of Brady Street. We were informed they were booked days prior and only accepting walk ins as allowed. My sister was later able to book a reservation for our party! Thank goodness! 2. We arrived and noticed the parking lot was pretty empty for an evening, especially NYE! This made it even better! When I see empty lots I think of better service as staff aren't spread so thin. We were seated immediately and the waitstaff was very attentive as we thought. This is another positive. 3. We ordered a few hookahs. We were satisfied with the quality and the follow up with switching the coals. No complaints. 4. Our drinks were very delicious. Everyone ordered at least one cocktail and no one had any complaints on the flavor or the amount of spirits. The drinks are priced fairly as well. 5. Here's what did not sit well with me. The food! We usually have great experiences with the food here. However, there were some misses this visit. My sister ordered the beef stirfry. It was extremely salty. However, she did not want to complain and decided to eat most of it as we had a late reservation, she was hungry, and had began drinking cocktails. She wanted to put something on her empty stomach. Two more people in our party, experienced the same thing. Their food was extremely salty. The waitress ended up taking the food back and issued them 50% off of the price of the entrée. My husband ordered Shawarma fries for the table. Everyone received their entrées but the fries never arrived to our table. When we inquired about them, our waitress said the kitchen was backed up and that they would be out shortly. Fries? Fries, queso, and shawarma meat takes longer than entrees? Sounds like someone forgot to enter them! It was probably another 20 minutes before the fries arrived to our table. By that time, everyone was done for the most part so there was no need to share the fries. My husband inquired about the inconvenience and was also offered half off the price of the fries. 6. Our plan to bring in the new year at Casablanca was cut short because people at our table were hungry and wanted to go get food that was not salty. We ended up visiting another restaurant where guests who did not enjoy their food picked up a quick bite. 7. Will I return back to Casablanca? Not with our family as their first experience wasn't pleasant. I do believe in giving businesses an opportunity to make things right. This is also not what we typically experience at Casa. We're hopeful they will read this review and our next experience will be much more pleasant.

First a couple qualifiers. 1. I am from Detroit with a large number of people from the Middle East. And many good restaurants from up and down the price range AND a Greek town. They all took their hits during the pandemic, but good eats to be found. 2. I just came back from New Orleans and eating great local food. I found Casablanca to be disappointing at every course of the meal. First is the spinach pie aka a roll stuffed with a sparse spicy mix of spinach. My first bite of the Chicken was fat. The rice was so so. Everything served at the edge of cold. The grilled vegetables were luke warm. But I figured there are so many places around MKE with good baklava, that cannot go wrong. Well, it did. Again bready, with some candied walnuts, no honey favor. I recall the food being good at the Downtown location. Perhaps, pandemic supply issues. So I went with a three vs two, although what you see in the pictures is all the food that I did not eat. Will try the downtown location. Hoping it is still good.

Very very good middle eastern food and I'm a tough critic as an Iraqi and a Detroiter where we have the largest Arab population in the US. Great seasoning and portion sizes. You can order hookah at the tables as well which is nice but they are much more expensive than what I'm used to in Detroit. $38 for a grapefruit head is pretty steep. Our server was very nice and our food came out quickly but after that, we hardly saw her again and I had to flag her down for a drink refill and again for the check. Overall a very nice ambiance, good music playing that's not too loud, I would definitely return if I'm back in the area

We tried Casablanca on a night that it wasn't busy and our service was pretty great. We were the only ones in the main dining room and our server was quite attentive. We ordered the appetizer combo and the shawarma wraps. The combo was delicious! The spinach pie and hummus were by fav. The only thing I didn't love was the tabbouleh, too minty for my taste. The wraps were also great but we were stuffed after the combo!

Upscale sports bar. In the center. Hookah up front. Dining in the rear. The scent of sweet tobacco waifs occasionally thruout. Classy ambiance with a well trained and cordial staff. The Hurricane drink delicious and priced at half my shrimp pasta dinner price. Wow. Food is tasty and well prepared. Priced at city levels.

Spacious place with lots of available seating in the suburbs! Their all you can eat brunch on the weekend include unlimited mimosas! I tried the nonalcoholic mango version and it was alright, which was soda and mango juice combined. The idea was great! The plethora of food of both Mediterranean And American will definitely stuff you if you don't eat slow enough. Make sure you leave room for the flan! They have one of the best made flan I've tasted. The rest of true desserts had great presentation. They have decent food. It would be great if there were more options for brunch versus the $19.99 buffet. Maybe vegetarian buffet on weekends would offer a lesser price. This place did look great, nice chandeliers and spacious seating. It's a good place to bring a big family for brunch and not worry about waiting to get a table.

My husband and I enjoyed Casablanca as part of the "Dine in Brookfield" event and we really enjoyed it. The service was great and the food was fantastic. The menu offered a taste of some of the best of the middle eastern cuisine. Perfect for a first-timer like me! We are definitely coming back to Casablanca. My favorites: Hummus & Pita, and the lentil soup.

Yeah, it's a no from me dawg. We went back to give Casablanca 2.0 another shot tonight. The mister had suggested sushi but I wanted something more flavorful and I'd always loved the Veg Combo at the Brady Street location. In good news - improved service! We were checked on, no issue with getting beverages, things were timed nicely. My husband also really enjoyed his grilled scallops dish. We tried the hummus with chicken this time and that was GREAT - the chicken was juicy and flavorful. You could make a meal of this and I'd suggest perhaps you do... In bad news - well, pretty much almost everything else. The lentil soup was still delicious but sadly served barely lukewarm. My veggie combo came with: Hummus - the best thing on the plate by far Tabbouli - WAY, way, way too much lemon juice, it overshadowed all other flavors Baba ganoush - just "ok". It really had no flavor at all. Falafels - served fresh and hot but again, literally no flavor at all. It was like eating styrofoam. Spinach pie - this one makes me so sad because it was my favorite from Brady. What I got was soggy and clearly microwaved - and again, just no flavor. I truly wish the Casablanca owners well with this location but it would be a hard sell to get me back here with 2 very disappointing meals in a row - sad face.

I am truly disheartened that this location does not have many stars. I think with any new establishment, there are going to be kinks. I think that a lot of times we expect dining experiences to be absolutely perfect from jump, but the reality is that things happen. With that being said, my food was bomb.com. Seriously. It was absolutely delicious. This was my first time trying middle eastern food and hooka!! My date pushed me to just give hooka a try just once, as smoking is really not my thing. And well, it was good! I'm not sure that I would do it on my own, as it's not my thing? But I would definitely partake socially. We sat at the bar and the service was absolutely amazing! Friendly and attentive, yet not disruptive. They were great! I ordered the combo plate of chicken shawarma and beef kabobs. It came with a salad I did not particularly care for. My food was cooked perfectly though. I absolutely loved that the meal came with grilled veggies. I love grilled veggies. The beef was juicy, tender and flavorful, as well as the chicken. Paired with the rice, I would absolutely come and order this again. I also had the sangria, which was also delicious. It wasn't too sweet, but not bitter at all. It was yummy. The place is very spacious and able to accommodate just about anyone. Definitely give Casablanca a good chance!!

Casablanca has the best tasting food but bad service. The server was late in getting us water/drinks, forgot our hummus appetizer plate and didn't being us utensils. It was not even busy.. Every thing we requested was brought to us quite late and we had to wait around longer than we wanted to. Go for the food, not for the service.

If you don't look, you might miss Arabian Nights Hookah Lounge. Especially during the daytime. But at night, they have neon lights that draw you in like a bug to a zapper under summer's stars. If you are drawn in, you won't be let down. Let's get something straight here -- this is a Hookah Bar. There isn't alcohol and there doesn't need to be. If you want to go somewhere for that, try using your Yelp app for "bars" with the little martini glass next to it. The interior of the place is much like a hookah bar in Cairo -- it's dimly light with a great ventilation system. There's an actual bar counter you can sit at and smoke. Ample amount of tables for seating and some rooms with couches and televisions if you'd like. For the TV's, they have Netflix, Spotify, Hulu and all the fixings like you're right at home. For the hookah, it's pretty unique if you want it to be. For the bowl (where the tobacco goes), you can get a hollowed out fruit -- apple, pineapple, watermelon, lemon and so on. Trust me, this makes it taste so much better. For tobacco, they have Starbuzz, Al-Fahker, Fumari and more (which are the traditional suppliers). You can mix flavors together if you wish. The smoke is smooth and quite flavorful, which creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing night with friends. For food, I've had the shawarma wrap before and their smoothie. It's good! The Turkish coffee is really good as well, and you can get it without sugar if that's your thing. It's really caffeinated and quite good. I'd recommend trying some coffee which sips great in between puffs of hookah.

The atmosphere, though, felt a little confusing and inconsistent. It seemed like a mix between a traditional Middle Eastern restaurant and a neighborhood dive bar, which created a somewhat unusual vibe. We've enjoyed "sip and paints" here, New Year's Eve, when they offered brunch with crepes, and frequented when they had their vegetarian lunch buffet. Unfortunately, things have changed. 1. Atmosphere The décor hasn't changed. Still sleek, dimly lit, and romantic. The bathroom water wasn't working, and staff seemed aware of it when we mentioned it. How is that sanitary or up to code? Several of the chairs brought to our table were also broken, with bent legs a clear safety issue. It's typically packed on a Saturday like a dance club but it was nearly empty on a Saturday night which may be a reflection of our experience. 2. Service Our waitress was kind and attentive despite handling a large group, but the busboy was unprofessional. He started clearing plates while people were still eating and even asked my husband to reach across the table to hand over other guests' dishes. It made us feel rushed, even though the place wasn't busy. 3. Food My chicken shawarma was greasy, hard, sour, and unseasoned, almost as if the meat had gone bad. The potato balls were cut open which I've never seen and underwhelming. My husband and son's wings were over fried and tough, the spinach artichoke dip was clumpy and poorly blended, and others said the lamb chops were "okay." Honestly, the best thing I ate that night was the pita bread. 4. Overall Experience This used to be our go to for birthdays, Brady Street drag show viewing, and happy hour, but it's gone downhill. Between the sanitation issues, broken furniture, food quality, and rushed service, it no longer feels like "our spot". SO TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION.... This was hard to write because I have so many great memories here and I wanted the experience to be better. Sadly, I won't be returning.
