Upon asking why, I'm told the city inspector is apparently making blanket, unreasonable evaluations of meters and is requiring replacement no matter the condition. I contacted the city and spoke with another inspector. (The city inspector I spoke with disputed such claims.) Be that as it may, I obviously need to restart the estimating process all over again to include meter replacement. In the meantime, I asked that my client's deposit be returned. These events took place around 8/24/17. He indicated that he couldn't return my client's deposit right away. He was owed a lot of money from customers. No credit has been processed to my client's credit card and the contractor has billed me personally for $185 as well as threatening to file a lien against my client's property. $685 and no work done.
