You don't have the breathtaking view like the other one but Alpine Inn Restaurant will give you that cozy cabin vibes while dining in. Love the rustic look and its cozy feeling. Bandit and I love the place. Good thing is they have some rooms available to booked and I'm sure this will elevate the coziness you wanna experience. Since we were not hungry (we ate at the top restaurant 1st) I got the soup of the day and wine for the bandit. The soup is good but kinda lack of taste (salt and pepper easily fixed the issue). Bandit enjoyed his house wine and me enjoying the soup. All is good and would love to try their main menu the next time we visit here. Service is good and the staff are prompt, so it added the comfy feeling while we're here. Mahalo for reading and happy juandering fellow yeeps!

I liked the portion sizing and the curry was actually quite tasty - The coffee was good and came with almond milk - It was a cozy ski resort vibe where it's dim inside and you can stay a while to stay protected from the cold Bad: - Pretty expensive to just get a meal and 1 coffee, it was over $40 after tip - Service was pretty good but took a while for food to come Overall this place was nice given there were only a few options on the mountain but wouldn't come again since I felt it was way too expensive

In the many years I have been coming to Washington (at least once a year and sometimes twice a…read moreyear), I didn't know this place existed. My bonus daughter planned a day trip to Crystal Mountain and it truly was quite an incredible experience in itself. The Summit House is Washington's highest-elevation restaurant at 6,872 feet. To get there, you ride the scenic gondola up from the resort. The cost for the ride up is $54 for adults, so I suggest taking full advantage of taking in the scenery. Walk around, take pictures, and pause to take in the fresh air. It was a very warm day (I think it was high 70s-80ish), so by the time we did that, we were thirsty and hungry. You have the option to eat on the patio (which is also dog friendly) or inside. We ate inside as it looked like the tables with shade outside were taken. The service was good. Four stars for service. The staff was very friendly and pleasantly interacted with us. We sat at the corner table right when you walk in which was all window so the view was incredible. It's not facing Mt Rainier, but the view is still incredible that high up. Side note: there were flies in that corner that were trying to get out as you can imagine. We had poutine for the table. The fries in the poutine were good, but the gravy and cheese combined were on the salty side. The chicken in the fried chicken sandwich was a bit tough. The classic burger and the elk burger were a bit tough (maybe overcooked?). The strawberry and pear spinach salad was fine. The roasted veggie sandwich was fine. The fries that the dishes came with were overall pretty good. A few of us had huckleberry lemonade that we enjoyed. The reviews average three stars for Summit House and I agree. 2.5 stars for food 4 stars for service 3 stars all around average The view is what we came for and that did not disappoint at all.

It's quite literally on the other side of the mountain from us - just over Chinook pass on the west side. We were looking for a spot to grab some lunch after an early season hike of Naches peak loop, and this place was the one we were looking for! For those "uneducated" about very small towns in central southern Washington, Naches is a one such town. Anytime we see a spot that's named after somewhere near us, we generally try to check it out, so imagine our surprise when we came across this magic little hole in the wall. It's very rustic/mountainy feeling inside and out. From the pool table room with dollar bills stapled to the wall, to the old school bar, and the yard out back with extra seating, this place oozes small town charisma! The menu isn't huge, but it was very good! Burgers, chicken, salads, fish 'n chips and some seriously dope cheese curds are all at your fingertips! The drink selection is solid, trends towards a biker bar (not surprisingly), and had some good non-alcoholic options. The woman who took our order, may have helped make everything, and was quick to get our drinks and food out to us. There was a bit of a crowd and she did nice job of taking care of everyone. As a random aside, you should check out the bathrooms and their decor. It's quite a unique spectacle! On a nice day, there are few places nicer than a spot like this. If you're driving over highway 410, this is place you should plan to check out!

Splitting a bill is always an interesting option here and they do not offer substitutions. That is ok. Because the burgers are solid and the homemade potato chips are the bomb! The dive bar vibe is real too. 80's music pumps and you can sit outside or inside. Clean bathroom and I enjoy summer vibes here. Eat good food and as always! SYOY.

We arrived around lunchtime, and got seated right away. Both the exterior and interior had a rustic vibe, with a wood stove and beautiful wall mural of the mountain. I started with a Hot Cider to warm up, which really hit the spot. My friend and I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich (daily special) to share, as well as a slice of the famous Blackberry Pie. The Chicken Parmesan Sandwich was solid, but nothing too memorable. The cutlet was a little thick for my preference, but it got the job done. The real star, of course, was the Blackberry Pie! The texture of the crust was perfect and the filling tasted delightfully homemade. We got it without ice cream since it was chilly, but I'm sure it's fantastic with a scoop, as well! They also had some cute local gifts for sale, and I snagged a bar of artisan blackberry soap. Service was friendly and quick!
