This place doesn't look like much, but they have the best subs around. We stopped here on a weekday around lunchtime and they were busy but moved quickly. The Italian sub with everything is my favorite! The right amount of meat and veggies with a nice and crispy sub roll. We drove out of our way to stop here and well worth the trip. Would give 0 stars if I could. Had an Italian sub a few weeks ago with bad salami that I had to take off. Gave them a second chance and got soggy inedible onion rings and a cheesesteak that was supposed to have ketchup and fried onions and it had neither. Had to put my own ketchup on when I got home and threw half away because it tasted like it had been sitting all day. Joe Casapulla used to run this place like his parents in Elsmere, but it has gone way downhill. No more chances. read more

If I only read the reviews before ordering my sub. I ordered a cheese sub and asked to have my peppers and relish on the side. Even though it comes with the sandwich. I was charged extra.25 cents. The girl at the counter told me that the next time you come back that I would know I will get charged. Well you don't have to worry about that. I can honestly say being from Philly, the turkey hoagie ain't bad in a pinch. I was honestly disappointed though as we are in the midst of a covid19 pandemic trying to support a local business that most of the staff were working without properly wearing face mask. When I pointed it to the young man at the register, he said that he would speak to those employees, as I pointed out that his was not covering his nose. When I returned to my car, he removed his mask. Prior to leaving, I expressed to him that while the staff is young, they can infect others. Went to casapullas for dinner and we enjoy our cheesesteaks an Italian subs. Good place to eat

The food is ok but the service and hours are not. For a sub shop, they close very early and typically won't answer the phone 30 minutes before closing (at 7pm on Fridays), or they will continuously pick up and hang up like they did tonight. Just can't recommend this kind of service where staff are seemingly more concerned about their convenience than customer service and getting business. There are too many options to choose from - it's not worth subjecting yourself to this type of service for just "ok" food. read more

The subs and steaks are very good if you can order them. I tried to call in an order three times and let it ring 18 - 20 times each time I called. Each time someone picked up, hit the fax button and then hung up. If their staff won't answer the phone, people will stop ordering from them. The owner needs to tell them that if they don't answer the phone, they will be fired before they drive away all of their patrons. Having patronized Casapulla's for all of my childhood and adult life, (I am 52) this will be the last $44.00 I ever spend in any of their establishments. Mr. Casapulla is probaly spinning in his grave by the quality his decendants have let his brand slip to. Bought 4 sandwiches two of which I am uploading pics of. Steak sandwich with extra onions, sweet peppers and ketchup. As you can see by the picture 1 sliver of steak, 1 sweet pepper, you have to strain your eyes to find and onion and a very small trace of ketschup. Knew I was doomed when I walked in and the staff was arguing over answering the phone. I was excited to try Casapulla's again after I got a chance to sample one of their subs at a work group order of food. However, I ran into a problem which I was not prepared for. The different Casapulla's have different menus, or at least this particular one does. While the menu has several staple items the Glasgow shop did not have all the items that are on the website for the main site. There was no spicy sausage sandwich or roast pork, the two I had a hankering for. Since there was no sausage or roast pork I decided to go with a mushroom cheesesteak with some onions. I prefer the raw onions in the sandwich to fried so there is a little bite to them. The bread was fairly standard, nothing special. Not hard or dry, but the crust was fairly plain. The steak and cheese was the usual, nothing outstanding or memorable, same for the mushrooms and onions. Over all the sandwich was okay, but nothing special The staff was quick and courteous. While I will eat at Casapulla's again, I think I will try to get to another site for the full menu. read more

Worst subs ever. Asked for large fresh turkey. They gave me a large ham. It had 4 pieces of cheap square ham- it was awful. Also ordered small cheese steak with American cheese. They put this nasty provolone that was like a thick block. The girl who made the sandwich whispered something to the girl who checked me out, I heard her say something about losing a sandwich. I asked her are you sure my sandwiches are correct and she said oh yeah this is what you ordered. Called for 1/2hr they would not answer, so went to shop to order. My husband and I went here and employees are NOT wearing masks. During this pandemic and while an order is in place for EVERYONE to be masked. Had been here once before and the service was good. Went on another occasion and 3 teenagers were working. One was making my sun while the other girls gossiped. While she was making my sub the phone rang, she stopped and answered, then proceeded to pull cheesesteak meat out of the freezer for the order. After she took all the meat out of the wax paper to put on the grill, she then went right back to making my Italian sub....NEVER changed her gloves! I've been coming to this place for years. Even in their old location in the same shopping center. I was stationed in Philadelphia and would drive down just for their cheesesteaks, they are that good. Better than half the places in Philly. It's not greasy but they are juicy and flavorful. You can actually taste the steak, not just a bunch of grease. I'm home on leave with some family from Baltimore and drove up just for this place. Tolls and all! The staff is always friendly and they have a fridge and freezer section to buy different pastas and seafood. read more
