If there is such a thing called an alpha personality. She definitely tries to be such. She (Roxy) is improving as time goes on. She is a loving dog , but has times of having too high of energy. As expected, the goody bags came packed full of cat stuff that I know my cats are going to love. We are now at the point that my cats actually recognize the Pet Emporium bags and will try to sneak towards the bag and try to pull out various treats and toys. They offered a "living room" setting with toys so we could watch the puppies play. This is a large facility and I can only imagine the complexity of managing such an operation. Our experience was the owners took a great deal of time at check out to ensure we were fully informed about all aspects of ownership (vet check, registration, feeding, potential for deworming, etc). Our veterinarian was very complimentary of our puppies health. There was a need to treat for worms but we expected that. The owners were very nice and caring. Our experience was positive and we would recommend evaluating this business for your own needs. We love our puppy. We are retired and she has given us hours of smiles and laughter. We have had her 3 weeks and every day is something new and energizing.

Glenda, after explaining food the cat would like and checking my vet records, seemingly upset she hadn't been to the vet in 3 years, although she had an appointment for her due rabies vaccine that weekend. And when speaking to other veterinarians, they were stoked my indoor cat is so healthy I don't have to take her to the vet for more than her RV3. She then said my cat is too old. After speaking to our specific vet, he highly recommended a kitten companion for our cat. So we have adopted a kitten. I wouldn't recommend this shelter. They don't seem to want to adopt cats out to loving homes and string you along with prolonged communication.

It was -1 degrees the other day, so frantically i found rescue groups in Michigan and I started calling to advocate for them. The lady that answered the phone was nice and resourceful. He would need to send the inquiry via online and get them to Adopt-a-Pet, but that never happened because he said the mom moved them the next day. I'm a bit upset because it's evident that the mom should be fixed, but it could be that no one in his neighborhood is aware of the practice. Even though this place wasn't able to help, but they were very helpful and sincere. I hope that the little family is safe from bad people, wildlife, cars, and the rigid weather. While I have 2 cat condos and 2 heated beds for the stray cats that I help feed (all fixed), I can't help but think about the others who aren't so lucky.
