Person that helped me select frames was pretty attentive, however, the frames were extremely over priced as well as any lenses beyond basic lens (blue light/transition etc). Didn't feel eye dr was thorough and billing was a nightmare. Still dealing with it even after insurance and Co pays applied. Cost is 10×'s as much as I would have if just got exam at walmart/costco and purchased frames online. I will not be going back, let's just say that. read more

I had a horrible experience with the male optometrist I saw about three years ago. However, my recent visit with the female optometrist was completely different--she was absolutely fantastic! She made me feel comfortable and well cared for, and I left feeling confident about recommending this office. In fact, I was so impressed that I even sent my husband there for his care. The Doctors are all fantastic. BUT, don't use their practice to order glasses. I had cataract surgery, new glasses needed. Used three month old frames. Called to tell me my new glasses were in. Tried them on said "Oh, I can't see at all" answer was "give them a week" I didn't. Went back three days later and found that those were my old lenses!! The new ones were shipped separately, but no one bothered to check the prescription in the frames. Just "give them a week" and no ifs ands or buts. And then with the new lenses in, I could see. BUT, the gal had ordered the very narrow field of vision, because "That's what your insurance would cover"..........And?? You didn't ask if I wanted to pay a little extra to have the ability to read and use the computer, without having to move my head back and forth to get the 'right' spot in my lenses to be able to see? You also gave me a "lecture" on astigmatism vs eye muscles and then you told me how much you disliked my Eye Doctor! I escaped and will now get that prescription filled elsewhere, and never again trust these folks to be able to order glasses! read more

Silly people. Canncels my appointment because my insurance doesn't allow me more than once every two years. Not a problem. Then they continue to call me every week to try and set up another appointment until it's annoying. I point out that they canceled my last appointment so they then tell me "if I wanted to schedule an appointment it would be out of pocket." ripe with her little attitude. Yes dumb dumb, I know that....that's how bills work. Not to mention we've already discussed it three times and no one filled you in. Hence my annoyance at being called again after folks already called me 45 times to make an appointment, then canceled on me the day of. No one likes stalker call centers. Work isn't easy, and I'm not that great but please... you shouldn't have your snotty little attitude with me because you're not informed, or can't remeber the conversation we've had multiple times. Dr has the most up to date equipment and you get a very thorough examination. screening test that could save you vision all part of the eye care. f the the time you get to the front desk till you are fitted for glasses is all a great experience. read more

Been seeing Dr. William for over 20 years. I have not been able to schedule a routine eye exam because the Clinic said I need a medical referral from my medical doctor. I have sent Cascade Eye Care all the information from my insurance carrier, showing I have coverage and that they are an approved as a preferred provider. Even included the information from my policy declaration of benefit. Unfortunately, they are not open minded to enough to consider the information I provided. read more

Do not go to Cascade Eye Care. My kids went in March 2. Her glasses are now available as of 06/14/23. I have called in/gone in many times to follow up only for them to give me attitude and say "did we call you". Me "no". Then there not in. Last time was May 23. I call today guess what they're in. No phone call. After waiting three months. I had an appointment on Feb 27 for contacts. The eye doctor walked me up front and told the front desk to schedule me with Modio to order contacts. They should have set me up for a follow up appointment. I emailed several times that I could not order from Modio. For months they dicked me around saying they didn't know why. Turns out Modio won't let me order without the follow up. None of the people I spoke with/emailed could figure this out. When they did after months, they told me the doctor should have told them it was for Contacts. Like what do you think "set her up with Modio to order contacts" mean??? They scheduled me a follow up (May 23 which was 3 months after my first visit) which I was told I would get new contacts as I have been wearing the same for several months, free of charge. They didn't have my Rx in stock. The guy told me they were losing lots of patients due to the staff being incompetent. Did not use their Modio as I don't trust them went through 1800 contacts in one week had contacts. They do not care about their customers. I will be reaching out o my insurance to see what their contract says about turnaround times and making sure to turn them in everywhere I can. read more

I love my optimist he's been great, But the customer service has a long way to go . I understand Covid has changed things. I went to pick up my contacts stood in line and was waited on, the receptionist was taking my information and looking me up on her computer , I swear mid sentence she saw the gentleman-behind me and dropped what she was doing with me and waited on him. She left be waiting. It's hard to reach them by phone. It's hard to make an appointment to get glasses fitted. I have been a customer for 9 years and am moving my business. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have gone to this clinic off and on for over 30 years. (The only time I do not go to this clinic is when I live out of the area.) I had not been to the clinic for 10 years. Took a family member there for a follow up appointment. I was so surprised that Dr. Bill remembered my name. This office sees so many people each day. I explained that I was happy with my contact brand and wanted to continue to use the same product. They did not carry the brand I use and when I asked why he was having me try two new ones I got a snippy remark about having beginning signs of allergies. I proceeded to try out the new brand as suggested and AFTER I had one in my eyeball. I was given this piece of paper to sign stating that the "fitting" fee would cost me an extra $129 which my insurance would not cover ( they billed my insurance $232 for the exam ). I never did finish getting my prescription from them. I have made yet another appointment where I will pay about $100 out of pocket total cost so I don't have to put up with the BS. read more

July 2017 I went in to get my prescription renewed so I could order more contacts. All was fine until the exam was complete and I was taken in to get fitted for contacts was charged a fee for fitting, and I was ok with that. I missed my finale appointment due to a family illness. I only really wear them in the summer, so fast forward to today I called to get my prescription and they stated it been a year so I need to get re-fitted again and would have to pay that fee. I said that is robbery. I am so disgusted with their greediness. Please Note I have been wearing contacts for 30 plus years.. this is the first time I have EVER come across anything like this. I have filled a complaint with the BBB and DOH. From what I have read I am not the first to have over payment or billing issues. NOT OK you thieves. read more

I've gone here for my eye care needs for around 5 years under my parents plan. Now that I have my own insurance, I came back just to buy frames as a I live out of town. The frame sales people were nice enough but when I asked the front desk for help looking for frames, I was immediately confronted for insurance coverage and payment options before anyone would help me.... The receptionist even made a point to follow me to point out the my file was out of date, repeatedly ask which insurance plan I had, and how I would be paying, after I had already explicitly said I was just looking for frames. I went to them for the first time about two years ago. The eye Dr. told me I had cataracts and probably have had them to some degree for over 15 years. Why couldn't all the other eye care people I had gone to find them. Hopefully the statement was true and not just to get a medical diagnosis. I was satisfied with my glasses which needed extra coatings of various kinds. Even with Medicare paying for most of the exam my final bill was over 600.00. I had saved up, so no biggie. One of my lenses got a big scratch on it when I ran into something sticking out in my garden. They had a one time replacement I had purchased so I was able to get it replaced. Other than the costs I think I got a good product and I liked the staff, mostly, and the Doctor. read more

I sure wished I never went back to this business the second time around. I knew that I'd be paying quite a bit before I was quoted only $53 for the eye exam on the phone. Unfortunately, It was AFTER I had agreed and been tested, that I received a bill in the mail, on top of the $54.75, for another $198.55. To their unfortunate way of being so sloppy with their uninformed and inaccurate estimates done over the phone, I realized that by doing business with them would only support the way they run things around there and would NOT teach them proper business techniques AND proper customer service.
