Went to Brunch with Santa for event. Selection was extensive , food was tasty! - breakfast bar - bacon, sausages, potatoes - omelette station - made fresh - Waffle station - made on order - eggs Benedict station - smoked salmon - sushi station - roles of all styles - turkey/ham/roast beef area - dessert bar - juice, coffee, pop - Live Christmas music, Santa @ Ms Claus, photo Good ambience, nice tables, service staff was prompt and efficient. Lots of parking (free) is a plus.

They have renovated and it's completely changed around. They have so many new machines. I was confused as to where things were when I was there recently -But the changes were good. It was really packed on a Friday night. I think they were having a big re-launch or something. It was too crowded for my liking, but it eventually tapered off. The glacier bar in the middle makes awesome frozen strawberry margaritas! Also food wise, the beef dip here is always good. But check out Match for the best pizza - pesto prawn with sun-dried tomatoes( But make it a deep dish ! ) Staff is decent, and the adjoining Coast Hotel has really nice rooms.

Adult brunch buffet is $13.65 & very small selection

Small casino out in Langley. Tons of parking and a lot of empty spaces on a Saturday. Thought it would be busier. Spoke with a couple managers who approached us and/or that we asked questions to, polite and professional all the way. We ate brunch at the buffet which was the smallest buffet I've ever seen. Not much to choose from at all, especially for brunch, and mostly diner type food without seasoning. Required to stand in line for 10 minutes before they opened for the brunch which was a bit of a joke. I grew up in Vegas so I'm more critical than the average person would be of a casino so take my 3 stars with a grain of salt.

    Lucky night for me!

We thought it would primarily be brunch/breakfast items but there was such a large selection and variety of items. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They also had live music which was a nice mood setter. You get juice, pop, coffee or tea included with your meal. Alcoholic drinks are extra charge. We had gone on a regular Sunday and not an "event" Sunday so am not sure of other offerings. There was sushi, inari sushi, dumplings, sticky rice (but not sure if the dimsum was leftover from lunar new year special), roast beef, ham, mussels, shrimp cocktail, fried rice, short rib, roasted vegetables (REAL veg not just bagged corn and peas like other places lol), sablefish, grilled chicken, eggs benny station, omelette station, charcuterie, scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, sausage, mini avo toasts and dessert bar. The only real downside is the overall price. I think just given the location I wish it were slightly cheaper. Adults are $45 and seniors are $37. There aren't a lot of good quality buffets around so I do understand it sets them apart it just may attract more guests at a bit of a cheaper price. Or maybe it they had something in conjunction with the casino to offer a discount that would be another incentive to get people across the bridge. I would be more so inclined to bring them back at a different rate as we are coming from Burnaby and Vancouver.

It's still slim pickings in food, and what is available is pricey. The good slot machines continue to go and the new once suck. I still end up here because my husband likes it. Anyway can't complain too much as tonight I've been winning, which is always nice.

Upon arrival, we were surprised to find security guards at the entrance requiring government photo identification. It struck us as a sign of how much the situation has changed in Metro Vancouver that a venue we once entered freely now has security screening. One person in our group, a 93-year-old woman, did not have photo identification with her. She does not drive, and both her BC ID card and health card are currently being renewed, leaving her without government-issued photo ID at the moment. Who would have thought she would need to bring her Canadian passport to attend a private event? The security guards strictly enforced the policy and denied her entry. Despite the obvious circumstances and the fact that she was a registered guest attending a private event, no discretion or flexibility was shown. The event organizers themselves requested an exception on her behalf, but their request was also denied. I have since learned that the casino has changed ownership and is own by Snuneymuxw First Nation, which may explain the heightened security measures and a more rigid approach to guest screening. Unfortunately, the experience left the impression that management and security were exercising poor judgment and showing little flexibility, even in the case of a clearly elderly guest attending a registered event. What should have been an enjoyable occasion became a disappointing and frustrating experience. In addition, the atmosphere in the surrounding area seems very different from what it used to be. Personally, I no longer feel as comfortable or secure in the area, particularly after dark. Overall, this was not the welcoming experience we had come to expect from this venue. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

If you are lucky enough to win 100x your bet during a bonus, be sure to leave and call it a nice win-similar to any casino, stay any longer past your win, you'll be in the negative lol :). In my experience, most "jackpots or hand pays" are won with bets over $3, but there are folks who I've seen win with bets $1.60 and lower. When I go, I have a few machines I like to play, but they never seem to pay anything more than 25x my bet during a bonus. But the random machines I sit down out have paid out well. If you want to play Dragon Link, have patience as the "regulars" seem to hold the machines so no one else can play it while they go out for a break. People who work there are friendly, nice and attentive. I don't recommend going to this Chances location specifically for the food, it's a little bit below average and just ok.

So here we are at the Silver Reef Casino. An open area outside of the crowds. We called the local number to make our reservations and to avoid these online reservations agencies that just inflate the prices. We ended up with a nice hotel with clean rooms. Our room has queen size beds with a medium firmness. This room is clean and spacious. It has a large flat screen TV, a decent sized mini fridge, a dresser for those of us who like to unpack. The A/C unit heats nicely. There is a large vanity for the bathroom and the tub shower offers shampoo and body wash. The bonus to staying at a casino hotel is the addition of security. Less worries about your car. Then there's the restaurants that are available, here there are 5. So there it is, well kept rooms, plenty of free, secure parking, and on site restaurants as well as some adult entertainment before getting some shut eye.
