These burgers are absolutely SMASHING baby, yeah... channeling my inner Austin Powers... as I gobble down the Wenatchee Burger. But first, let's make like Marty McFly and go back in time. My bud says let's go meet up for burgers and brew. I'm like, "Sure, don't gotta ask me twice." And off we went. My mind was blown by all the things in such close proximity of each other... I mean like a parking lot closeness. We got some serious grub burgers, with a brewery next door to enjoy said tasty meat patties. With a distillery in the back/front, and a wine or tea bar on the other side. You don't have to go far to stumble or crawl. Ok... moving forward... back to Burger Buds! I had no idea this was the original truck or location. I live out in the Maple Valley area, and we frequent that burger buds often. However, every time I go, I always want to try a new burger. And the Wenatchee was calling my name. Something about crisp Washington apples and cheese just sounded good with some candied bacon. C'mon son! Not to mention their fries! We ordered our food, found a place to sit down inside the brewery, ordered some cider, and once the food was ready, we just sat and hung out and enjoyed conversation. This is a perfect location! I got the Proper Patty and it was basically a perfectly done smash burger. Nothing complicated, just fresh ingredients done right with a nice sauce bringing things together. It definitely hits the spot. My wife got the Chicken Sammy and really liked it too. The staff was super friendly and kind enough to add onions and tomatoes to her sandwich on request. Buger Buds is a food truck that's typically parked right next to a brewery, offering plenty of seating for all. We visited for a weekday lunch and our order took about 5 minutes total. Proper Patty ($11) - This burger comes with two smash patties, both of which are heavily salted and somewhat crisped up - the pictures from other people make it seem like they cook long enough to get lacy caramelized edges, but it's not quite to that point. Instead, the burgers, while not moist and fatty, aren't dried out either, and give a great beefy flavor. The burger sauce adds some tangy sweetness, and some pickles on top adds even more sweetness, but a very fresh crunch. It's otherwise pretty standard with the lettuce and tomato. A solid smashburger. (4/5) Fries ($5) - These are fried enough to give a crust on the potatoes, but not enough for the fries to be come crisp. Still, they aren't floppy, so while not entirely crisp, these are still good for eating especially since the insides are nice and fluffy. They are salted a lot, which combined with the salty dip (we went with the Bud's Sauce), equals a parched mouth after eating. I think they actually use a lime salt or something as I can detect a bit of citrus flavor. The Bud's Sauce is a nice mayochup mixture with I think a bit of smokiness from paprika and some chopped onion. It's sweet, tangy, and salty. (4/5) Overall Burger Buds serves some nice classic smashburgers! It's great for a visit while in town for a quick and easy meal. read more

Their burger portions are huge! They do not skimp out on their bugers. They are loaded with condiments and patties, you are never leaving on an empty stomach. Ordered the Chicken Sammy and wished I only ordered the burger and not fries with it. Dont get me wrong fries tasted phenomenal plus its a bonus that theyre fried in beef talow. Chicken wasnt crispy but it was overloaded in sauce. Fries werent crispy and were overly salted, but didnt taste soggy. I LOVE SMASHBURGERS!! This was my first time trying out this burger truck. It was recommended to me by a good friend and I did not disappoint! I tried out the Proper patty, some French fry's, and the most scrumptious garlic aioli!! The proper was the most amazing combination of textures and flavors. You have crispy meatiness of the burger patty's, the creaminess of the sauces, crunch and flavor of the onion, pickle, and tomato, a nice creamy cheese, and a nicely toasted bun to pull it all together. Ugh I can still taste how amazing it was! The fry's were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle. And what really was the ticket, that stinking garlic aioli! Oh. My. Goodness. I just.....idk it was one of those sauces that you could put on everything and be okay with it. Utterly perfect. The guys working the truck were all super sweet and helpful! Parked right outside of either choice of a wine shop, distillery or a brewery where you can have a really good smash burger. We sometimes come to Enumclaw for a road trip and find it the perfect combination to have a burger and red amber at the brewery. The sauce is a bit messy and I prefer to have my hamburgers dry without the sauce, but sometime squeeze some catsup it as I'm eating it. They have simple and really complex burgers, but I tend for the simple one with just 2 patties. I might get 3 patties next time. I call many of my good friends my "Burger Buds", so I thought that it would only be appropriate for me to stop by this smashing food truck after a day of ripping up Crystal Mountain. The burgers look mountainous on the menu to display the inner workings of these meat creations, with layers upon layers of toppings. They are truly cooking up carnivore art in the truck, so I appreciate that. The textural contrast of the crispy edges and the soft bun takes these burgers over the top. And then once they throw on things like onion rings and bacon... they will stack up against any burgers out there. The fries here are top notch as well. Excellent crispiness, and fluffy on the inside. They also let you pick from a variety of sauces that they're mixing up. And since I'm a sauce boi, I gladly obliged. It was the garlic aioli for me today, and man that did not let me down. A phenomenal 2024 blend, I wanted to ask for the recipe. The truck is set up right outside of a brewery, creating a symbiotic relationship between the smash patties and brews. You could spend all day here watching football and eating burgers. Wow!!! Burger Buds is home to my new favorite burger!! Hands down the best burger I've ever had (and I've had many!) We were in the area and saw that this spot was nearby so we decided to stop here to grab a quick dinner last night. We ordered the simple smash and added bacon and grilled onions and the big rig. Everything about this smash burger was perfect, seriously a 1000/10. The flavor was incredible. The fries were also amazing! They're tossed in beef tallow and are nice and crispy. Love that you can choose a sauce for your fries too - we got ranch and garlic aioli which were both great. The staff were friendly! It was our first time here and the guy at the front was helpful and answered our questions. You order at the counter, they give you a buzzer, and you'll pick up your food once your buzzer goes off. We waited ~10ish minutes for our food. The food truck is parked right in front of the brewery so it's a great location! You can grab a beer next door and grab a table either inside or outside. I can't stress enough how amazing this burger was. I'm dreaming about it as we speak - we're already thinking about driving 45 minutes just to grab another burger from here! The big rig was good, but honestly almost too much burger (is that even a thing. ) The proper patty was delish! I'd order this one again. Very fresh, crispy wedges but just good!! The fries were cooked perfectly and did I mention the amazing garlic aioli? It was the perfect complement to the fries. We also got ranch which was also good but not as good as the garlic. What a great spot, in Enumclaw. The burgers are on point - assuming you like the smash burger style. Grab a few extra napkins as these burgers will make a mess! The chicken sandwich is also a great option, if you like the heat make it a "spicy". One drawback is no drinks or shakes. But bonus this food truck is in the parking lot of Headworks Brewing. So grab your food and get your beverage from the brewery ( it's both kid and dog friendly).
